Trying to make someone believe in Jesus is like setting up an arranged marriage and expecting both parties to love each other before they even know each other. My husband isn't a believer but is opening to understanding what Christianity actually is. He came across your video Johnny on jubilee and he was shocked at how the others debated and just kept trying to shut down the conversation. I've noticed that too esp when I watched every askcliff videos, the pastor who goes to university to answer college students questions. Most of the students ask because they want to prove their point in which when it was answered differently, they cut pastor cliff off and do not accept his answer.

It’s great to hear Johnny‘s perspective, and I was so glad to have him there on the Christian side of our Middle Ground episode. It’s crazy because the founder of Jubilee (Jason Lee) is Christian, and when I did a Middle Ground episode back in 2019 the producer told me that most of the Jubilee team members were Christian. However, their content took a sharp turn toward pleasing a secular audience around that same time, and it was actually pretty traumatizing when I was cast in their Spectrum series. I honestly don’t know what’s going on, but I do pray for them to be the media company that I believe they set out to be in the beginning. 🙏🏽

And if we are being honest, that middle ground episode was more like 4 vs 5. The biracial guy on the Christian side who professed the name of Jesus, but seemed to identify more with his LGBT title than a follower of Christ. That was not fair to the other 4 and I do believe Jubilee set that up with deceptive intent.

I have heard multiple people complain about Jubilee cutting them off in the middle ground episodes. Jubilee deceptively edits the videos a lot of the time to push whatever agenda they want to push.
That's the cost of talking on someone else's platform. If they don't want to spread what you're saying they can deplatform you. It's not a good reflection on the one with the platform in this case but they are well within their rights to do it.

I said a prayer today that I have strayed from His path and repented for my sins and prayed for His mercy. I prayed that I am just now getting my footing back, and asked for His patience with me as I get it back as it could take a little time. I am learning we have to pray for people’s souls daily. I remember when I used to be closed off to hearing about sin, and it was only because I was under demonic control. The demon of fear had me! I was upset that he was cut off, because I know he was on to a very good and important message to share, and they completely shut him out. And he took it very humbly. But I'm glad he also has his own channel where he can speak freely on the words of God without being cut off. God leads him with great humility, and it's all the Glory to God for his words that can open man's heart and mind to the truth, and to be good servant of his word to help others see and know the truth. Right, but even the Bible says to have answers for every man. Many of the apostles debated when they went into various cities to spread their message because people had questions for them. Which naturally, became a debate. Though the bible also says to wipe the dust off your feet if others will not hear your words. Jesus himself said he’s the way, the truth and the life. No other god from any other religion claimed that. God cannot lie, otherwise as you’ve mentioned, he would be breaking his own law. That’s why Christ is the only way to salvation, the only way we can get to God because of what He had done on the cross. He died for you and me. That’s how he showed us the ultimate way of love: by giving up his life for us. The Bible is a combination of 66 books, it’s full of events that happened, and are lessons that we now can learn from so that we can live our life that pleases God. It does not have contradictions, it’s all connected. Unless you take sentences or some texts out of context, then of course you’d think something’s off. Faith is exactly this. Believing in something we don’t see, but all followers of Christ have experienced the presence of God, a miracle from God. We all have a testimony to share. Man, it’s unexplainable.

No other book has so many similarities as the new testament has with the old. Though there are countless denominations and religions, one must have the Word of God, which is the Bible, as a base and sort of a guide for life. How will you know God’s will if not through His Word? Surely, God speaks with everyone! It is through the Bible that we learn about how we can be saved. Jesus knew Judas would betray him for money, He knew and still decided to wash Judas’ feet. He still demonstrated love towards someone who would later dishonor and betray him. Like this, Judas ended up committing suicide. That’s why Jesus is an example of how we should be. Christians are exactly that. Followers of Christ. Jesus didn’t command us to create denominations. He said “Follow Me”, that’s it. Our purpose is to tell the whole world about Jesus, about how we can be saved. Jesus died for our sins so we wouldn’t have to go to hell, so we wouldn’t spend an eternity in hell. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his only son so that anyone who believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life”. The only thing you must do to obtain eternal life, is to accept Christ as your Lord and Savior, turn away from your sin and trust in Jesus with your life.

From the entire conversation and video, you could see they did not want to listen, they just wanted to make their point heard. This is the main problem with atheists, mostly (people who believe other faiths are generally much more respectful). But I don't blame them, I used to be the exact same way. I only learned the importance of listening from Christianity to begin with.

I enjoy watching Jubilee's videos. That said, I've always had the feeling the producers are liberals and I never felt they were Christian. I have to say though, I respect how they don't shy away from controversial subjects and seem to facilitate mostly good faith discussion and debate. Despite their mostly neutral stance, they can't help but inject some of their own biases. They tend to over represent people of the LGBT community (even though I'm a man and attracted to men, I don't consider myself a part of that community). I've had my suspicions, but couldn't confirm because I'm not at those recordings, but I always felt they cut alot of the meat/heart of what's being said by those they disagree with. This video would seem to confirm those suspicions. Lastly, I've noticed they sometimes will quietly play the sound of a slightly elevated heartbeat in the background while certain people are speaking. Almost as if to cause people to become subconsciously anxious while those people are speaking. Overall, I'm glad they're having these conversations and I think they can help bring awareness of other opinions and points of view outside of their echo chamber and may help people to learn there's more out there. I've noticed that too esp when I watched every askcliff videos, the pastor who goes to university to answer college students questions. Most of the students ask because they want to prove their point in which when it was answered differently, they cut pastor cliff off and do not accept his answer.

It’s great to hear Johnny‘s perspective, and I was so glad to have him there on the Christian side of our Middle Ground episode.
It’s crazy because the founder of Jubilee (Jason Lee) is Christian, and when I did a Middle Ground episode back in 2019 the producer told me that most of the Jubilee team members were Christian. However, their content took a sharp turn toward pleasing a secular audience around that same time, and it was actually pretty traumatizing when I was cast in their Spectrum series.
I honestly don’t know what’s going on, but I do pray for them to be the media company that I believe they set out to be in the beginning. 🙏🏽

And if we are being honest, that middle ground episode was more like 4 vs 5. I have heard multiple people complain about Jubilee cutting them off in the middle ground episodes. Jubilee deceptively edits the videos a lot of the time to push whatever agenda they want to push.
That's the cost of talking on someone else's platform. If they don't want to spread what you're saying they can deplatform you. It's not a good reflection on the one with the platform in this case but they are well within their rights to do it.

Tbf though, all reality TV is deceptively edited. Shows that claim to be authentic are highly scripted. Contestants are told to play a specific character and if they don't the producers will find a way to get rid of them

I am learning we have to pray for people’s souls daily. I remember when I used to be closed off to hearing about sin, and it was only because I was under demonic control. The demon of fear had me! I was terrified of God… and remember thinking I couldn’t face Jesus Christ but at the same time knowing he’s real.

The Bible is a combination of 66 books, it’s full of events that happened, and are lessons that we now can learn from so that we can live our life that pleases God. It does not have contradictions, it’s all connected. Unless you take sentences or some texts out of context, then of course you’d think something’s off.
Faith is exactly this. Believing in something we don’t see, but all followers of Christ have experienced the presence of God, a miracle from God. We all have a testimony to share. Man, it’s unexplainable.

Jesus knew Judas would betray him for money, He knew and still decided to wash Judas’ feet. He still demonstrated love towards someone who would later dishonor and betray him. Like this, Judas ended up committing suicide.
That’s why Jesus is an example of how we should be. Christians are exactly that. Followers of Christ.
Jesus didn’t command us to create denominations. He said “Follow Me”, that’s it.
Our purpose is to tell the whole world about Jesus, about how we can be saved.
Jesus died for our sins so we wouldn’t have to go to hell, so we wouldn’t spend an eternity in hell.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his only son so that anyone who believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life”.
The only thing you must do to obtain eternal life, is to accept Christ as your Lord and Savior, turn away from your sin and trust in Jesus with your life.

That interview was so hard to watch. The believers being attacked for just believing was hard to witness. They haven’t hurt any of those people. I have so much respect for Johnny for keeping his cool.

TH-cam works in strange ways, I literally watched that Middle Ground two hours ago and the next time I open TH-cam there’s a response from my favorite person from that episode.

From the entire conversation and video, you could see they did not want to listen, they just wanted to make their point heard. This is the main problem with atheists, mostly (people who believe other faiths are generally much more respectful). But I don't blame them, I used to be the exact same way. I only learned the importance of listening from Christianity to begin with.

This guy has lived the life of a Gangster, which, if i may say, is a very RADICALLY sinful lifestyle. So much so that i dont even think Johnny is proud to disclosed some of the more radical details of his gangster life, but regardless, he found forgiveness in accepting the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ into his life. Love this guy's message. Hes such an awesome contributor to the gospel.

I had paranoia, anxiety, anger, and intrusive thoughts throughout long periods in my life until I found faith.
I enjoy watching Jubilee's videos. That said, I've always had the feeling the producers are liberals and I never felt they were Christian. I have to say though, I respect how they don't shy away from controversial subjects and seem to facilitate mostly good faith discussion and debate.
Despite their mostly neutral stance, they can't help but inject some of their own biases. They tend to over represent people of the LGBT community (even though I'm a man and attracted to men, I don't consider myself a part of that community). I've had my suspicions, but couldn't confirm because I'm not at those recordings, but I always felt they cut alot of the meat/heart of what's being said by those they disagree with. This video would seem to confirm those suspicions.
Lastly, I've noticed they sometimes will quietly play the sound of a slightly elevated heartbeat in the background while certain people are speaking. Almost as if to cause people to become subconsciously anxious while those people are speaking.
Overall, I'm glad they're having these conversations and I think they can help bring awareness of other opinions and points of view outside of their echo chamber and may help people to learn there's more out there. It's far better than what we get from the mainstream media by all measures.
I agree if their hearts were open people would make room for God. Unfortunately they can’t debate the truth. The truth is the truth and that’s it. People don’t get their own truths.
