Damn straight it would! Best time riding a donkey was doing a bounty hunt with my friends in a posse, me wearing a sombrero and poncho, riding el burro into a bunch of enemies and flicking dynamite left and right while my friends watched and went "what the hell is he doing?? OMG he made it thru!" hehehe. Then I had to let poor little donkey go. For no saddle it had insanely good stamina, imagine with a full-on saddle and stirrups that lil donkey would never stop!
Always manage to get a “that’s what she said” joke in there and I respect it

A few new Mustang variants were added in the 1.26 update in December 2020, with better stats than the other mustangs (full health and stamina stats). The Red Dun Overo Mustang is the best looking IMO
Yeah I love those mustangs so much that I'll even forgive their tiny size. The new coats look awesome. Hope they do the same for other redundant horse breeds to make them cool again.
Black one is best imo.

I hate how small the Arabian is, but as someone who usually rides around at top speed, she's golden for taking tight turns in crowded areas like Saint Denis. I wish they'd come out with more coats for the Roadster too. 🙏

Riding an arabian is like riding a pony while my character is at his 30s and bigger than the horse itself

@@debjitmondal1892 I'm pretty sure its an Arabian. Remember, Dutch's horse has a unique coat. You can't get the Albino coat. If you take a look closely, Dutch's horse is the size of an Arabian. He named his horse "The Count". Check the link if you don't believe me.

@@ryanli8371 You are correct, Dutch’s horse is a unique Albino Arabian. It is physically the same as the White Arabian, but is a even lighter shade and instead has pink skin instead of black. I always laughed at how small Dutch’s horse was compared to say Hosea’s

I wouldn't waste gold on an Arab though. The Mustang is just as fast and half the price of other lvl 70 horses.

This quick RDO content was really refreshing. Every other channel is just stretching the summer update content like crazy, making videos out of null topics, and dragging out longer than normal videos. It's quite sad and a testament to how the lack of announcements or news from R* is not healthy for the community.
The new black Turkomen is like the most expensive thing in the game but looks absolutely beautiful. Best horse for me.

I think the steel gray Breton looks the best for me, Just love the color of it and the horse itself has nice proportions, it’s like a shire,mustang, and foxtrotter combined.

I've been riding a Suffolk Punch recently, nice looking horse; I do however wish they'd add more coats to some specific breeds and also provide the Quarter Horse, to me it seems fairly silly that one of the most famous breeds of the period is not in the game as of yet
Proportion focussed i really think Andalusian have such a nice body shape, with this big muscular round neck. I love it!
The chestnut Turkoman is my favorite, then shire, and then the standardbred palomino dapple.

Yeah I think for people who voted arabians it's all just about the colours. If you want a classic all-black or all-white horse then your options are surprisingly limited. There's a few others but not many are totally black/white like arabians are.

I like it how people have completely different tastes when it comes to horses. The missouri and the turcoman are my favorites just because they look “like how a normal horse should look”. On the other hand my friend prefers the big draft horses and I hate them.

I think most people choose the arabian just because it's categorized by it's own as "superior" if it was categorized as "riding" or "race" along others it would not be as popular. If they put for example shire or kladruber as "superior category" by its own I think most people would have choose them instead because the fancy title.

My favourite horse is the Black Chestnut Thoroughbred. Not only is this horse a huge flex because it's only available for ultimate addition players it also has such a pretty coat. Not to mention it's one of the biggest horses on the game with full speed and race handling as long as you use the Nacodoches saddle!
The Breton steel gray is FANTASTIC
Eh it's too small and disproportionate to be cool looking.
My absolute favorite horse that I own in all my story mods play through and in online is the Brindle Thoroughbred. I totally understand it does look like the Arabians legs are about to break.
I've had the Red, White, Black, and Rose Grey purebred Arabians. I've loved each and every one of them. Definitely my favorite
I got the cheapest red chestnut arabian because of speed & handling and i love it its a beauty
The White Arabian is my favorite horse in the game, probably in real life too
Turkoman is my number 1 choice because of the perfect balance between the looks (I personally think it's the best-looking horse in the game) and the bonuses it has (even though those bonuses don't work at all). And about the looks, it has that one option with a mix of a brown and black colour, and I really really love it. Looks beautiful in the sone.
Brown Leopard Appaloosa is absolutely stunning with a wet coat and the sun shinning.
Side note: My Shire's name is Dwayne Johnson.
I'm a Shire man myself, I live in the Shire (Yorkshire) and I'm 6'3 so I've looked daft on most horses I've mounted so I take that into the game and only go shire horses, they are the only ones I dont look like a clown on.. also because of a guy called Gypsy Joe, maybe other Yorkies will know of him
Easiest but most common choice is the Silver Dapple Pinto Missouri Fox Trotter. Its common, but this horse is hella pretty.
I thought that, bought it, but I really don't like it now...idky it just looks 'off'
Just bought a Gypsy Cob, finally, and it was a toss-up between the MFT or marble sabino criollo to discard to make way...got rid of the criollo but I think I'm going to trade in the MFT as well, lol

I personally dont like small horses. Arabians, Mustangs ect. The coats are nice, especially the newly added ones, but it feels like I am on a Pony. Mostly I use the Turkoman and Kladruber. Turkoman because its overall looking great in proportions and the Kladruber for the unique Roman Nose. That aside - as it is personal taste after all - the body itself is built nicely too. The Arabian comes with a dished face as well and I think Rockstar did a nice job of portraying certain breed characteristics and let them stand out from the "mainstream" horse looks. Thats my opinion.
The Shire is the monster truck of Red Dead, so they're obviously the best.

Not to also mention that since it's actually physically largest horse-game it could be considered a "meta"-winner due the size-attribute:
- It can trample (predators) and tackle (small birds) far more easier
( Like I've had numerous cougars and "reskinned"-felines lunge right into the legs of my Shire-horse and pretty much instantly die right on the spot )
- It can walk/run through most of the rivers and water-spots whereas all other horses need to swim
- It can climb-up and down far more easier

You will know where Arabian horse shines if you run high speed at the winding cliffs and twisting roads in the north without pressing the brake. Most of the time you only need an MFT for the rest of the map and Buell like Dutch Warmblood stats for hunting without worrying your stamina CORES drains so easily for lots of pelts skins carried by it.
DONKEY is very fast if you surprised it with predators and all the horses whatever class it is, but sucks in Health and stamina in long way running.
If you want presentation , nothing beats the Tennessee Walker.

I wish you could choose the coats on the horse. Tbh most of the level 20 roles horse coats don’t look as good as the earlier levels, for example I want a solid black horse, not black with white feet or face makings I mean completely black, there are 2 in the whole game 1 of them is the level 1 Kladruber. It’s like why do I have to keep the level 1 horse just to get that coat. It really should be more customizable. In GTA can’t you change the color of your car🤯
My black and white Hungarian half-bred will always be my boah
I have the brown one ☺️ they’re very good horses, don’t freak out much in combat! I even convinced my friend to get one because he saw how calm mine was against a pack of wolves without calming her down.
Breton and gypsy cob is my favorite

the Marble Sabino Criollo has grown on me, but the gate (leg shape, stance) is better on the Thoroughbred or Turkmen
I'm good with my deluxe edition black thouroughbred. its sleek, large and looks badass
for me bretone, tinker and norfolk roadster are the best looking horses because they are big, look extremely strong with a lot of muscles like a beast and bretone and tinker have maximum health too. bretone has awesome behaviour in gunfights and when animals attack (if you know how to handle it right) and is still pretty fast. but i also like the new brown bindle missouri foxtrotter because it looks like a tiger :)

Imo the white kladruber is one of the prettiest horses in the game. The size of the horse and the coat are perfect
Seal brown thoroughbred that John gets in the story is the best looking horse in this game and some other horses that are good looking are black chestnut thoroughbred, dark bay turkoman, black turkoman and tiger striped mustang. It’s a personal choice which one u like but horses who are tall with slimmer mouth looks more elegant.
I've never thought the Arabian looked small. In fact, I always felt like every other horse in the game made me look like a jockey.
Norfolk roadster, spotted tricolor is the best looking horse in the game. I mainly use turkoman for max health. I always feel like I’m gimping myself for using a horse that’s missing over a quarter health.
Good to see a wide variation across the player base on preferred horses. I tend to lean towards the spotted tricolor norfolk roadster, and the dark bay turkoman. Those are the two I use the most out of my stable.
My last outside shout would be the gold turkoman but I didn't bother buying it since I own the dark bay turkoman I didn't wanna waste money on two of them.
I think Arabian people like it because the plain white and plain black just looks simplistic but works with most styles regardless how your character looks and what saddles you go with etc...

Sometimes i really wish Brindle Arabian in Online (the wild one that you can get in near Wapiti Reservation on Story Mode)

There are three colors in online black, white, and a chestnut variant. How? In story the warped brindle Arabian is stunning but like out of all the horses the horse that comes in the blandest colors? 😂
I have had my Wild Bay Mustang since I was level 27 back in the beta... I am level 300 now and she is still my primary horse(And only recently accepted the fact that she is female and has stopped growing testicles). I have other horses but my mustang will always be my go-to for all situations. I know there are better mustangs with higher stats, but the Wild Bay looks the best in my opinion, so I use that one.
Silver Kladruber named Moonlight is my favorite horse so far.
The Perlino Turkoman is so underapreciated...
Check out the marble sabino Criollo. I think it's one of the most unique coats available for a horse and my personal favorite.
Another great looking horse with a good color scheme I saw another player using was the Chestnut Tovero Mustang with the orange/blue nacogdoches saddle. Fits incredibly well. To me though personally the 42G cow horse fox trotter is my favorite looking.

I’m a big fan of the black and white gypsy cob, level 20 brown and white Norfolk roadster and the black and or brown turkoman
I don't agree that horses have the same temperament. I think the differences are subtle, but they are there. I rode around on an Arabian for a long time and frequently got pitched. If a wolf so much as appeared on the horizon, the horse would start losing its mind. I recently bought an Andalusian and have only been thrown once and that was completely understandable given the circumstances. If you arent riding the horse, they all behave exactly the same. But when you're on them, there are differences.

For more than two years my one and only horse has been my black arabian mare Lidia. I would never change her for any other horse and I destroy anyone who dare to hurt her.

For me, I have to have a hires that is both beautiful and functional. So I have 2 Turkoman (Black and Chestnut), a Shire (Raven Black), and a Missouri Fox Trotter (Amber Champagne). Anything else, like the Silver Turkoman, Spotted Tricolor Norfolk Roadster, and extra Shires/Thoroughbreds aren't really my main horses and are usually only taken out for some casual hunting, gatherings with friends, casual races with friends, and to increase overall bonding.
I think the reason the Arabian is so popular despite the fact it’s tiny is because it’s one of the only good looking all white horses and it’s Dutch’s story mode horse

You notice the difference in handling between the Arabian and the rest when you're forced to use a backup horse for some reason - and end up riding off a cliff because it couldn't take a narrow turn at full speed the way you usually do.
honestly, after riding the Arabian vs. the dutch warm blood (in game) you will notice a difference in the way the horse acts. the Arabian is flighty while the warm blood will take a beating for a bit. Warm bloods are awesome. there is a reason they are called warm bloods because they are a cross of a hot blood (Arabian, thoroughbred type) and a cold blood type (Belgian, shire, clydsdayle) to get a cooling down of the hot while making the cold more agile and nimble. and yes i have ridden horses, both for pleasure and in competition, both western and english on several different breeds. from the horses i have ridden in rdo the movement and "quirks" are similar to the standard traits of the breeds, albeit somewhat altered for gameplay.
Handling is much more then many think.Have standart and race handling horses.Standart less become dirty and to clean him just need brush 1 time.Race became dirty wery fast and to clean you need ride in water.Brushing have zero effect
If size mattered that much, no one would like the donkey haha.
But in all honesty, I really like that the Arabian is eye level with our character, it feels more immersive because I feel my character is actually looking at the horse, instead of just facing the horse. If this game made us look up to look the bigger horses in the eye when facing it, I feel my opinion could change.
My choice on best looking horse while riding the horse, would probably be the Breton
I like my dark bay turcoman tbh,it’s the perfect size for my character’s body.
Honestly my new favorite is the new Missouri fox trotter, the chocolate brown one. He's brave and calm.

Black Turkoman for sure! I have an Arabian, Fox Trotter, Norfolk Roadster, Shire and a Thoroughbred also.
Since im using a male character model with an athletic build i tend to use Turkomans and Andalusians it kind of fits the character .
i like the Dark bay coats of the Andalusian and the Turkoman :)
They all fall for the “ if it’s the most expensive, so it’s the best “ craic, but don’t want to admit that so they say they like the look of, it looks ridiculous, it reminds me of the Goonies when Brad rides the little girls bike 😂

Had a White Missouri Fox Trotter as my second horse in the game, was good enough but at the time I was new and wanted the Arabian obviously, after using the Arabian for so long I was fed up of it constantly dropping me off after seeing any predator that's still miles away. Few days after I got myself the naturalist role I got a shire mainly coz of the size, and I have a female character, just hilarious to watch the size difference tho. Best part, my shire with a panther or cougar at its legs just manages to trample them to death eventually while I calm it down all the way, not a shot fired.
I recommend mustangs. They not the best but theres literally no chance it gets scared and drop u off.
The blood bay Thoroughbred is beautiful
Got my black chestnut thoroughbred that I named Mr. T and I love him dearly despite his tendencies to die on me in important moments. I am saving up for the grey Turkoman though because I've always fared better with horses that can handle a couple bullets. :')

Spent gold on the black turkoman just so I could have a high-health black horse for my Mountie look. Worth it!
Although I have soft spot for Chestnut arabian and turkoman, nowaday I always love to ride with my black Norfolk roadster. It looks sturdy but not too big. I change the tail to white and she looks gorgeous
