Excellent advice, Ash, on how to shop on eBay for men's clothing. -There are tremendous bargains out there if you are knowledgeable, and keep searching on a regular basis.
Although I appreciate that there is a time and a place for smartwatches, they add nothing to a chap's sartorial style and should be avoided outside of the gym or running track.

The smartwatch one is a conundrum and, to me at least, it feels like we're in a temporary social situation.
I narrowly avoided being robbed of my watch in London a couple of years ago, it's an automatic from a well known brand that I'd had for years and it had never drawn attention before.
I wear an Apple Watch around London nowadays and try to make it look as elegant as possible with a leather strap. It lets me tap in and out of public transport too which is very handy.
At some point things may change and out will come my more classic watches but not just yet. I don't worry that I'm a target when I'm wearing the smartwatch.
I treated myself to Floris Wilde, it is quite a price, however it's got good strength and longevity on me. I love the smell. I don't have to apply much so I expect the bottle to last a couple of years at least because I only wear it on my days off work, feels too special to wear at work.
I always test a new scent at first and see how it settles on me. If I'm going to buy one it's my rule to never make an impulse buy on the same day I'll test one for the first time, I'll wait at least until the day after.
Another Floris that I love the smell of is Cefiro, it's an Eau de Toilette which I've found doesn't last as long on me but can be found significantly cheaper if a chap is looking to try the brand without such a big outlay.

An addendum: Ebay is a good source for cufflinks. Folks get them from estates and just want to get rid of them, so for very little money, you can get gorgeous cufflinks.

Just a thought as a smartwatch sartorial alternative is to try a smart ring. Not the best looking ring but does the job.
For warmer climates like Florida and Texas, attached single French cuffs are the only way to for people that wear cufflinks. No, I’m not talking about those dreadful so called single convertible cuffs that go back and forth between barrel cuffs and French cuffs.
I speak of attached single French cuffs that are just like the double French cuffs. Only the cuffs don’t get rolled to fasten the cufflinks into the cuffs.
The French cuffs I speak of are just as trim as single barrel cuffs. But single French cuffs work best with cufflinks with a shorter bar or shorter chain.
Like attached single barrel cuffs, attached single French cuffs, which are typically worn with white tie and tails, can be rolled up with zero bulk.

There's a thyme and a plaice for seasoned fish, same applies to smart watches. If you want to dress like a gentleman you need a normal watch.
Smart watches are only for exercise and health purposes.
I'm not sure this gent knows what he's talking about. God help me, he looks unfit and lethargic.
If you dress accordingly to the rules of this you tube channel and you are a middle age man , you add immediately 10 years . Women don’t fine a grandad dressed man attractive. If you are still dating, avoid the old chap style.

You have to dress your personality or your personality should dress you.
Yohji Yamamoto is way over 70 and dresses his own perfect style. Mick Jagger is 80 and he never dressed classic.
Charlie Watts was so very well dressed too.
Ash is very classic but totally suits him. Classic elegant proper excellent taste .
I think he was in the army. If he was a modern artist painter sculptor etc he would dress differently if you know what I mean.

I will just comment on one element:
Smart watches. I wear mine at all times. I have a Garmin Vivoactive 3 which looks just like a normal watch.
They don't all have to be the ubiquitous square of 🍏 or a chunky technical outdoor computer.
