Bach-Siloti Organ Prelude in e minor (James Barbagallo Pianist)

These wonderful recordings are part of a project to produce an album of Bach-Siloti transcriptions. Tragically, the Pianist James Barbagallo died unexpectedly before the project was completed. Recorded in December of 1995.
This transcription is derived from Bach's Organ Prelude and Fugue in e minor (BWV 555).

Had James lived, we would have recorded all of the Bach-Siloti piano transcriptions. These were recorded for Naxos at Fisher Hall in Santa Rosa, Sonoma County, California. James was a joy to work with, and to be with.
