Subscribe :) My settings: Cine D contrast from -2 to + 4. I've changed the contrast a lot of time while shooting depending on the situation. White balance set to sun! colours -1 and increased in post more and less. Master Pedestal level from -2 and +8 (depending the situation) Just make always sure that it looks already good in camera. I did some colour gradin in post. - ภาพยนตร์และแอนิเมชัน
I love that you still shoot gh5, a wonderful little camera.
I just sold my first gh5 this week after years of use. Still have my gh5m2 though and I took a leap of faith and ordered g9ii to act as my a-cam.
Anyone watching these videos, wondering about if gh5 or gh5m2 is still viable today - it absolutely is. I think it's a viable camera for small video enterpreteurs for years to come.
Thank you very much for your comment! The G9II is also a camera I would get if my GH5 will stop to work.. But shooting with it since 7 years now It's still a great camera :) The G9II even better of course
@@kenslyder do you have instagram?
That was mesmerizing! I have a noobie question! You mention a lot of different lenses in the description. Did you use all of them of each different shot, or did you used one as a default? I am thinking about purchasing a similar set, but my budget is limited to 1-2 lenses.
Keep up the good job!
Hi :) Thanks for your question! In this video I used only the Kit lens that came with the GH5. It's the Leica 12-60mm 2.8. I have a whole video where I compare all my lenses that I have together and showing the differences and what they do. If you want to check that video out, I will link it down here :) Thanks for your support! th-cam.com/video/ugolxKxc0Cg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ICqUgjaDDEWs4fPr
@@kenslyder Thank you for your time, and info! I will definitely check it! :)
@@Jordyssey You’re welcome, any time ☺️
Thanks for this man, you've given me inspiration on going out there and shooting. Sometimes you just need to see other people's work to get inspired.
You're welcome man! This is why I also like to see other people work too. :))
I m completely agree with this commentary! Thank you man
Nice I still have My GH5/GH5s
great cams!
Very nice land , very nice footage 👍
thank you very much !
Amazing! This camera is truly perfect in the hands of a professional. The sounds are also well chosen. Man this is very inspiring. How long did post-production take?
Oh man thank you a lot! I'm not pro yet I just know the camera a little and I was testing around with the cine d mode. I did most of the work on set. exposing, setting contrast in cine d, more and less. Tested around with the master pedestal level, sometimes when I wanted to lift the blacks and shadows a little more. When it looked good for me on the lcd, I started record.
It took me about 3 hours on set and 6 hours in post with all the sound effect's. No audio were recorded. So I've finished it in the same day. Thank you for your support bro !
@@kenslyder Thanks for your reply! It's like a music video (in length and quality), and you did it in one day. This is great!
I recently shared your videos with my friends, some of them subscribed. Keep up the good work.
what a big support for me thank you so so much. I don't know how I deserve this, I hit 30 more subs since yesterday🤯 and they great people. You have good friends bro!
Oh my dear !!!!! ❤
Bro I got sucked in ..literally! Nice work.
Hey, thank you very much bro !
I have a gh5m2 and I love what your doing, I do have a question. When you're panning side to side why does it feel stuttery, its like a weird shutter thing happening with the highlights (notable from 1:06 - 1:12) I've experienced this on my own as well, would like prevent it.
Hi I appreciate it! Yes it's stuttery because I was filming in 24p in a "wrong" way. And my shutter speed was to high. When filming at 24p Speed the frame rate should be double. That means the shutter speed should be at 50. That way you get motion Blur instead of stuttering. But to decrease my shutter speed I would have needed ND filters. If you want to prevent stuttery, film at 30p or 60p or use ND filters when filming at 24p or close the aperture until your shutter speed is correct
@@kenslyder thank you! I’ve been trying to figure out why this happens! I guess it’s time to buy a variable ND
You can mitigate this in Davinci resolve by turning retime scale to optical flow. However, if there is a lot of small details in focus, like some geometrical pattern, a wireframe fence etc. it might cause some artifacts.
@@KriittinenUusinta wow that is awesome 😃 I didn't know about it. Now I just have to figure it out how it works in Final Cut Pro X
@@kenslyder i have no idea as I haven't used final cut, but quick google showed some promising results so I think it's possible
I might be wrong, but it seems you didnt set the autofocus on OFF, it just focuses on random things in and out. Or maybe you wanted that trippy effect... Anyway, nice colors. They say gh5 dont have a great dynamic range, but i think it can be stretched very nicely with nice contrast and vivid natural colors.
I know that happens with the GH5. Most of the times when I'm editing the footage I almost can't notice it until I see the final picture on a bigger screen. I filmed with autofocus on in purpose but I also filmed a small part of the video with manual focus. Here in the video I'm filming in 24p while moving the camera and it creates motion blur. That's why the footage seems to be out of focus most of the times too. I'm not expecting the autofocus to be great on that camera Panasonic just introduced 2 new cameras with a phase detect autofocus this year which makes auto-focusing much more reliable in the future. cheers
Dope ❤
Thanks man , 🙌🙏
wow, I wish you could show me how to set it up on the GH5 because your videos look great
