Bro forreal, I hate that Christianity is grouped with other religions when it shouldn’t be, or when all the “ex Christian’s” were never truly Christian’s, there was so much questionable things said by some of the “Christian’s” especially the guy who said he was gay and Christian it’s a contradiction

@@Deestroyer82 the reason debating these things is pointless is because of bias. This is a heart matter, not something that can be explained. Trying to make someone believe in Jesus is like setting up an arranged marriage and expecting both parties to love each other before they even know each other. It all happens in God's timing, and it's not more or less likely depending on what you know.

My husband isn't a believer but is opening to understanding what Christianity actually is. He came across your video Johnny on jubilee and he was shocked at how the others debated and just kept trying to shut down the conversation. He actually started to follow you on Instagram and a few other like minded people. He did question why Christians are really hated and it has definitely opened him up to hear the gospel. I met Johnny this past year. He spoke at my church (he lives/ministers not too far from where I live). He's one of the most humble, down to Earth guys I've ever met. Real solid dude!

Jason pissed me off the most.
I was upset that he was cut off, because I know he was on to a very good and important message to share, and they completely shut him out. And he took it very humbly. But I'm glad he also has his own channel where he can speak freely on the words of God without being cut off. God leads him with great humility, and it's all the Glory to God for his words that can open man's heart and mind to the truth, and to be good servant of his word to help others see and know the truth. God bless this brother for his humility and teachings, and that he comes with compassion for others❤

I've noticed that too esp when I watched every askcliff videos, the pastor who goes to university to answer college students questions. Most of the students ask because they want to prove their point in which when it was answered differently, they cut pastor cliff off and do not accept his answer.

It’s great to hear Johnny‘s perspective, and I was so glad to have him there on the Christian side of our Middle Ground episode.
It’s crazy because the founder of Jubilee (Jason Lee) is Christian, and when I did a Middle Ground episode back in 2019 the producer told me that most of the Jubilee team members were Christian. However, their content took a sharp turn toward pleasing a secular audience around that same time, and it was actually pretty traumatizing when I was cast in their Spectrum series.
I honestly don’t know what’s going on, but I do pray for them to be the media company that I believe they set out to be in the beginning. 🙏🏽

I have heard multiple people complain about Jubilee cutting them off in the middle ground episodes. Jubilee deceptively edits the videos a lot of the time to push whatever agenda they want to push.
That's the cost of talking on someone else's platform. If they don't want to spread what you're saying they can deplatform you. It's not a good reflection on the one with the platform in this case but they are well within their rights to do it.

Tbf though, all reality TV is deceptively edited. Shows that claim to be authentic are highly scripted. Contestants are told to play a specific character and if they don't the producers will find a way to get rid of them

I just think that we shouldn't be surprised, we should expect someone to put out whatever message they intend to with their reality shows just as we would with a fictional show.

And if we are being honest, that middle ground episode was more like 4 vs 5. The biracial guy on the Christian side who professed the name of Jesus, but seemed to identify more with his LGBT title than a follower of Christ. That was not fair to the other 4 and I do believe Jubilee set that up with deceptive intent.

I actually watch the vid. Can't even finish it, it's so uncomfortable. This vid is spot on, on what I was feeling from it.

That interview was so hard to watch. The believers being attacked for just believing was hard to witness. They haven’t hurt any of those people. I have so much respect for Johnny for keeping his cool.
One believer got "attacked" by the other "believers" just because he knows with absolute divine certainty for whom he likes and loves, but he didn't fit their cult-driven narrative, so they tried so hard to push him into becoming straight, utterly disgusting...

Jesus himself said he’s the way, the truth and the life. No other god from any other religion claimed that. God cannot lie, otherwise as you’ve mentioned, he would be breaking his own law. That’s why Christ is the only way to salvation, the only way we can get to God because of what He had done on the cross. He died for you and me. That’s how he showed us the ultimate way of love: by giving up his life for us.
The Bible is a combination of 66 books, it’s full of events that happened, and are lessons that we now can learn from so that we can live our life that pleases God. It does not have contradictions, it’s all connected. Unless you take sentences or some texts out of context, then of course you’d think something’s off.
Faith is exactly this. Believing in something we don’t see, but all followers of Christ have experienced the presence of God, a miracle from God. We all have a testimony to share. Man, it’s unexplainable.
@@dylanlawrence6272 The Bible is not a copy of anything. The Holy Spirit wrote it through men, in the course of many and many years. That’s why it’s unique. No other book has so many similarities as the new testament has with the old. Matter of fact, the new testament is about Jesus coming to fulfill the law, fulfill what has been written and said in the old testament.
Though there are countless denominations and religions, one must have the Word of God, which is the Bible, as a base and sort of a guide for life. How will you know God’s will if not through His Word?
Surely, God speaks with everyone! But it is through the Bible that we get faith and get to know God, His personality, His will, His son, what He likes and what he doesn’t. It is through the Bible that we learn about how we can be saved.
Jesus knew Judas would betray him for money, He knew and still decided to wash Judas’ feet. He still demonstrated love towards someone who would later dishonor and betray him. Like this, Judas ended up committing suicide.
That’s why Jesus is an example of how we should be. Christians are exactly that. Followers of Christ.
Jesus didn’t command us to create denominations. He said “Follow Me”, that’s it.
Our purpose is to tell the whole world about Jesus, about how we can be saved.
Jesus died for our sins so we wouldn’t have to go to hell, so we wouldn’t spend an eternity in hell.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his only son so that anyone who believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life”.
The only thing you must do to obtain eternal life, is to accept Christ as your Lord and Savior, turn away from your sin and trust in Jesus with your life.

I said a prayer today that I have strayed from His path and repented for my sins and prayed for His mercy. I prayed that I am just now getting my footing back, and asked for His patience with me as I get it back as it could take a little time. But I accepted Him into my heart and made my intentions very clear on wanting to walk with Him. My intentions are very genuine and I hope my God sees that inside my heart. ❤️🙏🏼

I am learning we have to pray for people’s souls daily. I remember when I used to be closed off to hearing about sin, and it was only because I was under demonic control. The demon of fear had me! I was terrified of God… and remember thinking I couldn’t face Jesus Christ but at the same time knowing he’s real.

TH-cam works in strange ways, I literally watched that Middle Ground two hours ago and the next time I open TH-cam there’s a response from my favorite person from that episode.

I think the hardest conversation for all of us to wrap our minds around is, God allows each of us as individuals to have different struggles with sin. Some of our sin will be drinking; for some pornography and objectifying the worth human beings; and in the jubilee video; Homosexuallity/The lgbt community. I do NOT believe that people are born gay, however, i do believe people are born with the sinful nature to pursue homosexual desires. We serve a God that can overcome the desires of our body and mind through Him. Those things then become God's way of revealing Himself to others that may never go to church or didnt grow up in or around a bliblical background. I wish something like this was said on that Jubilee Discussion. I think Habitual Sin is denying the power that God could have in someone's life. Jesus is the embodiment of love, we're all called to love one another. But as we know, love hurts sometimes. How will we ever know what's "wrong" or "right" if there was never someone who went through it. That's why Jesus paid it all, & all to Him I owe. My sin left a crimson stain, and He washed it white as snow. Amen 😇

What’s sad is marginalizing minorities. Saying that “sin” such as LGBTQ relationships are a cancer is obviously going to incite more hate and aggression towards these people, I thought that’s not what Christian’s want.
“It’s not us that are hurting you” it literally is though. Organized religion as a whole invites violence, and it has as far as history goes back. This is because of these in and out groups.
When you go on a video that will get millions of views and say that sin is a cancer, people will internalize that.
It’s not that telling an LGBTQ person that they are going to hell is causing all the damage, it’s mostly telling OTHER people the LGBTQ are going to hell, which inevitably makes them prejudiced and bigoted.
I hope you can understand that when a very large portion of a country believes certain people are going to hell for something that isn’t harming anyone, those people are naturally going to hate on those “sinners”. It does not matter how much you tell a snake to not bite you. Once it realizes you’re food or threat, it’s going to bite you eventually.
