I have a rare item for collectors from venom it's an original tape from 1984 ,"at war with satan"...its still in perfect condition...great vid by the way man!!!
I miss the obnoxious (in the best way) bass solo at the end, but Cronos going into a total frenzy wrecking his bass and even trying to snap the neck over his knee makes up for that! Total classic here.
mis primeros videos de Metal, eas si eran bandas, bueno siguen aviendo pero contadas, VIVA EL METAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gindcore, Death metal, Black Metal, ...
Actually its this one, on album version Cronos is speaking in pitched vocals, something about countess, but I've only heard it on album version... It looks like these "you tube" versions are shortened by that intro part...:/
i have this show on vhs fantastic song the countess bathory has existed for real she was taking baths in the blood of virgins girls to preserve her youth she was sentenced to be imprisoned in the tower of his castle where she died
I love this song. I remember buying the VHS video the night of the high school graduation in New Bern NC. (I did not graduate), I was envited to watch a band perform at the Mall and that day I bought: Venom LIVE (This Video) Lizzy Borden Murderous Metal Road Show (Cassette) And Metallica - 5.99 EP Damn, I love this video, expecially the Fire part. Just blasted Rocks the world man/women. This is the shit. Carrzkiss picdrive.net
but im talking about metal, venom you know, and i was saying that it happened before glam metal with the pink and yellow spandex, bowie would like wear dresses
I always thouhht this song was about venoms aphyxsation with bathory (a much heavier band) and thier infinite number of songs they've collected of them including all 83 -84 demos and all bathory tshirts action figures hats posters socks bed spreads and life sized mannequins of the band thus wanting to brag about thier collection they created a song titled countless bathory
my first gig was VENOM in '85,I WAS 15,went to all metalgigs in Holland for about 6 years and then the shitbands came along. SLAYEROVERKILLSODMEGADETHCARNIVOREVENOM FROM THOSE DAYS WERE THE ONLY REAL GOOD BANDS.
thats what i just said, bowie you know? that wierd dude, he was glam in the 70s and then i reffered to poison cause of the 80s and thats what type of glam i meant
@DISNEYlover140 Well hell guy, if you dont like it what you doin listenin to it? Thanks for the unsolicited opinion though, your perspective has opened my eyes.
That bass smash is awesome, but I don't understand how you could do that to your instrument. If I did that to one of my guitars, in the heat of the moment, I would harsh regret it later.
Not much Black Metal elements, but they were important to Black Metal too. I consider Venom as the first Thrash band, but there are indeed lot's of elements in their music.
If thats true, i'll be suprised. Because when you said that, i just realized that those two song have the same riff at the reff of the song. But, megadeth made "Killing Is My Business" riff not heavy, but in their own speed trash metal style. While Venom "Countess Bathory" riff, its very heavy and so annoying for the people who doesn't love black metal.
bueno el video jajaj cronos no se la pudo intento romper el bajo con la pierna y no pudo XD jajajaj terrible bueno venom ya saludos thr black metal and welcome to hell are the best albums of venom in my opinion

@Judickas incredibly influencial. legends in the speed black and evil metal. fucking VENOM
Venom \m/
but im talking about metal, venom you know, and i was saying that it happened before glam metal with the pink and yellow spandex, bowie would like wear dresses
@micol018 Maybe "Welcome to hell" and "Buried alive". In those two Cronos sings like Satan at the beginning.
well, its hard for a band to only have one genre to their name. venom has like 4 different genres
never mind its working now...
Crono's bass has one of those Steve Vai monkey grips. Guess those things have been around awhile then.

VENOM RULES FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Unleashed did a great remake of this song.
futhermore i think i think all three bands drummer uses paiste cymbals- rude series the best cymbals ever.
such bad ass riff this song has
yeah
remember cronos said it was 160db before they turned the pa on?????????
dude how can you say that? they adopted this look before glam started, its just hardcore clothes like preist, or early slayer
Lol, true, but talk about influence XD haha awesome bands leastways.
Not much Black Metal elements, but they were important to Black Metal too. I consider Venom as the first Thrash band, but there are indeed lot's of elements in their music.
1. bathory 2. venom
@JAMEY138 i agree 100%
BETTER IMPOSSIBLE.
that part at about 1.50 soundss like the ripper by priest, anyone think that? or some other bands rift out of a song?
1:50 Jeff Mantas is God of Guitar
venoms best song
Wow...how out of time can your vocals get?
FIRST WAVE OF BLACK AND THRASH METAL!!!
LMAO, nice typo!
I think Candlemass have made a cover of this song.
it s true young forever and not imortality
is not the flying V , he is just short. hehehhe
@Gorgoroth969 they fucking rule!!
Canadian Export?
Newcastle, England, UK...
hellham the new metal sandwich
Dave Mustaine was definitely highly inspired by Venom it seems when listening to Killing is my business.
If thats true, i'll be suprised. Because when you said that, i just realized that those two song have the same riff at the reff of the song.
