Who else thinks it's amazing that kids are getting into playing instruments? Especially piano! Every time I stood in front of a piano or looked at one as a kid, I get intimidated by one immediately, but I'm trying out guitar soon. So YAY for me!
I used to play the piano but it broke. I learned the whole gravity falls song on it. It's getting repaired. It broke because it short-circuited a year ago. I recently asked my dad if he can get it fixed
Was cool to see all the kids having a shot, good on them for giving it a go in public, while on camera too, I feel like a lot of people who haven't performed in front of an audience before really underestimate just how hard it can be for some people, and nice playing yourself, I really should get my keyboards out and practice more, I'm not a piano player by any means, I'm a guitarist, but I do like playing now and then, I don't know why, but there's something kinda special about the sound of a piano.
I'm a few months late, but Joe just really knows how to savor the pieces he play. He puts in his own style to it, while remaining true to the piece without as much flashy alterations. I guess in a way, his music is just sincere and delicate yet filled with emotion and passion. Hope you never lose your spark, Joe! You're a one of a kind musician.
Loved it ! My sister used to play piano , she started back in the mid 1960's when she was in 3rd grade . By 6th grade she had played at the shell at Balboa Park in San Diego during a concert . As a kid I always liked listening to her play and she continued to play at home until near her death at age 54 . Listening to that took me back and brings mixed emotions but I still love hearing the piano all by itself .
To see people still appreciating piano warms my heart as I have been playing for 22 years and to see this amount of talent man I can't get over how happy I am.
Can we just take a moment to appreciate how steady the videographer for Joe. I thought for sure he had some sort of stabilizer, but you can see at 2:42 that he is just holding the camera. Brilliant job
You good, have some more confidence in yourself. Certain things that you don't try to do in the moment you won't be able to ever try to do again. Just go for it, the most that could go wrong in most circumstances is a couple laughs, or for a serious thing just go for it cause if you make a mistake you go for it again and recover stronger than you were before.
bro youre playing with the little girl in the beginning was so sweet :) ngl that made her whole day i can guarantee you! great job good personality keep rocking sir!
look, I love the sound of the piano and I’m so happy someone is still doing this out there. You made my day. I hope to be able to play as good as you when I get older.
My cold heart melted when the little girl started playing...then my eye caught the little boy flossing in the background and it turned to ice once more.
That last arrangement has so much cool stuff in it, my favorite being those dissonant non chord tones in the left hand nearing the end. Beautifully done🔥🔥🔥

There's something completely magical about Japanese OST composers. They are able to mix such a wide variety of emotions in a single composition, I've listened to hundreds of soundtracks but get blown away each and every time.
I could give you some examples like: Howl's Moving Castle Main Theme Lights and Shadow - League of Legends Firelink Shrine & Gwyn, Lord of Cinder - Dark Souls Or Elfen Lied's OP theme
I don't like them that much tbh. Older European or modern Russian compositions i like more since they are less hectic and don't break midst melody multiple times. Japanese OSTs are much more pop influenced which i don't think fits to piano.

But when we stumbled across Demon Slayer I had that Childhood feeling again before the end of the first episode. The story and music just talks to something in me that returns me to that feeling of getting off the bus and running home to catch the anime block of toonami on cartoon network. Again, this music was amazing! Thank you.

Rip your sister, may her soul Rest In Peace.

You good, have some more confidence in yourself. Certain things that you don't try to do in the moment you won't be able to ever try to do again. Just go for it, the most that could go wrong in most circumstances is a couple laughs, or for a serious thing just go for it cause if you make a mistake you go for it again and recover stronger than you were before.

idk why but I feel alot of emotion and goosebumps when you play the piano. it makes me wanna cry but not for a sad reason, I cant explain it.
There's something completely magical about Japanese OST composers. They are able to mix such a wide variety of emotions in a single composition, I've listened to hundreds of soundtracks but get blown away each and every time.
Can u share some of those tracks?
yes yes please share
I could give you some examples like:
Howl's Moving Castle Main Theme
Lights and Shadow - League of Legends
Firelink Shrine & Gwyn, Lord of Cinder - Dark Souls
Or Elfen Lied's OP theme
Yeah. They can boost your energy and hype you and then give you a heavy shot of nostalgia on the next bar, they're crazy.
I don't like them that much tbh. Older European or modern Russian compositions i like more since they are less hectic and don't break midst melody multiple times. Japanese OSTs are much more pop influenced which i don't think fits to piano.
