Mum has the better voice, I would have advised her to sing alone but the public would turn on Simon for breaking up this 'cute' mother and son duo. It's just odd that both of them are singing love songs and they'd be far better off alone, it's getting very creepy at that stage. Plus, Simon was a bit sneaky, this time around he admitted that Mel had over shadowed her son in the last performance but Jaime was much improved here but he never told the truth and in their previous song, he said they were brilliant etc. He's just disingenuous and reading the public 's mood, he knew they would turn on him if he, just told the truth.
