The best horse in game is a free horse. Wait until Rockstar feels generous and gives out vouchers in game for a free horse, that's how I picked up a top tier Fox Trotter for $free.99.
Please can anyone help, I played a story mission on PS4 and I allowed another player to ride my horse during the mission, after the mission I respawn with my horse but my saddle doesn't work!? Help 😥
Right now I’m using the black Kladruber, at level 2 bonding he stood his ground against a pack of wolves. He trampled 2 of them and didn’t budge when the last two were circling him. Named him Midnight.
I've been really happy with my Norfolk Roadster. He's both big and fast and has a good temperament. I do a LOT of collecting so I need a fast horse with great stamina.
I saw the title and length of the video and went into it expecting to dislike the content shown. But you did a phenomenal job from beginning to end of explaining everything and breaking it down. Now you make me wanna clear a stable slot and get a shire again. thanks
A lot of people don't enjoy games. They just rush through them. Taking your time and noticing all the little details is the way to play beautiful games like this.
@@Ares2501 I hear that! I have a buddy who got RDO and played it for2 maybe 3 weeks before he got bored and quit. He rushed up to level 50+ and was grinding away to get money and gold and burned out very fast. I take my time. I have certain things I enjoy doing in game, primarily hunting and the occasional stranger mission or random encounter or story missions when I have friends online to help with (I refuse to go with a random group.) I've been playing longer than my buddy and I am still only around level 35 or so. I do not care to grind levels, cash, or gold. That ruins it for me. I love this channel because CEOFoxtrot is pointing out things that I as a casual gamer and RPer really like about this game.
Funnily enough, this was one of my first horses.. so glad to see it recommended. I loved plowing through the competition in pvp races.. it is a hidden gem and a tank of a horse!
I wish they added a place to go jumping with your horse and stuff and maybe breeding to get even better horses and train them and 5 red dead days for it to grow it would be great for ppl who rp or just normal players...ID LIKE IT
@C.Tailor The horses are vital as hell, if you're one of those people who will be dicks about people having ideas for more immersive features, just shut up dude
Honestly, in online at least, I don't think bravery plays too much of a role once you're bonded. I've done circles around bears, gators, and wolves without being bucked. I think the only time I've been bucked was during an ambush.
im so glad my criollo is so calm, have ran straight into alligators and shes handled it way better than most other criollos ive seen, definitely not as brave as my mustang but i cant really complain
@@angrysocialjusticewarrior I have the black Arabian, but was looking at other interesting horses. So does a 40 gold horse count as premium???? Understand the context before you shit post.
Historically though, there wasn’t many of them at the time of Red Dead Redemption. That’s why they’ve added breeds like Roadsters (a now extinct breed but a horse of the time) and Turkomans (another extinct breed similar to the Akhal Teke) because they do their best to keep things accurate for the time. In the mid to late 1800s Friesians had nearly disappeared, and the majority were crossed with heavy Warmbloods like Oldenburgs and Ostfriesians (collectively called Bovenlanders). There were just 3 friesian stallions, there is no way our characters could get their hands on them. The closest would could get would be a Bovenlander x Friesian.
I think they messed up by not adding a quarter horse. I could see it being like a 7 speed horse but with max acceleration. It would be cool if they had a Sorrel, Palomino, and maybe either a bay or grey dapple.
Just got mine today, restarted my character last night, after 5 years of playing, I like it, feels fresh and have stuff to do lol I grinded to level 15 and grabbed the brown bay, called him 'Moose' will be my only horse in the game
2:40 Draft horses have what we equestrians call "feathers" around their hooves. Friesians have them, certain pony breeds have them and of course a lot of drafts. Tinkers (one name for the breed) can have very long and "full" feathers that you can actually braid.
I was riding around on a Breton but just recently got a Shire. Light gray to go with my outfit, and I absolutely LOVE him! He's called ghost, and the sound of his hooves on the dirt sounds like thunder ⛈️
My experience was different. In story mode I rode a lot of different horses to max bonding and I kept Raven Black Shire for the entire game. I was expecting it wouldn't be skittish since it's so huge but I felt like it was far more reactive to predators than most other horses I rode. I also could not rely on it to outrun any pursuers from random event ambushes and that one mission, where you are supposed to chase Mary's brother on horseback? I failed it because he actually lost me. On the contrary, American Standardbred? Amazing, loved that mare, never failed me. Same with Arabians, they are ugly and tiny but I did love the handling and never experienced bravery issues people keep talking about. I was off-roading on the swamps on them many times, reliable as ever. Only one "premium" horse I found to be awful and skittish and that was John's Thoroughbred, Racheal. Proceeded to try two other horses in the epilogue and eventually settled on the Tiger Striped Mustang - those have feathers around their legs, too, they look neat, are medium sized and this specific one is slightly faster than other variants, putting it in the "reliable" category. Great horse, even if not the fastest. But then, that's all anecdotal and, well... I've seen some compelling evidence that "hidden bravery stat" for horses simply does not exist, at least not in form people think of it. It would require to do a lot of testing to get more comprehensive results, not just a very specific handful of situations and behaviors, but from what other guy presented, every horse will run away if someone other than you shoots within certain distance from it, every horse will buck you if predator roars at it (which not every predator can and gators are some of ones that don't) and every horse will not buck you if predator capable of roaring roars at different target. After that happens, that cougar can't roar again and you can just ride around it like it's nothing. Good for you for liking the Shires though! They are super cool looking :D
@Tarakona Great information and I actually agree with you. Every horse certainly caters to each player’s playing style of course. This “Shire” video is saying that the Shire is the “(best well rounded) horse for only $120”... similar to the bolt action rifle being the (best well rounded rifle) in the game. Again, great share!!! 😁👍🏼👍🏼
@@ceofoxtrot for reference, if you wanna see the details, here is video I was talking about: th-cam.com/video/Px3HuVaeYsA/w-d-xo.html Misremembered the bit about gators not being able to roar, it's only small ones, the big ones can. Anyway, good watch, he lays out his case pretty nicely and concisely. And yeah, I agree that Shire is a cool starting horse. Shame it's rank locked in Online - to low tens I believe but it should be available from the beginning. Started playing Online recently and took advantage of Multiclass horse sale to quickly upgrade from crappy Morgan to one of new Mustangs. On sale it was a moderate and achievable price for a horse that caters to all of my free roam needs.
I have seen my MFT getting scared of snakes yard away and I have seen my Arabian standing put in front of wolf and bears. Its totally different, 2 of the same horses will act differently in the same situation.
yes, you are right, even i rode different horses in RDO, and trust me, every horse is a bit diferent and you notice that when you ride it for a long time, handling, temaprament, scaring out from predators, gun shots, everything is minutely adjusted...only the speed factor they talk about is like somewhat correct, upto the context, but character wise, everythings different, and yes, some expensive horses are better, but you have to be that good and responsive about it to notice!
I do that too, always name my horses after Western actors or characters. Currently have a Mustang called Clint, a Turkoman called Colonel Mortimer and a Shire called Sabata.
Great video! I discovered the Shire during in Story mode and I’ve been a fan ever since! Loco (my Shires name) is my hunting horse for the very reasons you’ve pointed out. I’ve had animals like wolves run directly under it and he still held fast!
Deleted mine. I had the white shire and even fully bonded it was the most skittish horse I've ever seen. The golden turkoman is the calmest one I have. I think it's just chance rather than the breed
I’m glad you made a video about this. I have a nice fast horse and it will throw me at the first sign of bear or cougars. Literally the second the red dot shows, it launches me and bolts. My sisters cheap horse couldn’t give a crap about em. Made me start looking into it and I found this.
@DocShaw I deleted all of my fast horses for the exact same reason. I’m not saying that players should delete their fast horses because they are highly needed for bounty hunting and what not... but they definitely have a downside to them in my opinion. Great feedback! 😁👍🏼
Trust me, shire horses are just as incredible in real life, and so so massive, by next year, I aim to have my own. In the game, I already ride one called Major :)
Brother, I have enjoyed your videos so much. They have made me think about the game in an entirely new and fresh way. I think that I enjoy the game much more now than I did before watching your excellent videos. I really hope you keep it up! I have watched many of your videos multiple times and I feel like I learn something new, or at least see a different facet of the game each time. I don't role play quite as much as you seem to, but I truly enjoy incorporating it a little into my decisions. I particularly enjoyed the imagination video, that one was game changing, so to speak. I have never even considered subscribing to anyone before but after the imagination video you did I smashed the crap out of that button! Please keep them coming!
@Bird Person Aww man bird… I appreciate you so much!!! I put a whole lot of work into these videos, so thank you so much for letting me know that these videos are actually making a difference! Thanks for your amazing feedback and for smashing that sub button pal!!! 😁👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🤍🤍🤍
I've been playing since the release on pc, I play the game as one who is actually alive during the era that's depicted. I've never utilized any mods and or done a single solitary micro transaction. In addition to what I've already spent in gold and money have an excess of 100 gold bars and close to a hundred thousand dollars. I've only acepted three of the now 5 roles and have a specific horse for each. One of which is a Shire. And it serves the role I utilized it for, far better than any horse I've attempted to utilize previously. ANY and ALL horses regardless WILL buck you off if and when the prey animal roars.
I've only been playing since Sept so fairly new. I bought a white (grey?) Shire I named "Queen Bee" as a second horse! I loved her so much, but as I grew better at the fighting, bounty hunting, missions I found her somewhat lumbering. I bought Night, my black American Standardbred, and he runs like Secretariat. I've another horse Rocky (my first) who gets little attention these days. Night throws me 50% of the time, mostly when wolves attack. I've learned to jump off before that happens. I feel close to my horses which may be a bit unhealthy. 🤠🐎
I just stick to the Appaloosa, it stands it ground under pressure. However every horse has its good and bad traits. Every player have their own choice. Enjoy
I like to use the Criollo but occasionally I'll use my Dutch Warmblood or my Breton. The Dutch Warmblood isn't the fastest but dang does it look good with that Sooty Buckskin and it's actually kind of brave. Surprisingly the Breton is a bit of a pussy. It's a horse that's supposed to specialize in taking in hostile bounty targets yet when I'm getting shot at or a cougar is sighted the damn thing just hightails it out of there. It's like "Okay I guess you're all muscular and you sound badass for nothing"
I have a Kentucky horse got it at start, i started the game 2 weeks ago and I am lvl 32, the horse is great at lvl 4 bonding, i only get bounced now only by cougars, but other than that is great, looses a lot of stamina on snow north of Grizzlies. I think bonding and a good saddle turns every horse into a gem
It is so good to see the shire finally get some recognition! I played from Chapter 2 to chapter 6 with the raven black Shire - it was the best boy. I encountered cougars more than once in Roanoak Ridge, all of them killed on horseback (more like Shire-back). I also owned the Sooty Buckskin Dutch Warmblood. It was fast, damn it was, but it was the scariest horse ever, it was annoying. I could not get through the bridges in Saint Denis without being thrown off his back beacuse of the alligators under it. Shire did not failed me once, 10/10 horsey
Lol damn didnt know you could have several horses. Spent like 3000$ on clothes, nothing on upgradees, didnt wanna get a new horse cause we bonded now, his name is Ice T and we been thru thick and thin together, i thought they was gonna put him down if i got a new one and im not ready for that yet... Lol but looks like he gonna be chillin in tha stable eatin carrots and whatnot, he deserve it.
I still have me, but had to discard the Ardennes that was free as needed stable space back then, and had another horse. I now own 7, but 2 turkomans I own, one is free and the other was half price. I own missouri foxtrotter too the top one, but I love the look of the level 20 Bretton.
Yes I had that same horse from the beginning and I love it 🥰 I just recently brought the one horse from the moonshine business I forgot what it’s called but he had it in his video. And once u get the bonding up and put the right stirrups on it and saddle it’s perfect
I wish I'd seen this before. When I started out, I was tempted to buy a Shire - I adore big horses with feathered feet. LOL I got scared off by the "Heavy" handling tag, because I wasn't sure what that would amount to. Now, in the 70s for level, I spent a long time riding the bay roan Ardennes and absolutely love it. Not the fastest, but rock solid and calm as anything. I've tried the Turkoman and deeply regretted that, it was just too prone to tossing me on my backside at any excuse despite full bonding. I recently got the strawberry roan Ardennes but honestly, I'm not noticing a major difference from the bay roan (and I like the bay roan coat better). Admittedly, I tend to prefer spending my time roaming around the map admiring Tesla's tower and the Serpent Mound and the scenery and all, collecting enough to cover expenses, rather than anything dramatic or demanding. But quite possibly, if I'd seen this video before and bought a Shire right at the beginning, I never would have gotten as far as my Ardennes. PS, love the videos! Always good to see someone else who enjoys the little things that make the game special, rather than just one more shooting game. Give Prysmcat and IndieDiva a wave if you see us meandering around the map sometime. :-D
@prysmcat Great share which is definitely very helpful to other players with the similar situation!! And big shout out to Prysmcat and IndieDiva... I’ll be looking for you!!! 🤩👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I know this is an old comment. But I have the Turk, I won’t lie and say I’ve NEVER been thrown off, but it’s a fuck ton less frequent than other scenarios and player testimonies I’ve seen. Is courage randomized?
I have the Missouri Fox Trotter, and I regularly take her bear and cougar hunting and she holds her ground and seems less skidish than other horses my Fox trotter stood toe to toe with a grizzly bear today when it ran straight at me and I was able to shoot it and my hose barely flinched although I do get buck off every now and then plus the Missouri Fox trotter has the the right amount of speed and over all endurance and I chose the one with the grey and white pattern, which to me looks amazing
I was fairly convinced until the end. My red chestnut Arabian doesn’t even Buck me off when we get close to a Group of gators in the swamp area. I don’t even need to call him down.
I just picked up RDR2 and been playing the online for 9 days straight and I just found your channel great videos and love the roleplaying aspect that you have similar to what I do it’s nice to watch someone that has a similar view liked and subbed.
@JmackKiller09 Love the feedback! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 If that’s your style, before you buy a bunch of cool guns, horses, outfits and camp comforts with your new money online, rather “save up” for the “Trader” and “Collector” roles first and get the upgraded tools needed for those roles, keep those roles operational at all times, and you’ll earn money for all of the cool things that you want while your roles continue to make more money. Most new players online work the system backwards and wonder why it takes forever to grow their money up. Hope that helps!
@@ceofoxtrot right now im doing bounty hunter and the collector I have around 2K saved up for the saddles and horses doing them both till I get the trader.
I have one...the naturalist update turned him into a scared idiot. I have a different horse now....until the next update does the same to him and I gotta get the next new one
I got the white one. Mainly because I kept the raven black one at story mode. The white was my first online purchase. That and my Breton never let me dow.
This was excellent. I love my Turkoman, Chief. When I started online I had a coupon for a free horse. I chose this breed for its calmness. Fully bonded, Chief will keep me onboard with a cougar, or wolf under his feet. He has limits. If I don't kill the predator in a reasonable time off I go. Cheers, BR
I agree that shires are wonderful and hecking chonkers- however I didn’t notice the speed until I started riding with a posse, when everyone zooms ahead on the missions and I miss a portion of the action. I do like these horses when I’m exploring solo, though.
@Orion’s Arrow Yeah that’s true. There are situations in the game when “fast” horses are definitely necessary. I play (solo) most of the time at a more normal pace, so I personally don’t usually need the speed very often. Great share! 😁👍🏼
Great video! I hope that if there is ever a RD3, that the developers give us more detail abilities in our horse's and what we can do with them. They (to me) are 50% of the game. I would have much rather had the choice to catch and train a horse, or pay to have it trained, and as I bond, level up the horse for specific duties. One for bounties, one for roles, pvp, missions and so on, Or keep one horse that cost me in some way to level up in areas of my choice. I would also have rather had the saddle of choice that I can level up to a high point. It could have been a win win for both developers and players.
I gave the shire an honest attempt for you man, I really did. When I switched back to my economy Arabian the difference was night and day, it was a lot easier to chase down animals and bounties alike. Those missions where closing the gap quickly can be the difference between success and failure seem to happen a lot to me.
@TeslaRifle I appreciate you giving the Shire a chance. I do know the Shire isn’t for every player. The Shire is just a very reliable $120 horse IMO. But definitely not one of the fastest horses. I respect your feedback and I do appreciate the share. 😁👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
There is this one mail delivery mission that I never am able to get to all four drop off points. I've come close a few times, but have always run out of time before the last drop. What is a good, cheap, low level horse that does not require level 10+ in a role?
@@TeslaRifle Thank you for the response. I might need to check that one out. My buddy had one, though and said it was very skittish. But, it could be good for those missions where speed is a must have.
They are big beautiful horses Indeed. I use a dark bay shire in story mode as my secondary horse for hunting. Ride as my main horse as well. Bravery is random and two of the same breeds can act differently. But the shire should not be ignored. Massive size and beautiful !
ive been a shire rider since i got the game around launch. i got my raven black shire in story mode and my dark bay in online. theyre trusty mounts and ive never had issues keeping up with the foxtrotter my posse member has. I absolutely love my shires and will always pick them
I've hunted grizzlies and gators on horseback on my Shire, she gets nervous but does not buck me off. I've an Andalusian as well, but he bucks me off at every little thing - some "War Horse"! With the Nacogdoches saddle to balance her out, she's outrun and kept pace just fine with the other premium horses in my posse. My Shire is an absolute tank that can face down anything, and I know I can gallop out of danger with her no problem.
I own ten horses, I'd have 20 if they made the stables available, and I rarely notice a difference whichever which one I'm using. I prefer the lighter more delicate horses for looks, the big meaty ones just don't fit my character. I just choose the color I want for that day's play, and only switch if my horse gets stuck and cant come when I whistle. PvPCat did a video recently testing temperament (or skittishness), and his conclusion was there is no set difference between any of the breeds. Similarly speed, if you race from St Denis to Tumbleweed it's only a matter of seconds difference between the fastest horses and the slowest. For health, maybe a lighter horse takes fewer hits before going down, but I rarely put my horse in a situation where it's getting shot at. Finally stamina, more might be useful when your horse is swimming a long distance, but that's a rare situation.
@@ok8205 If I had to choose only 1 horse, I'd have a Chestnut Turkoman. Put a Nacadoches saddle and hooded stirrups on with collector saddlebags, and you're set. The Turkoman is tall and that can give you a great viewpoint for hunting, and it's got great stats all round.
I have a ton of horses and yeah love the Shire bc their composure n how they look like Clydesdale (Im a Scot so Im biased). I know they do videos saying theyre all the same in skittishness but I see a huge difference in breeds. Arabians are REALLY jittery. Not worth a lick, except when I first started the Beta of RDO they gave you one for free. Once I had $ I changed. They freak out all the time. The Gypsy Cobb is the least skittish of the premium ones and isnt phased by legendary animals in the slightest! its only certain predators (gators, wolves) where I notice a difference.
That is really a surprise. 🙂 But that is something that R* made very well that the horses are that good balanced. I never had a Shire. But my friends told me that the Shire was clumsy and they let them free (deleted). After more than two years and many hours my prefered two horses at the moment are: - new Turkomen: look best in my opinion. Not too shy when you often push L3 (on PS4) - Ardennes: big and act like a tank. They even walk over crocodiles. My favorite horse around Lagras
I also own both shires on RDO. The dark bay is called BIG BEN and the light grey is called SADIE. But the one I REALLY want is the Raven Black shire from the story mode. The one Hosea gets at the beginning of the game at Valentine.
I love Shires sooo much in real life, but I've been hesitant to get one online because of the stats. Your video changed my mind, and I'll definitely be buying a shire! I want other of the big guys, once I get my role ranks up, but I think the shire would be fun to do solo stuff with and my trading role!
The Turkoman that you can buy spooks SO easy it's ridiculous. Ended up selling it and found a blood bay arabian out in the wild that is fast with elite handling and never spooks.
In real life, I learned to ride on Shires and Clydesdales as a tiny seven year old girl. They're the absolute best. Rockstar really nailed their personality traits in the game.
Wow, decided to give it a try, and it was spot on, once bonded this horse is awesome, one of my favorites now, it is a huge sturdy beast, good stuff-THANKS
I like to role-play and explore, but I also like to do most of the available Daily Challenges each day, and for that, I prefer a strong horse that can run non-stop at top speed to get the Challenges done quickly. To achieve this, you need a horse that is fully bonded, has 100% health and 100% stamina with the Nacogdoches Saddle and Hooded Stirrups, or the Upland Saddle. I think the Buckskin Mustang and the Black Overo Mustang are two of the best looking horses in Red Dead Online, and either one will work fine for this. The Upland Saddle is the best (unmodified) saddle in the game, however when you add the Hooded Stirrups to the Nacogdoches Saddle, the combined stats make the Nacogdoches Saddle the best available. In addition, if you use the Collector's Saddlebags, you can carry two additional outfits on your horse for role-playing. Unfortunately, you cannot change the stirrups or saddlebags on the Upland Saddle.
Man, I just got started on rdo, first found your channel while looking for trader tips, and let me say, your content is so relevant, so well made, just next level, cheers. Im still using the first horse we get, I'll buy this one :3
I got the Arabians, the black and the white. They look like ponies but run like lightning and they are brave enough for the game. Handling is extremely good. I’m just concerned about their size, however I will try more hoses, thanks for the video.
My Cirollo never gives me any issues with bucking. I may have found a glitch or exploit. I just turned slowly while the animal is behind you and shoot at the legendary animal or alligator and I never get bucked off. Also if you run the Card slow and steady and activate it while on the horse you’ll never get bucked off.
I'm relatively new to the game, so when I decided to upgrade from my starter horse, I was still only around level 20 and did not have any role leveled up enough to even qualify to buy the fancy horses. So, what did I chose? Well, when multi-role horses came on sale a couple weeks ago, I purchased a low level black Kludruber (or however that is spelled.) I spent maybe $200RDO on it, plus the stable and I just got the Nacodoches saddle- in black and red. (I still cannot get specialty role saddles; I'm currently a level 6 trader, but only level one in the other roles.) I also upgraded the stirrups, though only a little, to the iron stirrups. My horse is relatively fast for the level and breed (obviously nothing comparted to the super fast 'end-game' breeds,) and has a fair bit of stamina. She does not spook easily, though she does get nervous around certain predators. I like Nightfall a lot. She seems to be a decently well rounded horse that I can use when hunting or doing stranger missions and that is what I was looking for. I could use a faster horse for some specific mission types where speed is paramount, for for all around use, I love my girl.
Since you are new and in future if u getting a new horse, and then trying to discard your old horse then make sure to change the saddle to a cheap one before discarding the horse, as you can lose your expensive saddle while discardinf a horse.
@@GothicElf68 there is free horse and free stable in game. Check your benefits section , and if you on ps4 maybe you also have the red Arabian and the Ardennes which was free for all ps4 players at the start of online.

Right now I’m using the black Kladruber, at level 2 bonding he stood his ground against a pack of wolves. He trampled 2 of them and didn’t budge when the last two were circling him. Named him Midnight.

For real. Just discovered ceo, exactly what I needed to get back into rdo. So chill and appreciate in his videos.

@Rocksmith I mean that's your opinion , it would be a fun way to make money
The fur over the hoof is called feathers
Honestly, in online at least, I don't think bravery plays too much of a role once you're bonded. I've done circles around bears, gators, and wolves without being bucked. I think the only time I've been bucked was during an ambush.
im so glad my criollo is so calm, have ran straight into alligators and shes handled it way better than most other criollos ive seen, definitely not as brave as my mustang but i cant really complain

@@73N5H1 Care to explain?
That's why you're here?
Bro, I really don't want to hurt your feelings or anything but... Scrawny Nag does not make you a premium horse owner.
@@angrysocialjusticewarrior I have the black Arabian, but was looking at other interesting horses. So does a 40 gold horse count as premium???? Understand the context before you shit post.
I wish the added the Frisian horse 😩
I would be all over that.
I LOVE FRESIAN HORSES! In the story, I even kept my eye out for them but they sadly don’t have them 😞 I hope they make them in online at some point...
@@w00llymammif Im thinking the same.... im saving some slots in case rockstar decides to add some more horses and coats color
Saddles and equipment will also boost a horses stats making shire amazing because the equipment is expensive but it’s cheap

@Maria Lindell
Awesome info!!!
I love horses that have those feathers… I think it’s kinda fly LOL!
😁👍🏼🤍🤍🤍
@Tarakona
Great information and I actually agree with you.
Every horse certainly caters to each player’s playing style of course.
This “Shire” video is saying that the Shire is the “(best well rounded) horse for only $120”... similar to the bolt action rifle being the (best well rounded rifle) in the game.
Again, great share!!!

@@ceofoxtrot for reference, if you wanna see the details, here is video I was talking about: th-cam.com/video/Px3HuVaeYsA/w-d-xo.html
Misremembered the bit about gators not being able to roar, it's only small ones, the big ones can.

There’s been a test that warhorses and races have no difference in how easy they get spooked.

My Blue Roan fox trotter is super chill. Idk man. Also got it for free cause of the rewards thingy for players under lvl 40.

I deleted all of my fast horses for the exact same reason.
I’m not saying that players should delete their fast horses because they are highly needed for bounty hunting and what not... but they definitely have a downside to them in my opinion.

I saw this at the beginning of the game and then I saw one on a carrage and I was like oh my God I’m taking that because of this video
@William Guy Thilgen Jr.

your horse is all to preference really. i like the shire. i had almost max stat thoroughbred but the shire just feels really nice. stop hating guys.
All horses get scared at the same time as others, but some will last longer than others before bucking u off in my personal view
I just stick to the Appaloosa, it stands it ground under pressure. However every horse has its good and bad traits. Every player have their own choice. Enjoy
It’s the
Saddle that matters
My roadster and Breton don’t get spooked just like the shire doesn’t but my fox trotter and thoroughbred brindle do
I love the Breton horse and you’re right it don’t get spooked at all
It is so good to see the shire finally get some recognition! Shire did not failed me once, 10/10 horsey
the new fox trotters are my new favourite because the new coats are realistic and dont ruin imirsion plus the stats are good too
Currently I have a maxed out mustang but he always gets scared by snakes so I may need to invest in one of these horses

It’s really a great reliable horse!

My Norfolk Roadster has never bucked me, and neither has my Breton.
What the best horse??
@@ok8205 If I had to choose only 1 horse, I'd have a Chestnut Turkoman. Put a Nacadoches saddle and hooded stirrups on with collector saddlebags, and you're set. The Turkoman is tall and that can give you a great viewpoint for hunting, and it's got great stats all round.
I have a ton of horses and yeah love the Shire bc their composure n how they look like Clydesdale (Im a Scot so Im biased). Wow, decided to give it a try, and it was spot on, once bonded this horse is awesome, one of my favorites now, it is a huge sturdy beast, good stuff-THANKS
@Ed B

The black shire is my favorite horse in the game along with black turkoman and black overo mustang
You Literally making me make a new account with a female character with a horse like this to see the height difference 😭
Awesome!!!

Man, I just got started on rdo, first found your channel while looking for trader tips, and let me say, your content is so relevant, so well made, just next level, cheers. Im still using the first horse we get, I'll buy this one :3
I have a level 4 bonded mustang and he behaves the same as Big Scout when around alligators/danger..
Yeah Michael, yeah I heard that the Mustangs are also awesome horses to own!
😉👍🏼
I got the Arabians, the black and the white. They look like ponies but run like lightning and they are brave enough for the game. Handling is extremely good. I’m just concerned about their size, however I will try more hoses, thanks for the video.
I'm a new players, would this be a good first horse?
@Here for the Vibes
Absolutely! 👍🏼
I could use a faster horse for some specific mission types where speed is paramount, for for all around use, I love my girl.
get a mustang...I don't think they are level locked, but not 100% on that...not too much money either( unless you want the black overo)
@@hankscorpion Thank you for the suggestion. I'll have to look into this and compare between the Mustang and the Arabian.
@@reddevil1540 Yes, I have recently seen the free horse and stable in my benefits. However, I am still trying to decide which horse top spend them on.
