Leading your horse. If you start at the saint denis stables your destination is the valentine stables. By the time you cross the bridge out of saint denis you be at lvl2 bonded. By the time you get to the stables south of emerald ranch you will be lvl 3 bonded. By the time you get to the valentine stables you will be at or super close to lvl4 bonded. Takes an hour with minimal distractions and its a easy walk.
When I bond horses, I do it from valentine to emerald ranch. Every now and then I'll stop to brush, feed, pat, and hitch the horse to a tree. Last time it took about 20-30min.
I just hunt and do normal things. Never go above a trot and you'll get the same bonding rate as leading as long as it's not carrying a carcass. Always hitch your horse and always manually remove large carcasses - you get bonding points for both. If your horse gets upset, *stop* and take the time to calm it - big points for that. Overall just do normal game stuff but concentrate on your horse during it and you'll bond nearly as fast as that long walk... but you'll have a done a lot of hunting or collecting etc.
Hell yeah. I like to kinda "collect" horses. Just like collecting cars in gtao, but 10 slots is just really not enough. There's already 5 Role horses, and so many pretty coats for the top tier horses.
Check out the Beaver Roper saddle in Special category. Aside from the extra stat on the Nacogdoches, all the other stats are better. Collector saddle isn't too shabby either.
too bad they are scared as fuck though. expensive, superscared evne when nothing is around and even at level 4. i have to calm this shit horse down every single time, and after every single time i do, its still scared. regardless of level bonding. man useless. mustang ftw. 500 bucks and 7 health and stamina, slightly slower than this turkoman. it almost never is scared unless near predators, where the turkoman again is always scared.
Excellent video as always. I like the chestnut one best as well. As many people have mentioned, Rockstar needs to address the stall issue. If they want us using money and gold, give us a place to store the horses we buy. It's especially bad because you can't sell a horse back, you just have to delete it. I've deleted two lower level horses already. ( Which admittedly hardly cost anything, but I liked them) I'm not doing it anymore..
this horse is AMAZING. I literally was on it 5 minutes and a black bear ran alongside me for a good 5 mins without the horse even flinching. It wasn't even level 1 bonded yet. We all know black bears generally run away and don't attack but many horses flip TF out anyway. At level 1, he mowed thru, I mean LITERALLY ran over 3 NPCs in an ambush. Level 2 it rolled over 2 full-size gators with nary a complaint. However, the ultimate test was snakes. At level 3 and 4, I walked it near then over snakes. Never bucked, never even flinched. IDK whether I won the 'temperament' lottery or if the horse is simply this brave as a rule. Either way, HIGHLY recommend.

Another easy way to bond with ur horse is set a waypoint and bring ur horse to a trot then turn on cinematic mode. It's not as fast as leading but u can do it without touching the controller

i have the Chestnut! its beautiful but cursed, my horse is a bullet magnet! enemies or players shooting at me seem to always hit this horse, i have revived it more than any of my other horses but i still love it!

Why does my turkoman horse buck me off if I get within 10ft of an alligator, and my silver klaudenruber can literally trample them to death and get close to bears, cougars and wolves without hardly flinching, it's true that bonding increase bravery but each horse has different base values, like my horse has max HP and Stamina pools and is brave but is also kinda slow, as the turkoman has less HP and Stamina and isn't that brave has great speed and handling
@@No_Man_Is_An_Island I have tested "bravery" with all of the max level role horses along with some of the high end horses like the turkoman and white arabian. I bought two of each horse, leveled one up to max bonding, but left the other one at level one bonding. I rode my horse directly into an alligator and the level 1 bonded horse would always buck me off. The level 4 horse, however, rode past it with no problem. This whole experiment was conducted over a 4 month period and cost a lot of money. 😎
@@no0btu63rscorner walking past and walking over are different, step on the alligator and see if it works, I have 3 lvl 4 bonded klaudenruber and 2 lvl 4 turkoman and can confirm one is braver than the other
I got the Chestnut but will go after the Perlino too. My Chestnut is such a scared kitty it even freaks out about a moving train,even it is not too close lol
I replaced a buckskin mustang with a new gray turkoman. The mustang was a pretty horse but clumsy. Ran into everything, hard to control, poor with predators. The turkoman has been awesome. Fast and graceful, let's me kill predators, solid in a fight. Totally different experience.
I’m actually happy the black horse costs gold bars , I bought it only because of that since not everyone will afford it and will buy the chestnut. So yeah , I have the black and chestnut but I will ride chestnut because I like it too. But maybe black more.
Your new horse is beautiful, they have really improved on horse appearance, coat sheen and markings. I wish we could use Pomade, or something on their coats, so they always shine and show all the gorgeous undertones. 🤠 🐴
Turkoman are super good, but my personal favorite horse is the silver klaudenruber, the only horse I've ever owned that can trample alligators to death and not buck me off before I get closer
I chose this horse too and the exact same colour mainly because I liked the look but also because that's what colour my previous horse the Arabian diff breed but I like to say his older brother because my ol Arabian had to retire but did me proud, ain't no doubt about that ✌🏽
Hey mate, Horse Bravery is REAL lol. Just try out an Arabian from the "Superior" range of horses. The bloody thing runs off at the first NPC gunshot, snakes, alligators, loud noises. ANYTHING. I'm constantly trying to get it to stay still to put my bounty on. Damn nuisance. Bravery is defintiely a thing. I'd love you to do a video on horse bravery because so far with the Arabian it is a NIGHTMARE and I can't see any bravery stats.! Especially for timed jobs... have fun running after it. :O
Never had a Turkoman. But based on reviews of horses done by you, I still think the Mustangs are better. Would rather have max Health, and Stamina, than a microscopic .whatever in extra speed. Just wish that there was a breed that didn't drop me like a bad habit the minute a cougar or 'gator was nearby.
Great horse. I've had the Dark Bay turk forever and it was my very first horse-core stable bug *cancer* horse. It went away when roles were introduced and we got more stable slots, but the bug now hits with any horse I add to my 10th slot, so basically aways in the *last* slot. R* has said they've fixed it again and again - it's never fixed. It'd been at least 5 months since I tried to add a horse to the 10th slot again and tried with this Chestnut Turk beauty. Same thing. So now I have another video game bug cancer patient horse. Poor guy. I gave up opening tickets for these sorts of things.... so now i just stick with a sick horse til I get tired of looking at it and discard it.
I heard that right after buying a horse using the 10th stable, before you go out with the horse, you should go to services and give him that special treatment, the one that gives the horses the golden cores. This kinda tricks the bug and the horse will not have that cancer problem anymore. I’m not sure if it really works, but you can try...

I've tried that many times (among many, many, many other things - i've wasted vast amounts of money troubleshooting) in the past and did so again this time around. It makes the horse fine for a while, but as soon as you fast-travel or do anything else where the horse must respawn into the game, it's cores are empty again.
@@joaogvc I finally fixed my stables completely for the first time in 2 years. I discarded the last 3 horses that I'd purchased before Frontier Pursuits and rebought them. All 10 slots have been bug free ever since. It sucked (they were all gold-bought horses) but it worked.
The best horse so far it's the kladruber(for me). I also did some test to, fire, shotguns, ambushes and go to a little island in the swamp lagras sorround of aligators and call for the horse(in this one). So far, the kladruber was the only one who came to me. Maybe i get lucky with him. And don't forget, full of hp.
Horse stamina cannot be replenished during some delivery missions like mail delivery. I know it’s not often, but stamina can make or break a delivery when it does come up.
1:00 Wrong, it's not. Walking it around like a chump and acting like you're walking a pet and got nothing better to do is ol' hat. It was then, it still is now. The best way, the fastest way, which even gets you somewhere, instead of playing Ring around the Rosie, is simply to ride the horse no faster than a trot and feed it mint or sugar. There is no faster way to "bond" with these cantankerous, unruly, pesky "horses". We measured it per fed sweet, per 30 secs, per minute and so on and compared it back and forth with all the other methods. End of story. Long time ago. Btw., riding is what those critters are there for.
I've always stuck with the gold Turkoman both story and online. Looking at the stats now and all turkomans have the same stats just depends on which one you like best
Arabian has better acceleration and handling. Turk has more health. They're both really good. But Arabians will throw u off and run to the next town so u have to keep it calm around predators and flee it if u get off during a gunfight. Its still my favorite horse tho, its the handling for me

I did it from blackwater to valentine and it was the same pretty much. Only issue I ran into was some guy shooting dynamite arrows at me.
or you can equip the nacogdoches saddle and forget bonding levels ever existed. unless you really really want to unlock the moves which are meh

Leading is faster than anything else. 24 points leading compared to 5 to 7 for the rest. Every 18 seconds it counts up.
We need more stable slots, it’s getting real hard to choose horses..

Perlino actually exists in real life. It is called Akhal- Teke. A Turkmen horse. Beautiful!

@@joaogvc I finally fixed my stables completely for the first time in 2 years. I discarded the last 3 horses that I'd purchased before Frontier Pursuits and rebought them. All 10 slots have been bug free ever since. It sucked (they were all gold-bought horses) but it worked.
The best horse so far it's the kladruber(for me). I also did some test to, fire, shotguns, ambushes and go to a little island in the swamp lagras sorround of aligators and call for the horse(in this one). So far, the kladruber was the only one who came to me. Maybe i get lucky with him. And don't forget, full of hp.
Horse stamina cannot be replenished during some delivery missions like mail delivery. I know it’s not often, but stamina can make or break a delivery when it does come up.

1:00 Wrong, it's not. Walking it around like a chump and acting like you're walking a pet and got nothing better to do is ol' hat. It was then, it still is now. The best way, the fastest way, which even gets you somewhere, instead of playing Ring around the Rosie, is simply to ride the horse no faster than a trot and feed it mint or sugar. There is no faster way to "bond" with these cantankerous, unruly, pesky "horses". We measured it per fed sweet, per 30 secs, per minute and so on and compared it back and forth with all the other methods. End of story. Long time ago. Btw., riding is what those critters are there for.

Chestnut color is so cool
I’ve had a dark bay Turkoman since I reached the rank requirement and he’s still my favorite horse by far
I've always stuck with the gold Turkoman both story and online. Looking at the stats now and all turkomans have the same stats just depends on which one you like best
Gold turkoman is the worst looking horse man it just looks so unreal like idk it’s coat just looks fake

Can u do a comparison between the black turk vs the black Arabian?
Arabian has better acceleration and handling. Turk has more health. They're both really good. But Arabians will throw u off and run to the next town so u have to keep it calm around predators and flee it if u get off during a gunfight. Its still my favorite horse tho, its the handling for me
