I have personal experience with acko platinum plan claim settlement, it was quick cashless settlement. Covers all hospital bills including food , dietician consultation, doctor consultation, medicines, bed charges etc. only thing i paid was auto rickshaw bill from hospital to home. 😊

Kindly do not go with acko. The biggest problem is their TPA - FHPL. TPA had made the pre auth process as punishment. Once hospital puts pre auth request, they will send queries in chunks so that the TAT of 2 hrs keep extending. They can send all queries at once but they wont. This is so much harassment process as you have to coordinate hospital mediclaim deak multiple times to reply to TPA. kindly do not buy acko. P.S : i have 2 platinum acko policy and now thinking of porting.
Rather then talking to certified advisors it will be better if we can directly talk to customer patient experience about policy Reality is there r only few patient videos on TH-cam

In Issues during claims even ditto can't help here, it's all depends on situation to situation. If there is frequent claim issues so you mean IRDA is useless in this context. Many insurance policies are competing well due to less premium as there are no commissions involved. So ye bolna ditto ka Banta hai ki acko ke claims me issue aayega, cool.

One of them they take premium and hold on to it enjoying interest and return it with 40 pc cut on some pretext or other irdai must force the premiums into escrow account until acceptance or rejection
