Best character ever tbh. Every character in adventure time deserves its own video tbh for how real they are. This is lord of the ring quality
You my friend, are speaking Facts, every main character and even a lot of the side ones feel so unique
Jake is truly peak
@@antoinefields390 his quotes and wisdom alone make him B tier, and the rest only makes him even better
@@rafaelconstantino9736 you ain’t never told a lie 🙏
How about the freaky dear
Jake is lazy and never takes anything seriously so him treating being a father as his one and only priority to the point of exhaustion is super sweet
"Babies never be perfect. Sometimes you just had to dive in." - typical minecraft streamer
💀
nah babies too old for them...
Mr. Fox's character arc is probably one of the wildest journeys that transcends life itself.
IYKYK
Transcends Life and becomes New Death💀🦊 (hope nux doesn't see this)
To think, just yesterday he was eating babies
@@mauricegreen5321to think just yesterday, he was forced into kissing a goose that secretly liked him
Actually it’s the other way around, he liked a duck, but the duck liked a goose.

Finn: Hey, Lady. Where's Jake?
Lady: *korean noises*
Finn: He went to g...get milk? Oh... oh no, bro.
Jake: Hey, I'm back! Who wants choccy milk?
noooo not choccy milk
@@madscientist14 choccy milk is the key, though. No one *ever* goes to the store _just_ to buy a gallon of milk. You just get it next time, and rawdog your cinnamon toast crunch.
But if someone is just sitting, then stands up, says "damnitt. I want some choccy milk.", and walks out the door. You 100% know he's heading to the c store, and will be right back.
@@Volyren they're dogs. I thought you were alluding to kin murder.

The fact that most of us just accept the presence of those Korean diloge lines that we can't understand, yet we somehow still get it and continue watching anyway is just hilarious!
What’s annoying is the captions never translated what she was saying, they just put speaks Korean. You literally have to look up TH-cam clips if you want to know what she said
@@TheJjcczz You aren't supposed to.
@@TheJjcczz Ma man, I think that is THE POINT, something like Schnitzel from Chowder, although she is speaking an actual language, they know the majority of viewers don't speak it, so we have to peace what she says from here actions and the other character reactions and dialogue.
Pretty sure the pups look the way they do because we're mixing rainbow horse and talking dog DNA. All of them are a combination Lady and Jake traits.
But neither of them has butts for a face...
Well, and because Jake 「REDACTED」
(Don't want to spoil it on the off chance Nux sees this)
It's actually ************* DNA
@@BigPapaPhilosophia I would have to agree that its also Jake [REDACTED]
I really want Nux to continue consuming the lore of Spooky Month and with it being so close to October it would be really fitting and really cool.
- The sword that Jake is holding while sleeping is similar to the ones used on stage as the band GWAR & the book “Baby Eating Foxes & the Babies” seem to be based on the Grimm’e fairy tail called the “The Wolf & the Seven Kids” while “Mom’s Manual Knows Best” is a play on the phrase Father Knows Best
- Finn's backwards shirt “Best Unkle” writing is a reference to the character I.R. Baboon from the cartoon “I Am Weasel”
- At the end of the episode the pups say "수학 !” which means "Mathematical !"
My grandma used to read me a fairytale called the seven goats where six of the baby goats get eaten by a wolf because their mom left to get groceries, and they didn't lock the door. The seventh one ends up outsmarting the wolf, cutting up his stomach while he's unconscious to release the other lambs and replace them with rocks, sewing the stomach back up again and throwing the wolf down a well.
Seems a lot more morbid than I remember in hindsight. I guess the lesson is kids like gore?
@@kjarakravik4837 You unlocked a very old memory from me.
I can’t wait until Nux unlocks the Jake lore …
Poor Jake. He really did try. And he really does love his kids. Which is more than a lot of cartoon parents.
Nux didn’t see Jermaine in the shopping cart. I was hoping for that freak out.
Charlie: FURRY LORE!
TV: NEET LORE!!
Viola: LSP LORE!!!
Kim Kil Whan: REAL ESTATE LORE!!!!
Jake Jr: KINGPIN LORE!!!!!
Jake's "Mother-Father": CANNIBALISM LOOOOOOORE!!!!!!!
JAKE THE FATHER IS FINALLY HERE!!!
Loving the speed you're getting the adventure time reactions up.
He marathoned like 6 or so episoded like 3 weeks ago. And slowly releasing them on youpoop
Nux saying there's something wrong with Jake jr, meanwhile people who knows: Oh it's intentional and not a birth defect, in retrospec it's literally just gene expression shinning through her more than her other siblings.
I’ve seen this show when I was a kid and now I’m just putting together how that worked at the age of 22 bruh
no spoilers brother. we gotta be careful to not ruin the new viewer experiance for people.
@@shardinhand1243 I won’t but it was amazing how it just hit me like that
It might be both, genetics doesn’t explain the lack of eyes

Im so glad to see Nux go on this amazing adventure and giving it the proper respect it is due.
The scene of the foxes finding the book is one of the funniest scenes in the whole series imo
Jake being a dad is the best thing ever
To bad his kids age crazy fast tho
@@rafaelconstantino9736 I think it was they matured fast, its not like Lady Rainacorn or her parents are super old to Jake at any point. Most these characters are basically mutated sapient animals and given the other genetics involved here whose to say what weirdness they got.
@@TheRhuen fair point
@@TheRhuen no they do grow/age fast look at how much they grow in just one episode it also seems like they get it from lady's side as she doesn't worry about them at all pretty much so I'm wondering if rainicorns "abandon" there offspring or just let them mostly fend for them self's
@@petthequeenofmaddness8592 that is what I meant by mature fast, like a dog reaches maturity at around 1-2 years old, but it doesn't keep that same pace it whole life span. We see something like this through the series when Jake says he is 28 or higher years old, he means biologically not actual years. These puppies grow/age to maturity quickly but the rest of the show they don't keep aging at the same rate, we even see TV in Fiona and Cake as an adult. The assumption is that their Rainacorn DNA as Jake says in this episode makes them grow to adults in weeks, but not that they keep aging that fast, as Lady and her parents and others are still around many years later in the show.
We do see Rainacorn life later in the show when Lady goes home to the crystal dimension and how she grew up
A video to listen to when I'm at work, lovely stuff
On telling kids scary stories. I also invented monsters...technically I still do but not for this reason and did before that, but I digress. So when my nephews were little they had this annoying habit of not being afraid of real things, like drowning, getting lost in the woods or the cornfield, or of strangers and their windowless vans etc... so I had to tell them stories about monsters living in the corn field, the abandoned buildings, stalking the streets at night, in the pond and...given I have a mixture of folklore and imagination it worked fairly well. Which does make you think about how many old monsters just existed because someone told their kids about to them to keep them safe (or obedient) and those kids passed it down, like don't stay up late and wander about the house at night or this thing will crawl down the chimney to eat you (actual folklore fae creature), or the sheer number of drowners or that's not just some stranger or random animal but a shapeshifting nightmare creature. Because apparently kids (and even adults) are more frightened by the unknown hidden imaginary predators than confirmed dangers they can experience. Tell a kid they might drown and they argue they can swim, tell the kid there is the ghost of a drowned man in the dark muddy depths and you give the a phobia.
Puppies!,,,and it was on this day that a dark shadow started to grow. Born of innocence and love, yet its depths would know no mercy or compassion for those upon who the shadow fell.
Jake Is considered the most dangerous being in Ooo by princess Bubblegum
This episode is wholesome
My wife says you sound almost exactly like Pat Oswald when she cant see the screen!!!
We need a video exploring the nux monsterverse lore.
Nux recognized the Joshua hat lol awesome
Boss cooked this episode! Love when Nux comes to natural accurate conclusions
I have a sixth sense for when Nux drops an Adventure Time vid
Cant wait for fire and frost...
L episode fr
Fr ,L for finn,FP and kinda ice king, though that was kinda jake's fault,
the pups never team up like this again and that upsets me
honestly when it comes to the pups, with all the spin-offs and future events series we get I want to see how we go from these pups to *Gibbon's empire* that lasts for a thousand years.
My dad used to tell me stories about money. So he would make up a story about a quarter and the journey that the quarter would go on passing from hand to hand. He would give them personalities and the story would end. then we move onto a different type of coin like a dime. I loved those stories
Imagine being a parent, watch adventure time with your children and discussing the morals of the episode so they learn the correct values of it. I THINK that would be peak parenting.
I wonder if Gibbon had a manual when he born
This episode was crazy. Lol, it's always hard to restrain myself from watching any further because I like watching along with Nux. I'm always happy when there's a new Adventure Time upload here, I always look forward to it more than any other TH-cam video.
Jake went to tier 15.
Yeah, it’s a funny way to end this one. The kids because of their mixed heritage age faster than dogs do. They went from babies to teenagers / young adults in a span of a few days. This is like that 1 anime where the Demon King gets reincarnated and is physically a high school teenager by the end of a month.
The Ricardio theory for Jake Jr. is possible I guess but I feel like it’s a little clearer on the real reason later on in the show. No spoilers
Nux, you need to get a little Louise Belcher in your life. Don't think all of Bob's Burgers is up your alley, but Louise - you'd LOVE Louise.
Imma need one of your AT reactions DAILY boss
Did Nux simply not notice how the puppies got bigger and bigger every moment and in the end they were practically the size of Jake?
200% here right away. Every nux AT episode. They are all fire. PUPPIES!
7:06 I still love this, Jake Mom is similar to Jake’s Dad, they predicted how would Jake reacted when recording it cause Joshua knew Jake was going to try to talk to him
Henny Penny, had no survivors, and while I enjoyed the poke little puppy my favorite kids book that was mortifying was The little old lady and her pig.
I hope to God next episode reaction is titled "Fin _and_ I deal with obsessive fans"
The puppies are here, also Jake Jr is VA Mable & Sarah Lynn
With how adventurous Jake is, you'd assume he'd be too loose with them. But I think this is just that dog instinct
Up Next: The last Episode in the Nux Adventure Time Marathon.
"Don't let the Dragon Drag On"
Oh my god, I can’t believe Nux brought up the Ricardo theory. I legit think it’s why Jake Jr’s lower and upper half is flipped
I like the part where he is reading the children's book his parents read to him realizing how absolutely messed up the story is.
Wholesome dad episode let's goooooooo.
Best thing about Adventure Time is It matures and grows with the audience.
17:09 also that one newt from that mall episode in amphibia and Louise from Bob's burgers lol
The Marathon continues! I love it.
My guess was it's because Jack has a _unique_ strand of DNA... If you know, you know...
Also, aww he's wearing his dad's hat!
Some people took issue with the easy resolution to the "Jake fatherhood" stuff being resolved so quickly, thought it felt a bit status quo-y, and...they're not wrong. Thankfully the Pups don't go away and do make meaningful impacts on various character arcs.
Also, fun fact. It's confirmed in canon that Jake and Lady's children are a new species called 'Pups', and that has wide-reaching implications for the Land of Ooo.
I will post this on all of your videos until you watch Baldemort's: The Secret History of the Orks. I'm also going to add in The Thousand Sons Are The Saddest Legion by Isyander & Koda (the way he hypes the Magnus v Leman fight is actual god tier), and The Strange World of Invincible Abridged by UndeadHumor.
'In the warp a giant stirred; an image flickered through a mind larger than a nebula. The sleep of Gork was troubled. In his dreams he wore a metal body and led his children to victory. The dream lasted a brief instant of long eternity, something about it caused Gork to smile but not to rouse.
In the warp Mork too was disturbed. He dreamed of war spreading like a green stain across the galaxy. He saw billions of his children following giant warmachines built in his crude image on a great crusade. He found the dream good. And slowly his vast mind moved towards wakefulness.
Gork and Mork stirred. Their dreams reached out and touched the dreams of their people. A billion Orks turned in their sleep; suddenly, inexplicably infected by scenes of slaughter and reaving, plunder and the taking of worlds. When they awoke they looked on their surroundings and found them dull.
Gork struggled towards awareness. After centuries of dormancy it was a long process. He sensed other Powers in the warp trying to interfere. He blocked a subtle tendril from Slaanesh, ignored a baleful warning from the Emperor, discounted the triumphant cry of Khorne. He reached out with his millennia-old mind and gathered the strength of his people. Soon he would be awake and active. A body of steel had been prepared for him. A time of blood and iron was approaching.
As Mork gathered strength many a Warboss found himself afflicted with thoughts of power. Ancient ambitions were re-kindled. Long vanished thoughts of conquest stirred in the recesses of slow minds. They planned raids on nearby Humans and toyed with thoughts of alliances with old rivals. Not even great soul-searching could explain why this was so. The Ancient Powers knew what was happening, though. The Waa-Ork was coming.
Gork and Mork stirred and a wave of fear passed through the warp. Suicide and incidence of violent crime climbed steeply. On Icolbar an Astropath screamed and threw himself from the balcony of a starscraper apartment, yelling that his people were doomed. On the craft-world Hope of Other Days, an Eldar philosopher stopped listening to the atonal music of his water-chimes and began composing his death-haiku, feeling his life had been justified. On distant Earth, a living corpse in a golden throne opened eyes that held fear for the first time in centuries.
Gork felt his attention being tugged towards one tiny world on the edge of Orkdom. A strange attraction drew him to it. He leaned down from warpspace and looked upon it. His breath brought storms in the Ash Desert. His gaze caused machines to break down. His lightest tread brought earthquakes. Seeing the disruption he was causing among his people he withdrew. He knew the time was not yet right for his return. He withdrew but he left a message.
Mork moved on the face of the warp, brushing aside Daemons and ignoring ancient barriers set by long dead Gods. He moved from world to world and placed in the heart of every Ork the desire to be restless, to move, to follow the siren call of adventure when it came. He sensed other Powers subtly striving to oppose him and laughed as their attempts to restrain his crude, irresistible purpose.
The Emperor knew that he must save his people. If Gork and Mork unleashed their hordes then any unprepared worlds would be swept aside by a green tide of death The Emperor bent his thoughts to the task. Across Human space, within the range of the Astronomicon, Imperial Tarot began to foretell disaster. Commanders consulting them found all the signs of impending catastrophe on a cosmic scale.
In the Segmentum Obscura, Battlefleets were recalled and prepared for war. On the homeworlds of the Adeptus Astartes, Space Marines reached for their weapons, knowing their time of destiny was near. On the edges of the Eye Of Terror, the Orders of the Adeptus Titanicus roused their ancient war-machines. Having surveyed his Empire and seen it was ready the dying immortal within the Golden Throne prepared himself for the conflict to come.
Gork and Mork knew that they were ready. Their people were agitated and prepared for battle The Emperor, their chosen enemy, had deployed his forces. The first skirmishes had been fought, now war was about to be joined.
Beyond them they sensed the Chaos Powers watching, waiting to see what advantage the God-brothers' actions might bring them. In the darkest pits of creation twisted creatures prepared to follow the Orks' advance. Gork and Mork did not care. They knew they were strong enough to resist Chaos.
The time was right. The time was now. It was time for Gork and Mork to have some fun.
In the Warp Gork and Mork waited, well pleased. Across the face of a million worlds their children were on the move, a green tide that would topple empires and re-shape the Universe. The Waa-Ork was on the move.'
I think the reason Jake Jr looks like that is probably from Ricardio tied Lady Rainicorn in a knot when she was still pregnant, causing a birth defect onto Jake Jr.
I had a specific tool ( a musical electrophone) to fight off the monst3rs in the attic. It usually worked
Now that you're all grown up, you should enter the boiler room. Find that Higlik. Sue it for endangering minors.
Jake Jr looks like a character who first appears later on….
Nux please do odd world lore next by reliable rhubarb or pupbenny
This episode gets even weirder when you realize that Lady Rainicorn and BMO are voiced by the same actress.
Your father knows about Higlik?! I think he was my father's partner in his demonology research team. Reminds me of the Konkae that only eat childrens' spines.
Being a parent, or having an important role with babies is a really different experience. (I speak as an older sister with a baby sister)
Lore dive into Daddynor's monsterverse!
Great Episode
🤣damn I never really thought about how Jake still lives with Finn despite having children
hmmm.... so nux has his own moster-verse lore and dosen't want to share... that means he's keeping some good lore from us!!!...
I’m 17. I basically watch my sibling all the time and I do shit like that since I was a little kid watching them. Think it’s funny that not bad to say or make up monsters so they don’t do things or a supposed
When they aren’t listening to.
You had a tough day at the office. So you come home, make yourself some dinner, smother your kids, pop in a movie, maybe have a drink. It's fun, right? Wrong. Don't smother your kids.
Nice, adventure drug time
Another one so soon ? Hell yeah
The Jake lore is going to blow his mind
Hey Nux! have you ever thought about doing a deepdive into Transformers G1 lore?
YES IT'S FINALLY THIS EPISODE, I IS PUPPIES... and... Mr Fox hmmm
As the dad that she doesn't need in her life..... respect
Just wait till you get to Jake's origin story its going to blow your MIND!
Okay im here for my adult cocomelon
1:35 love Nux’s reaction to Jake Jr
Pretty sure that the reason the pups look so weird is because their parents are entirely different species and that’s normally not supposed to be possible (at least when the species aren’t closely related)
Unbased facts here. They made Jake junior look like a butt because Jake's butt
I want a video about Nux monsterverse. More lore!
I'm giddy he doesn't know. The puppies are cute though. Even jake jr
I can't believe Adventure time predicted Bluey
Huh.. I remember years back not being a big fan of Jake's kids. The whole aging fast and just some other minor stuff from future episodes involving them and Jake just left me feeling a bit mixed feelings. Watching it now wasn't really that bad, but I guess I'll wait to rewatch the future episodes to see if my feelings still more or less remain the same since I'm just going off of memory from years back.
3:15 ok so Jake is an adult, basically in his 30s, but he's still a dog so he's been alive just as long as Finn. he probably still lives with Finn because his brother is still a kid.
Pay close attention to the fox cause the fox becomes a major character 😊
Fun Facts about this Episode:
This is the first appearance of Jake and Lady Rainicorn's newborn kids: Charlie, T.V., Viola, Kim Kil Whan, and Jake Jr.
The words on Finn's shirt read "BEST UNKLE" written upside-down and in reverse.
In Mom's manual, Finn is shown in Margaret's shopping cart when speaking about breakfast.
At the end, the pups say "수학! [suhag!]" which means "Mathematical!"
This is the first Adventure Time episode to premiere in 2013.
When Jake was presenting the pups to Finn and BMO, the name banners have unique objects on either side: Charlie's banner has two pink flowers, T.V.'s banner has two yellow ducks facing each other, Viola's banner has roses on top and bottom, a viola on the left side and a fiddle on the right side, Kim Kil Whan's banner has a hotdog on the banner, and Jake Jr.'s banner has a treasure chest, with gold littering near it and has a skull and a sword on either side of the chest.
This is the second episode that has the title starting with "Jake the." The first being "Jake the Dog".
All the puppies are shown to have the ability to teleport despite neither Jake nor Lady Rainicorn having displayed this power. It is possible that they inherited this power from their paternal grandparent, Warren Ampersand.
It's revealed that Raincorn offspring age quickly.
Episode connections:
The beginning of the long preview was taken from the ending of "Lady & Peebles," when Lady said that she was pregnant.
Jake was shown to be wearing Joshua's hat. Joshua was seen wearing this hat in "Memories of Boom Boom Mountain," "Crystals Have Power," "Dad's Dungeon," and "King Worm."
The pups are shown to have the ability to morph others into their bodies. Lady Rainicorn was shown to possess this power in "The Creeps."
The reusable grocery bag that Jake carries the holo-message player in says "Breakfast Kingdom" which was shown in "Hitman." It also says "Public Library" under that.
Cultural references:
When Finn and BMO leave Jake's house, Finn says "No prob, Bob." which is Scoop's catchphrase from Bob the Builder.
Jake blows on the manual's cartridge. A similar technique was often used to boot video game cartridges when they would not load initially.
Jake's phrase "Mom's Manual Knows Best" could be a nod to 1940's sitcom Father Knows Best.
The puppies' formation to save Jake from the foxes is a reference to robot combining transformations as seen in Japanese animated shows or live-action shows such as the GoLion (Voltron) and Super Sentai (Power Rangers) franchise.
Baby Eating Fox and the Babies closely resembles a little golden book.
Finn's backwards shirt writing is a reference to the character I.R. Baboon from the 1990's cartoon I Am Weasel. Which was shown on Cartoon Network along with it's sister series Cow and Chicken.
The sword Jake holds while sleeping is similar to certain swords used on stage by the band GWAR.
Production notes:
This episode was originally set to release on December 10, 2012. However, due to a last minute programming change, because of Cartoon Network's Christmas Marathon, it was moved to January 7, 2013. However, this is the first Adventure Time episode to air in 2013.
Errors:
When seen close up, the holo-cartridge shows a photo. When the view pulls back, the logo is replaced by a hole the color of Jake's skin.
There were some cups around Jake when he was watching the kids with binoculars, when he looked at the clock the cups disappeared, when he is yawning all the cups except one reappear.
Both times Jake tells his pups the story about the snake and learning about safety, Viola's horn cannot be seen.
It is possible that the animators didn't want to obscure Jake's face.
After reading page 3 of "Baby Eating Fox and the Babies," Jake turns the page from left to right instead of vice versa.
When Jake stretches to look out the window the plastic bag, the holo-message player, and the hat TV just threw on the floor disappear. When Jake takes the book away from them only the holo-message player reappears and the duck on the couch is gone too.
When TV hits the hat with the duck the pillow on the couch is missing.
When Jake asks the manual if the book is appropriate for babies the bow on the hat has moved.
I can't wait till he finds out y the kids have these crazy powers
Don't worry nux there will be more pup episodes.
