What I would love to see is a video covering actual sales and success/failure after doing this regularly 6 months. There are a number of things that are easy to make (like this). The problem is that it's easy for other people to do too, so the market becomes saturated. The store you are showing that are taking in six- and seven-figures...Most of them probably have several streams of income and/or crosspost like crazy to get sales and traffic from every possible avenue. For most of us, we probably work full-time and have families...It would be helpful to see how many hours actually go into making this successful (IF it becomes successful) and what the realistic journey is like.
In other videos, he shows proof of his earnings. He screenshots from Etsy showing how his Etsy income was $0 in 2020 (when he started) and his sales were through the roof the same month of the following year. You won't make money right away. You'll need to post several hundreds of listings and then wait a few months (keep putting up new listings at that time). It takes a few months for the Etsy algorithm to start showing your items higher up in the search (versus paid ads).
I agree, need more proof. This assures users it is truly something that can be done. Not just someone saying, yea its possible, but there are other secrets i wont say.
As an artist, with skills I’ve developed over the last 15 years, and thousands of lonely hours painting, drawing, practicing with my own hands and my own creativity, I hate this.
Kinda missed some important steps. How does one actually produce the product? How much should one charge? How much does it cost to produce the product? What about seo? One can't just post something for sale and expect people to buy it, or even see it. What platforms should one post to? What time frame should one expect to generate the claimed half million in revenue?
@@alekSheffy I understand, but you gotta admit, those are some important points, no? You can always do a follow up video and link it in description or in comments. Or make a 45 minute long video. If the info is valid, useful, and delivered in a good way, people that actually wanna do something like this will watch it. Overall, great video, just missing those key points to actually making money imo
As an artist trying to start his own sticker business, this hurts my soul. Knowing the hours i put in to every image will likely be a waste seeing all the comments here just willing to use AI to undercut actual artists. Make me want to give up art all together. I kinda want to vomit. Disgusting
Why is it disgusting? You may not like it but how about you move with the times? Do ai stickers and then offer a premium charge for custom designed ones
I will never take kindly to Al art, but I will give you your props for at least trying to backward search the images that are generated and are encouraging the practice of checking to make sure it doesn't trace back to a specific artist style . Definitely will try that first step more to help give me creative ideas with my art.🔥
I agree. AI shouldn't be allowed to search on any material that is copyrighted. Just like humans, it must NOT consume ANY copyrighted material. ALL work artists make are NOT valid if they were inspired by literally any concept or character or even a line, that is COPYRIGHTED. We must live in a vacuum, and produce ALL thoughts as originals.
@@excelsior8682 I thought that until I considered ai as consuming art as we would, though at a faster pace. The art we create isn’t as spontaneous or without influence The machine doesn’t care how’s it’s used, that’s up to us, and how we modify and add to our influences, much like modifying ideas generated from ai. I think the idea is it’s a tool, not an absolute.
Actually it's funny to consider it, but Google does not contain every image or piece of art. Only what it has been able to scrape online. Not all art is online. Though if it's being sold online it's more probable.
They can generate all they want, but to stand out against competition, small artists that have shops need to concentrate their branding. That’s the most important thing, and second being sharing your work process to people online (speed videos of designing stickers, packaging, talking about what it’s like to start) through tik tok and TH-cam. People are more willing and happy to support artists who make stuff from scratch/ originals, and know their start up story, there’s more of a human connection of helping another human making and selling honest work- compared to some rando making a bunch Ai generated stickers that have inconsistent branding and no real human story. Branding isn’t just what content you sell looks consistent, or has a demographic it targets, or what it presents itself to what it wants to be, but the human story or the work process which connects to others identities that agree and support that brand. Don’t give up. If Ai art makes you wanna give up from making art, did you ever really like making art to begin with?
like it or not if somebody can generate a image you want 10x faster than a "original" artist can for a cheaper price then most people will go to them... just business keep up
Its disgusting how many people are running with AI art and these get rich schemes meanwhile real artists that put blood sweat and tears into their original designs and work are sh-t on in all of this, im so tired of where the world is going and its taking the humanity out of art.
thats as maybe but we werent all born with that skill i love doing stuff like this but i cant draw worth a shit so gd luck to u people who have this skill
Maybe take pics of you drawing your actual art and raise the price for it. Or do an experiment and see how much it sells for at auction showing the art authenticity. Ai is here, adapt and overcome.
Are you aware that your panda has a, uh, ball between his legs, another has 7 toes and a missing paw, and you've got a whale with an extra flipper, and another one with multiple growths?
Great vid. I'd like to see a part 2 of this video showing which pod company you would recommend and selling prices explaining how you get your profit margin, especially with such a low price item. Thanks!
Your videos are awesome. One question with this particular one is about the end product. Where do you go to make your image into a sticker? I am assuming one of the print-on-demand sites you routinely mention, but you excluded this part of the process from your video and it is probably the most important element. Also, are these just single stickers, or are you making sheets of stickers (judging by your videos, I am going to guess it is both plus some other angles for market presence, diversity of clientele and usage, etc.)? Again, some more details on the processes for the end product and production thereof would be much appreciated.
There are lots of print on demand companies that will print the stickers for you and send them to your customers. Ive been using Printful for years. It's probably not the cheapest but it is basically hands-free once you upload your design and create your Etsy listing. Printful also offers "warehousing" where you can order a lot of something and have them store it in their warehouse for you so that orders ship out faster. This is good if you anticipate selling a large volume of the same item. There are also some companies that will print large lots of stickers and send them to you to mail to your customers as they're ordered. A lot of people who have more time on their hands and want to cut costs buy a Cricut machine and print and cut their own stickers and then mail them to customers themselves. That is the cheaper way to run this type of business but it is way more hands on. It just depends on how much time and energy you want to put into your business. Good luck ✌️
Besides print-on-demand sites, you have two other choices: make them yourself then send them to your customers., or have another company make your stickers, then they send the finished stickers back to you and you send them out to your customers. If you make them yourself, you will need to invest in a quality color inkjet printer because most sticker papers don't work with laser printers, vinyl sticker paper (trust me!), some sort of cold laminate to protect the stickers (it also makes them look very professional), and a cutting machine like a Cricut. You COULD cut them by hand, but its faster to use a machine if you are making a lot of stickers AND they look professional. I sell stickers, and I make them myself because I can put several different designs on one sheet of sticker paper if i only need a few stickers of a particular design. After you make your stickers, they are ready to ship out. If you decide to have another company make them for you then send them to you, there are a LOT of companies that do this. Sticker Mule is pretty popular, but I am personally not crazy about their sticker quality. Their minimum order is 10 of the same design--I think. But, you can order 10 of each design and have your own little stock of ready-to-ship stickers. These companies offer things like glitter and holographic laminates and stickers on different kinds of materials, so you can offer variety. I've ordered stickers from an overseas company, and I am impatiently awaiting my order to see how they turn out, since it can be hard to keep making stickers at home, especially for my designs that are more popular! As for sticker sheets vs individual stickers, you can do both with both of these methods or even print-on-demand. Printify let's you choose if you want to do individual stickers, or kiss cut stickers which are on a sheet. Making stickers at home, its easier--to me-- to make individual stickers because I can't quite figure out how to do the kiss cut with good results. Other companies that make your stickers then send you the finished product also do individual stickers or kiss cut stickers. Stickers sheets are good if you have a variety of one thing (like pandas doing different things like sitting, standing, eating, sleeping, etc) or a theme like pizza slices with different toppings, but you have to design the layout for the sticker sheet yourself. Stickers aren't just for kids, so consider that, too! Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk (lol!), I hope my info helps you!
Thanks for all this valuable information Alek! Where can I find your "bulk-photoshop mock-up" script and your "bulk list with printify" script? I'm not sure if I'm describing those correctly.
I mean it's pretty smart but I'd rather draw my sticker designs. They would seem more valuable imo although people probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference lol. AI does need some kind of copyright laws though
Alek Thank You! I get very frustrated with the amount of support I have. I am a lone wolf. Who knows maybe one day with you help maybe I’ll have a successful sticker business.
It says "start up 6 figure sticker business in 2023". Do you have a link from your own sticker business that is 6 figures atleast this past 2022? Maybe you can hook it up here to see your sales and how much it has grown? Id like to see the numbers and how much you have actually sold from this idea.
He doesn’t bc this is just another “how to make an ai art image print it on something and hypothetically sell a ton for money” videos lol. All these comments blinding thinking they’re gonna make a store out of this is wild to me. You’re the only one I’ve seen that even questioned him.
WOW! I feel like I can conquer the Earth now! All this helpful info! I sure do appreciate this video and your other videos! Thank you SO much for this!
Hey dude a mock listing would be super helpful. I love all the info here except I’m not understanding certain things like are you selling the stickers in a set? How large are they physically? Are you using digital download or printify? Etc
Thank you for this. Sometimes I am looking for a sticker but can’t find any on the topic. How cool to be able to design what I want and maybe other people would like me to design specially stickers for them!
I humbly want to say thank you for your awesome video. I felt opening my own Etsy shop wasn't going to work because of so much competition, but you gave me the courage to open one without worrying about others and be consistent. So kudos to you buddy.
Yeah Edzzie, how's it going? I've opened a shop and posted two listings so far. Planning on putting up one or two listings each morning and scale from there.
Congrats, you just learned how to teach your computer top steal other artists are and profit from it. Give yourself A Yale Diploma you stole from online
I love this video - stickers are awesome and fun. Where did you say I could get that awesome automated mock up generator, and where will you be posting the automated Printify tool? So much love!!!
Man, this just feels really icky seeing this be used to earn money, what a punch in the face to actual artists. How are people getting upset that their generated "work" can get stolen but not understand what artists don't like about all of this.
Virtually the only comment that talks about this. It is messed up. People should know that there are lawsuits currently in place that may affect their use of these images and they may end up being liable for damages to artists as what happened with Napster.
Thank you for talking about this subject. You're like the only person who has and I'm surprised more people aren't upset about it. Some of the most influential artists I follow in the art community have made a huge uproar about AI generated images. AI CAN NOT create images unles it is fed images. Unfortunately, many artists work has already been stolen in order to "teach" the AI without their consent. It's so disheartening. :( This video is a great idea. But I can never feel right about creating a business using generated images from a data base of artists who get no credit. Even though AI can never make a truly original piece of art, it really is a punch to the face for artists who have taken years to hone their skills and make an income just to see an AI generate something similar and people make bank off of it.
I can understand the ingenuity of artistry. The world, though, will constantly evolve. It's nothing we didn't know, coming into this world. It's nothing that should be unexpected to anyone. One of the first things people were saying when I was only 13 years old is "eventually, AI will be stealing people's jobs." For some reason, I find it odd that although we KNEW THAT, we still complain. Here's my advice to you: If you can't beat them, join them. Don't get bogged down by the ideology that your attempt at "authentically made merchandise" will truly matter in the eyes of a consumer. There's a big money wave incoming. Just like with BitCoin, just like with NFTs before they crashed... just like with anything else, there's going to be a small pocket where those with the initiative will take over and create generational wealth for the people they care about. If your ego trumps your family's well being, then so be it. If, though, making a financial dent in the world and living comfortably is within your end goal... rather than complaining about it, I'd find ways to implement the technology presented to find ways to make some dollars. Honestly.
Just letting you know, until laws are changed, there is a high likelihood that you do not own the commercial license for anything from AI. So you can possibly get sued if your image looks to much like someone else. There is a lot of grey area right now around AI and I would wait to use it for commercial use until all the loose legal ends get tied up.
Me having trouble making a selling stickers, then found this video. Following advice my stickers sell like hot snot, now I am millionaire. Need more Vinyl!
the shipping of stickers using printify costs $4.2 and most sticker sellers charge $3 per sticker free shipping so numbers don't make sense, unless you sell multiple stickers per client.
Yeah, i'm not exactly sure how that's turning a profit. Also, for a small sticker the lest I can sell for profit would be like $6.50. Is anyone really going to want to pay $6.50 for ONE small sticker.
As an illustrator, I do not appreciate this video, considering I have my stuff out there and getting stolen by these AI generated prompts. And FYI, Disney is PRETTY SERIOUS cracking down their copyrighted material. I hope you do better.
There's one trait of MJ I can't seem to master - how can I get *just* the image of a sticker, or any object, on a full page, straight, plain background, and not having it on a sheet laying on a desk, or on some card, next to some random objects, and my favorite - a thumb holding the sticker! :) Drives. Me. Nuts. I've tried every single prompt imaginable, short, elaborate and everything in between, not a chance! Sooo...if some kind soul has cracked this and is willing to enlighten me, I'd be forever grateful! :)
Did you try the same prompts I used? Are you using MJ version 4? Also play around with the amount of stylization using --s 50 to 1000 Sometimes that helps get different results
@@alekSheffy Yes, I did. I'm on MJ since early August, I definitely "speak AI", and I'm an experienced graphic designer :) Trust me, there's nothing I haven't tried, and I still can't get rid of the idiotic thumb covering half the image, or having the design laying on a random sheet...but that's the fun of it, AIs can be moody :)
I used Midjourney back in summer of '22, didn't know of the potential of it this way for starting an Etsy shop. Now I'm gonna get started, thanks for making this amazing video.
Amazing video and very thorough so I appreciate that. For someone who is completely brand new to this and has never heard of selling stickers, at the end of your video it would have helped to really walk us through where and how to sell these. If I follow your video to a T I will have a ton of stickers but literally don't know what to do with them from there. Can you do a part 2 on what to do on the next step?
What do you do about the crazy shipping cost of stickers. When I look at sticker printers on printify, all the printers charge over 4 dollars to ship your stickers. It seems like it would be a barrier to getting customers if the shipping costs more than the sticker. What do you do? If I can't fix the shipping cost, should I sell only bundles since it would lessen the sting to potential buyers?
I’m not sure if anyone else in the comments have mentioned this. But you might want to wait for more advice from the Copyright Office in US and other countries. Using an AI generated work isn’t actually “original”, but a mash up of many copyrighted works to create a derivative art work, which is still protected under copyright laws. So just be careful. While you may be entering a saturated market, a big conglomerate or AAA company could come across your store that is grossing over $300k annual sales for example and the company takes you to court for derivative copyright. AI does not mean original
This is amazing. Thank you so much taking the time to show us. What i need help with is a video on how to sell the virtual product on Etsy. Please can you do a video for us?!
Damn bro I've been doing exactly this for about two weeks, like almost exactly lol. Going great so far, getting lots of sales rolling in. So many different avenues to pursue with all these AI tools coming out.
@@Loel43 That's up to you. I hit the free trial limit so I bought it so I could keep generating images. I just had one sale come in for $19 so it doesn't take much to recoup costs.
Insane to me that people feel okay using AI which trains off of preexisting art, effectively stealing it, then selling it, THEN also having the nerve to say you don't want to share your store in case people copy your work that you created with some words and art theft? lmao
I can't even find his Etsy storefront lmao. Like, I am so incredibly curious to see the sales. Especially considering the errors that come with using AI to generate art. Is the storefront in the room with us rn?

How do you compete with other sellers that print at home and are able to offer a much cheaper price point? From what I've seen, POD for individual stickers has a low profit margin and high shipping cost, which eats into profits when compared to other sellers. (do you do sticker sheets? also what kind of stickers?) While I love the idea and your video in general, the $500K number seems absolutely crazy to me without more information about marketing and sourcing.
@FloriDS I think this might be good if you already have an established etsy store that can drive traffic or if you are comfortable paying for ads, but the amount you would need to sell to make any meaningful profit just seems way too high, and you are putting in so many hours of work with the high quantity listings method. I like the idea of stickers and they are fun to make, but you also have to consider that every sticker you upload is .80 cents per year. If you upload 500 stickers over time, that’s $400 on listing fees alone per year. I love Alek’s videos but this model doesn’t seem sustainable
@@KirbyHenry10 Yeah I also like the idea of this business but unfortunately the high shipping costs that comes with the dropshipping model is making it impossible to compete with people printing at home… I really want to start a POD business but I can’t decide what type of store I should do.. Have you any suggestions? I thought of digital art prints or the general store he has in his series
Hey Alex, I been watching your video for a while now and want to thank you for the info on starting a T-shirt business and the various Chatgpt uses and the other apps, etc. Just wanted to join the conversation and let you know I appreciate the info.
I was having trouble extracting my stickers, so I watched the vid again (and again) and realised I wasn't importing the image into a 12" x 12" @ 300dpi base, that made all the difference 👍 Thanks Alek 😃
Can you share where your downloads for the Photoshop script and Printify scripts can be found? Thank you so much for this great guide and this is now my 2024 goal.
Who on earth is buying these stickers ? Genuine question are you able to show your sales numbers on these and profit margain ? I think these would make little to no money profit wise from my experience doing this years ago.

I'm new to this, and planning on starting an Etsy shop this weekend. I've been planning on it for a LONG time, and kept switching in between different ideas, until I stumbled upon your video. I have a quick question about Printify though: does the sticker design on their website take the shape of the PNG I upload, or will it be just a 2/2 white square with my design on it? It's something I never figured out, and a short explanation before I go on and start making mistakes would be much appreciated xD
This is something I'm wondering too! I want my stickers to be the shape of that I created versus a square with a white background and my image, if that makes sense.
There are both options. It can come cut to the shape while still on a square piece of sticker sheet, that's called kiss cut. If it's all cut to shape including the backing, that's called die cut.
@@cipriandita6406 To clarify, kiss cut is still cut to the shape of the PNG, it just comes with some white around it before it’s peeled off. This is useful if you want to make sticker sheets with multiple stickers. Die cut is for larger stickers where you only want one sticker. So both types will have no white border when they are used. (Assuming your PNG has a transparent background.)
how do you upscale a graphic from ai? can you make a video on it please? Also would like to see videos how to list a number of digital products in one listing. Thanks
Really nice video but can you tell how to remove the background from the stickers when you’re on iPhone because apparently I can’t use command j on iPhone. Also once the sticker is prepared how do we actually upload it to Etsy and start selling? What are the steps because you haven’t mentioned that. Thanks
Alek, thanks for video and channel. One thing has held me back as a novice. Pricing - will this business only succeed if you print and post stickers yourself. Or by using a POD partner like Printfy? As the positing from this equals the product cost. Thanks.
Giving you a like, comment, & subscribe because your videos are awesome and so easy to follow! Your advice is great and I love that you show the free ways! Makes business so much more accessible that way! Keep up the good work :)

Thank your for your tutorial video. One subscriber added. Btw I'm interested in how you manage your collection with the Figma White Board. At 16:02 you said create title tags and SEO once for all images that look alike. How is that possible? Maybe you should make a special video explaining in more detail how you can use Figma to manage your image assets. Thx
Hey Alek, much appreciated! The timing on this video is perfect for me. For selling stickers are you doing big packs of themed stickers or single sticker sales? ( if this is information you want to share ;) ) Regardless amazing video as usual.
One (stupid) question, if you do this do you sell the Png so the people do their own stickers or do you actually sell the stickers cause the web print them for you and deliver it? Thaks
@@lucktrollme1411 in the listing you can sell it as a png for a cheaper price (digital download) then sell it as a actual sticker too more opportunities to sell
@@lucktrollme1411 I make stickers, and people who buy stickers usually like to have the actual sticker, since they might only want one of that sticker. You would either make the stickers yourself (that's what I do), find a company like Sticker Mule to create the stickers then send them to you to send to your customers, or use a print-on-demand company that will print them and send them out to your customers. But you can list the PNG as well, since some people might want to use it to create a lot of stickers, like for a party or something. TBH, as a consumer, its not cost-effective to buy a pack of sticker paper to print one sticker at home.

I just binged your channel almost always without skipping (only if I reeaally knew that bit) because it is just so well-made. I wonder if you would make a video about the upfront investments you will have to make for a proper start. I'll give an example of my thought process (assuming selling t-shirts with AI created motifs on Etsy) - I will probably need a $30 sub for midjourney just to easily and quickly create a bulk of images - is the stealth mode necessary or a nice to have? - ChatGPT can probably be used in free-mode for now, since it will just generate ideas at the moment. - Obviously there is the $0.20 per listing on etsy Is there anything else I should (and COULD) pay for to get started? Anyways, thank you so much for sharing your valuable experience with us!
Thanks so much for your videos I stumbled across you yesterday 😃I have been binge-watching and taking notes so much value. I'm interested in experimenting with incorporating AI into my own design practice as a fashion designer and artist. And I create and make my own art so I want to merge them both we have to move with the times AI is going nowhere! I have so many ideas! Thanks again!
As an artist that actually spends days and weeks drawing my own stickers can y’all stop using AI art. As a consumer also, if the art isn’t drawn by you personally, I’m not interested in buying it. Just crappy that ppl do this.
I enjoyed the content and the ideas but for now I'm just creating stickers at home. I looked into Kittl, Midjourney, and other AI products but the yearly subscription is too much up front for something starting out as a hobby. Good to know that those generators are out there though and maybe one day I will make enough that I can afford to use them.
You do know that the only way this works is by stealing images from actual artists, right? That we’ve spent years learning how to make? And you just have a bot mash together something to claim as your own and SELL. I hope you’re just unaware and not actively ignoring the all the artist protests. Right?
Hey! Thank you so much for this video! II need help finding a link to your online selling shops? I would like to get inspired more! Thanks again! I'll keep watching your channel for sure!
Hi Alek, great video -- thanks for making it so informative, education & fun to watch. A question: why didn't you include the weblink to your webstore with these stickers you've created, so YT viewers could see and hopefully buy them directly? Another question: what are you pricing them at roughly?
I don't fully understand how Creative Market works. When you buy the commercial license, are they in charge of making your stickers and sending them to the buyer? Or do you simply download a program where the stickers are made and you take care of the whole process yourself?
How do you price your stickers because some people are only charging $1 or $2 dollars. Considering the Etsy fees and other platforms that we have to pay for, profit is little to non. Could you please do a video for “How to Price Your Print on Demand Products.” Downloadable Stickers, TShirts, Downloadable Prints for poster and Wall art.
Quick note: MidJourney doesn't use pieces of images; it generates something within a statistical space that is completely original and based on a noise pattern generated from a seed
Very good video! I’m also working on a print on demand automator, will be interesting to see how yours turns out. Can be a game changer for print on demand especially leveraging all of the emerging AI tools, could potentially design and list hundreds of products a day.
So impressed with this video: Very sincere presentation; Extremely informative; And so thorough!- EXCELLENT! ….Thank You for making the time to create this!
I see that you are getting rid of the white border on the stickers when you export to png... Do people prefer to have the white off of the sticker? The mock up shows the white- just wondering if people complain that the white isn't on the sticker?

The store you are showing that are taking in six- and seven-figures...Most of them probably have several streams of income and/or crosspost like crazy to get sales and traffic from every possible avenue. For most of us, we probably work full-time and have families...It would be helpful to see how many hours actually go into making this successful (IF it becomes successful) and what the realistic journey is like.
Why not just start?
@@Th.Alchemist relax, he's just giving his opinion
In other videos, he shows proof of his earnings. He screenshots from Etsy showing how his Etsy income was $0 in 2020 (when he started) and his sales were through the roof the same month of the following year. You won't make money right away. You'll need to post several hundreds of listings and then wait a few months (keep putting up new listings at that time). It takes a few months for the Etsy algorithm to start showing your items higher up in the search (versus paid ads).
I agree, need more proof. This assures users it is truly something that can be done. Not just someone saying, yea its possible, but there are other secrets i wont say.
@@Th.Alchemist dum dum. need stats before pouring money and time in. clearly you've never started something before
As an artist, with skills I’ve developed over the last 15 years, and thousands of lonely hours painting, drawing, practicing with my own hands and my own creativity, I hate this.
lol me too.. ai has no character
😢 I agree! It gives me a sick feeling... No way I will support AI art...
Hate it all you want but consumers are buying tons of AI made products on Etsy and elsewhere
Seriously! AI SUCKS
Kinda missed some important steps. How does one actually produce the product? How much should one charge? How much does it cost to produce the product? What about seo? One can't just post something for sale and expect people to buy it, or even see it. What platforms should one post to? What time frame should one expect to generate the claimed half million in revenue?
It was already an 18 minute video my guy
Disgusting
Exactly this!!
Eventually, "authentic artist creation" will become a selling point lol
wahhh wah
Why is it disgusting? You may not like it but how about you move with the times? Do ai stickers and then offer a premium charge for custom designed ones
Same. :'(
You know what, someone tries to buy my drawings in cheapest price. And that guy said that he can get it too via chatgpt.
This guy is all about money and big numbers
Lol i love small youtubers they are honest with everything and really help you with the information that you are actually looking for
Hey thanks 😅 Trying my best
I know there's absolutely no click bait here and it is totally awesome
Trueeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Instead of selling the information.
@@entertaintech4374 my comment was satire
@@entertaintech4374 only an algorithm isn't a human and a computer doesn't consume information the same way we do.
but whatever.
Actually it's funny to consider it, but Google does not contain every image or piece of art. Only what it has been able to scrape online. Not all art is online. Though if it's being sold online it's more probable.
It’s nice of you to be honest and admit outright that you don’t need skill to do any of this.
Much love
No TYo stand out against all the other AI artists, why not GASP, make the art yourself and stop stealing it from other artists.
like it or not if somebody can generate a image you want 10x faster than a "original" artist can for a cheaper price then most people will go to them... just business keep up

We’re here for MONEY, sir.
Ooooooooh the mock up uploaded sounds great
Its disgusting how many people are running with AI art and these get rich schemes meanwhile real artists that put blood sweat and tears into their original designs and work are sh-t on in all of this, im so tired of where the world is going and its taking the humanity out of art.
thats as maybe but we werent all born with that skill i love doing stuff like this but i cant draw worth a shit so gd luck to u people who have this skill
“Real artists” can use AI to make money too. Level playing field
Maybe take pics of you drawing your actual art and raise the price for it. Or do an experiment and see how much it sells for at auction showing the art authenticity. Ai is here, adapt and overcome.

Just launched my pod sticker business today, thanks @Alek
Great vid. I'd like to see a part 2 of this video showing which pod company you would recommend and selling prices explaining how you get your profit margin, especially with such a low price item. Thanks!
Noted
how do you actually make this a business
Just watch this video. It wasn't complicated. Thank you so much for sharing this
Your videos are awesome.

THANK YOU!! this video is so frustrating to watch as an actual artist and an absolute insult to people who actually put care into what they’re making
SERIOUSLY. So many of these videos coming out recently too. 😖
This video is a great idea.
Here's my advice to you:
If you can't beat them, join them.
Honestly.
So how do we use it with the printer? Did u cut them out by hand?
Just letting you know, until laws are changed, there is a high likelihood that you do not own the commercial license for anything from AI. So you can possibly get sued if your image looks to much like someone else. There is a lot of grey area right now around AI and I would wait to use it for commercial use until all the loose legal ends get tied up.
Me having trouble making a selling stickers, then found this video. Following advice my stickers sell like hot snot, now I am millionaire. Need more Vinyl!

I am having a hard time learning it. Any channels that are easier for Canva users to learn figma? I don't know Photoshop at all.
the shipping of stickers using printify costs $4.2 and most sticker sellers charge $3 per sticker free shipping so numbers don't make sense, unless you sell multiple stickers per client.
Also play around with the amount of stylization using --s 50 to 1000
Sometimes that helps get different results
@@alekSheffy Yes, I did. I'm on MJ since early August, I definitely "speak AI", and I'm an experienced graphic designer :) Trust me, there's nothing I haven't tried, and I still can't get rid of the idiotic thumb covering half the image, or having the design laying on a random sheet...but that's the fun of it, AIs can be moody :)

How do you compete with other sellers that print at home and are able to offer a much cheaper price point? From what I've seen, POD for individual stickers has a low profit margin and high shipping cost, which eats into profits when compared to other sellers. (do you do sticker sheets? also what kind of stickers?)
While I love the idea and your video in general, the $500K number seems absolutely crazy to me without more information about marketing and sourcing.
@@KirbyHenry10 Yeah I also like the idea of this business but unfortunately the high shipping costs that comes with the dropshipping model is making it impossible to compete with people printing at home…

@@krazimitzi oooh, I see. So that’s what the difference between the 2 types of stickers was. Thanks so much!

With starting a recent canvas art business utilizing AI heavily I'm actually super pumped to have found this. Really love your videos and eager to try out the automated scripts you have. Would love to get more info on that asap!
Great thanks for watching! I'm working on them 😅
@@alekSheffy awesome! Curious if you have any sort of social group like a discord or something? I'd love to share my recent idea/business after the inspiration some of your videos gave me. I run a few other entirely different sites as well but the interest of AI-influenced or 'automated' ones definitely intrigue me.
Hiii what do you mean by Canva art business using AI? Please explain :). I’ve been sick w Crohns since for ever and wanna make some money . Please explain .
Isn’t Canva to create posts and websites?
I just binged your channel almost always without skipping (only if I reeaally knew that bit) because it is just so well-made. I wonder if you would make a video about the upfront investments you will have to make for a proper start. I'll give an example of my thought process (assuming selling t-shirts with AI created motifs on Etsy)
- I will probably need a $30 sub for midjourney just to easily and quickly create a bulk of images - is the stealth mode necessary or a nice to have?
- ChatGPT can probably be used in free-mode for now, since it will just generate ideas at the moment.
- Obviously there is the $0.20 per listing on etsy
Is there anything else I should (and COULD) pay for to get started? Anyways, thank you so much for sharing your valuable experience with us!
Thanks so much for your videos I stumbled across you yesterday 😃I have been binge-watching and taking notes so much value. I'm interested in experimenting with incorporating AI into my own design practice as a fashion designer and artist. And I create and make my own art so I want to merge them both we have to move with the times AI is going nowhere! I have so many ideas! Thanks again!
Where do you find your font options? 😊
6 figure income from stickers? That's a lot of damn stickers...
Great video! This might be a stupid question, but once you have the design, how do you turn it into a sticker? i.e., what is the next step?
As an artist that actually spends days and weeks drawing my own stickers can y’all stop using AI art. As a consumer also, if the art isn’t drawn by you personally, I’m not interested in buying it. Just crappy that ppl do this.
🤌🏼 this
I enjoyed the content and the ideas but for now I'm just creating stickers at home.
Right?
Protests?
Hey! I don't want a bunch of people copying my stuff 😅 but you can download the stickers from this video in the description
That’s a bad idea, besides the copycats you also don’t want hundreds of empty clicks driving down your conversion rate
I don't fully understand how Creative Market works. When you buy the commercial license, are they in charge of making your stickers and sending them to the buyer? Or do you simply download a program where the stickers are made and you take care of the whole process yourself?
Ah yes let’s oversaturate the sticker market with AI art so real artist lose sales 🥴🥴
How do you price your stickers because some people are only charging $1 or $2 dollars. Considering the Etsy fees and other platforms that we have to pay for, profit is little to non. Could you please do a video for “How to Price Your Print on Demand Products.”
Downloadable Stickers,
TShirts,
Downloadable Prints for poster and Wall art.
Quick note: MidJourney doesn't use pieces of images; it generates something within a statistical space that is completely original and based on a noise pattern generated from a seed
While being true, that statistical space is generated by studying lots of copyrighted images. A human can be inspired. Can we say the same for AI?
great video! how did you put the white border around the panda again in PS?
Very good video! I’m also working on a print on demand automator, will be interesting to see how yours turns out. Can be a game changer for print on demand especially leveraging all of the emerging AI tools, could potentially design and list hundreds of products a day.
I know! Is a little scary
So impressed with this video: Very sincere presentation; Extremely informative; And so thorough!- EXCELLENT! ….Thank You for making the time to create this!
Wow, thank you!
the easiest way to make money is to teach others how to make money😂
I've made $0 giving my ideas away so far 😅
@@alekSheffy goodluck for your future😄
@@alekSheffy you have 100k subs here and videos with 500k+ views and you are telling us you made 0$ with this kind of videos? :D
I see that you are getting rid of the white border on the stickers when you export to png... Do people prefer to have the white off of the sticker? The mock up shows the white- just wondering if people complain that the white isn't on the sticker?
