I was one of those delivery drivers delivering supplies to the hospitals in Bellevue,Wa until this last fri when I was furloughed until this is all over.
I stopped working when she said “it’s just her job” 😢 This one made me cry 💔 Thank you so much to all of you on the front lines of all of this! I couldn’t imagine not seeing my family or being away from home during this time.

My daughter works in the emergency room in a hospital in New York. My son shows me this video every week and he is helping me write this comment. I want to thank you John for helping the hospital workers and giving them a shout out every week to show how hard my daughter and all those that are coming together to help fight this are working. I look forward every week to something good during this time. I worry for my daughter everyday and thank you for giving us 20 minutes once a week of happiness and laughter. Keep doing what your doing because I think we need something like this now more than ever.
The segment on patients leaving the hospital especially warmed my heart. I survived Covid 19 and know the glorious feeling to see my family as I'm wheeled out the door.

That's funny but have you ever compared store bought lasagna to a home-made one? There is no comparison, home-made wins every time. It may seem like a hassle to make your own, but in reality it is not that difficult. You will also be more satisfied in the quality and taste of your lasagna if you make it yourself. It’s a great meal to share with your family or just to save in the refrigerator and eat throughout the week. If you are conscious about your health this lasagna will be good to make because it uses chicken not meat. In order to make this lasagna you need to gather your ingredients, prepare the ingredients, and put the dish together and bake it. To bake anything you need to preheat your oven, this recipe calls for the oven to be at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. After you preheat your oven you can wash your hands. Dry your hands then bring out the tools and ingredients you will be using. As far as tools go you will need a rectangular pan, two deep pots, foil paper, two deep bowls, cooking spray, a spoon, knife, strainer and spatula. Once you have all your tools together you can set them aside and start getting your ingredients. You will need un-cooked lasagna noodles, marina sauce, ricotta cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, two raw medium sized chicken breasts, salt, garlic cloves, one onion and one egg. If you’d like a healthier version you can always substitute with wheat pasta and fat free cheese. Now that you have all your tools and ingredients you are ready to start preparing your ingredients. The most important part of making this dish is how you prepare the ingredients. Bring out your two deep pots and fill both of them halfway with water, then place both pots on a hot stove. Once the water begins to boil take out the noodles from the box and put them all in the pot, also take the raw chicken and boil it in the other pot. Peel the onion and garlic, then cut the onion in half and separate the rings and put both ingredients into the pot with the raw chicken. While the pasta and chicken are cooking, in one of your bowls get a spoon and pour the ricotta cheese in the bowl, then crack your egg into the bowl and mix them together. After the noodles are fully cooked drain them with your strainer and set them aside. Also drain the chicken, leaving the onion and garlic in the pot because you won’t need them after that. When the chicken cools off start shredding it into the other bowl you brought out. Mix in the marina sauce with the shredded chicken until the chicken is evenly coated. You’ve prepared your ingredients now it’s time to put everything together. No lasagna looks perfect so instead of trying to make it look perfect, focus on getting as much pasta, chicken and cheese as you can in there. Prepare your pan by spraying it with cooking spray so nothing sticks. Start off by laying down three or four (depending on your pan size) noodles diagonally down into your pan. Grab the ricotta cheese mixture and evenly spread it on the noodles. After the noodles are covered with cheese begin to spread the chicken and marina sauce on top of the cheese. Finally, sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the chicken then repeat the previous four steps until there is no room left in the pan. Once your pan is completely full cover it tightly in foil paper, and put it in the oven. Let the lasagna cook for about an hour, then remove the foil and put it back into the oven for about ten minutes. Once the lasagna is done cooking take it out, let it cool, and then serve it. Now that you see the entire process of making lasagna you can see how simple it is to make one. You can impress friends and family with the seemingly complicated dish you made in about an hour. Don’t get caught up on the aesthetics but more on the taste. I’ve made a messy lasagna that ended up tasting delicious. Don’t be discouraged if it doesn’t come out amazing the first time around, that’s what practice is for. If you find that other ingredients work better then use them, it’s a very flexible dish. Just follow the basic guidelines and it should come out great every time. Most importantly remember that it is a fun dish that should be shared with friends and family. So next time your family wants a store bought lasagna dazzle them with a significantly better home-made one.

My mom is so hopeful for these poor people and I can tell every time she comes home she is sad because she is worried about her parents and the rest of her family but she still hold hope for her patients. Just recently one of her patients left the hospital and that moment will be with her forever. As a teacher I get to see a lot of emotion through my students. This has been a tough time for them, because they don’t know what’s next and they don’t fully understand it either. My daughter works in the emergency room in a hospital in New York. My son shows me this video every week and he is helping me write this comment. I want to thank you John for helping the hospital workers and giving them a shout out every week to show how hard my daughter and all those that are coming together to help fight this are working. I look forward every week to something good during this time. I worry for my daughter everyday and thank you for giving us 20 minutes once a week of happiness and laughter. That's funny but have you ever compared store bought lasagna to a home-made one? There is no comparison, home-made wins every time. It may seem like a hassle to make your own, but in reality it is not that difficult. You will also be more satisfied in the quality and taste of your lasagna if you make it yourself. It’s a great meal to share with your family or just to save in the refrigerator and eat throughout the week. If you are conscious about your health this lasagna will be good to make because it uses chicken not meat.
In order to make this lasagna you need to gather your ingredients, prepare the ingredients, and put the dish together and bake it. To bake anything you need to preheat your oven, this recipe calls for the oven to be at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. After you preheat your oven you can wash your hands. Dry your hands then bring out the tools and ingredients you will be using.
As far as tools go you will need a rectangular pan, two deep pots, foil paper, two deep bowls, cooking spray, a spoon, knife, strainer and spatula.
Once you have all your tools together you can set them aside and start getting your ingredients. You will need un-cooked lasagna noodles, marina sauce, ricotta cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, two raw medium sized chicken breasts, salt, garlic cloves, one onion and one egg. If you’d like a healthier version you can always substitute with wheat pasta and fat free cheese. Now that you have all your tools and ingredients you are ready to start preparing your ingredients. The most important part of making this dish is how you prepare the ingredients.
Bring out your two deep pots and fill both of them halfway with water, then place both pots on a hot stove. Once the water begins to boil take out the noodles from the box and put them all in the pot, also take the raw chicken and boil it in the other pot. Peel the onion and garlic, then cut the onion in half and separate the rings and put both ingredients into the pot with the raw chicken. While the pasta and chicken are cooking, in one of your bowls get a spoon and pour the ricotta cheese in the bowl, then crack your egg into the bowl and mix them together.
After the noodles are fully cooked drain them with your strainer and set them aside. Also drain the chicken, leaving the onion and garlic in the pot because you won’t need them after that. When the chicken cools off start shredding it into the other bowl you brought out. Mix in the marina sauce with the shredded chicken until the chicken is evenly coated. You’ve prepared your ingredients now it’s time to put everything together. No lasagna looks perfect so instead of trying to make it look perfect, focus on getting as much pasta, chicken and cheese as you can in there.
Prepare your pan by spraying it with cooking spray so nothing sticks. Start off by laying down three or four (depending on your pan size) noodles diagonally down into your pan. Grab the ricotta cheese mixture and evenly spread it on the noodles. After the noodles are covered with cheese begin to spread the chicken and marina sauce on top of the cheese. Finally, sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the chicken then repeat the previous four steps until there is no room left in the pan.
Once your pan is completely full cover it tightly in foil paper, and put it in the oven. Let the lasagna cook for about an hour, then remove the foil and put it back into the oven for about ten minutes. Once the lasagna is done cooking take it out, let it cool, and then serve it. Now that you see the entire process of making lasagna you can see how simple it is to make one. You can impress friends and family with the seemingly complicated dish you made in about an hour. Don’t get caught up on the aesthetics but more on the taste.
I’ve made a messy lasagna that ended up tasting delicious. Don’t be discouraged if it doesn’t come out amazing the first time around, that’s what practice is for. If you find that other ingredients work better then use them, it’s a very flexible dish. Just follow the basic guidelines and it should come out great every time. Most importantly remember that it is a fun dish that should be shared with friends and family. So next time your family wants a store bought lasagna dazzle them with a significantly better home-made one.

Because while other late night shows focus on nothing but negatives, John decided to focus on the positive. He isn't driving himself crazy with just negative stuff like Myers and Colbert.

I've had dibilitating anxiety about this virus. I reallyyyy needed to hear that respiratory doctor say that people are coming off ventilators and making full recoveries. I hear nothing but negative and doom. Living in the epicenter of this thing, I NEED some positive. Thank you John.

B K I heard that one of the hospitals in New York play music over the loud speakers whenever someone gets off a ventilator. I forget what song they play, but everyone in the hospital gets the celebrate! Hang in there ❤️
