Totally nailed it! This past season, I redid my med kit and started carrying a backup release, tarp, and micro spikes. I dropped my favorite release during an antelope stalk. It was a thumb release and my backups were hinge and index releases. Neither draws and anchors like the thumb, so when I bought a new release and determined it was the right one, I immediately bought another of the same! I can lose the original and the backup is setup identical, so I don't miss a beat.
What are the canvas pouches you’re using to organize the different products? I’m always looking for the perfect size pouch to keep my kit organized and separate
Always items; light 7x7+ tarp, first aid but learn about it all, All tapes! Thanks, I use military fire starter but long burn is good when you need it in rain.
@bowhunter4954 he’s been hunting and guiding a lot of years and has hunted as a young man . Just because he shows gear doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a lot of knowledge. Everyone has to pay the bills and help out friends. Play nice
@bowhunter4954 Ok.. a day or 2 ? Here and there ? OR EVERYWHERE !! That shows you could not have possible watched their years of videos or even Google their names . That also tells me you are more than willing to exaggerat your 8 months a year in the woods.
This is the kind of mentality that leads you to a 50 pound pack weight. Probably half of this stuff is not needed. The best way to save weight is to not bring things it’s kind of insane that this guy is making videos and hasn’t figured that out yet
@@Terpedup925 my packs for a week long trip with food and water included are usually in the 65 to 80lbs range during gun season. And i dont bring hardly any of the stuff on his list, although i will add a rangefinder battery. I cant imagine adding anymore weight. They are good ideas though
He did say he recommends "if" your going on a certain type trip. Consider his recommendations, pick the ones that suit you & your trip. Leave the rest. Sheeesh.. use your noggins, guys.

Great information, thank you for sharing. We have purchased a lot of this gear, and cut our back pack weight down.

@bowhunter4954He’s killed more mature animals than you will in your entire life 🤣 you have no idea what you’re talking about
@bowhunter4954
Is that what you do use to spend months in the mountains?
Or would ?

Do you have this in a list format? Would benefit in description. Awesome info.
Ryan is one of the best
Great information
God's Blessings on all your adventures
One of the best hunters there is
Thanks Ryan, great vidio
What CBD do you recommend for the daily as well as the sleep aid?
I use full spectrum CBD. So many companies to choose from. I use our own brand from StHealthy nutrition. 50mg per day generally
Ryan, What brand and model is that solar panel?
That is the ryno tuff I got the same one. Got it on Amazon for $60
Ryno tuff👍
@@StHealthyHunter Right on, thanks!
What about the tarp? Brand?
@@Ridgeripper85 pretty sure it looked like the Seekoutside tarp
Good job
You liking that Grumman Lite?
I am. It’s a great mid season jacket
Ryan, what tarp was that in the video?
This was a Seek Outside Dyneema tarp
@@StHealthyHunter right on thanks for the reply!!
What boot dryers are you using
those ones that he's using are from Grakksaw
Grakksaw makes em
Thanks 🤙🏽
Those microspikes are money even just in snow on flat. You slip far less each step, and it adds up.
Do you recommend a quality alpine pant for an affordable price?
What tarp was that?
Ryan what boot dryer is that?
That is going to be the Grakksaw Backcountry Boot Dryer. It's amazing!
Wow, these comment guys 🤯 these items are pretty basic needed stuff, med kit , tarp , charger, water filtration, tape , what dont they get? 🤘🤩
🤷♂️
New peax gaiter color?
No unfortunately it’s not a new color. It’s the Standard green👍
Do you promise?
😂 well there may be a new color coming but I’ve not worn em yet
@@StHealthyHuntera desert tan or coyote (like what they look like in the video) would be so awesome
Is that the color grading in the video or did Peax make a new color gaiter?! sign me up.
It’s the green but well used 👍
Is that color gaiter out now they look tan
Range finder battery. Cost me a day to find that weird little batter. That will never happen again...
What sleeping bag is that?
The new Peax Solace 15. It actually just launched today but I’ve been testing the past 2 years
👍👍👍👍👍👍
when hunting in colorado we bring weed gummies for pain and sleep
If it works😂

No offense, but if you brought everything you might need, your pack would be too heavy to go back to these places
😂😂😂😂😂 these guys pack in 60-70lbs of gear (depending on how long the trip is) and then they pack out that along with meat.
I’d never recommend packing everything you might need, that would be ridiculous

@@StHealthyHunter its a game of trade offs, i get it. 90% of the gear in this list i find isnt for me personally although they are good ideas.
