The pancreas has dual roles - it is an organ of the digestive system and of the endocrine system. The exocrine pancreas produces enzymes that help to digest food, particularly protein. The endocrine pancreas makes the hormone insulin, which helps to control blood sugar levels.

I watched his interview, then the first interview on this channel. A couple of months later I was going THROUGH it and had just got out of a meeting with my manager about starting therapy and I was so overwhelmed wondering how I was going to continue with life. As I step back on the floor to go back to work I saw Johnny shopping. I talked to him for a bit, and I went home and cried so hard. it's been a year since and I watch him almost daily on Instagram. I pray daily and my mental health has improved tremendously. I am forever grateful and will never forget this story.

Hi Catholic here, had to pause the video to correct Johnny about this part 16:24
This is what our catechism says about suicide & what we actually believe
    • “grave psychological disturbances, anguish, or grave fear of hardship, suffering, or torture can diminish the responsibility of the one committing suicide” (§2282)
    • “We should not despair of the eternal salvation of persons who have taken their own lives. By ways known to him alone, God can provide the opportunity for salutary repentance. The Church prays for persons who have taken their own lives” (2283).
Hope I cleared some misinformation 💛(:
Okay back to the video 🫶
Edit: Okay we got mention again at the end 😅. I would encourage Johnny to learn about true Catholicism with an actual devoted Catholic. It’s pretty obvious he learned about Catholicism through a protestant 😅

Not biblical. Quote the Bible alone not some random book.

    • @tyvsty
      @tyvsty 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@vd1657 to say the Bible is a “Catholic book” is far from the truth. For 1, Many of the New Testament writings, including the Gospels and the epistles, were authored by the apostles or their close associates. These writings were circulated and regarded as authoritative by early Christian communities well before the formal organization of the Catholic Church.
      Early Christian Consensus on Key
      Texts:
      • Early Christians from various regions (not just Roman Catholic territories) recognized certain writings as inspired. While the process of formalizing the canon took time, many books of the New Testament were already accepted as authoritative by Christian communities, including non-Catholic ones, as early as the second century.
      3. Ecumenical Nature of the Canonization Process:
      • The process of canonizing the Bible was not strictly a "Catholic" undertaking. The councils that confirmed the canon (e.g., the Councils of Hippo and Carthage in the 4th century) included participation by bishops from across the Christian world, many of whom were from regions not directly under Roman influence.
      These councils recognized, rather than
"created," the canon based on usage and recognition within & roader Christian tradition.
You focus on Protestants, and Catholics, when we alone should focus on Jesus and Jesus only. God bless

20:16 Muslims, Hindus, and Buddhists have coexisted but have also had conflicts. For example, in India, there have been Hindu-Muslim tensions. While Muslims and Christians have had conflicts, they have also coexisted peacefully in the Middle East for centuries.
As Muslims, we see Christians (and Jews) as people of the book since we share similar beliefs. Personally, as a Muslim, I am always a bit confused about the Trinity in Christianity. How can God be the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit? Why does God need to die, sleep, or face struggles? In Islam, God is the one who doesn’t need to sleep, is absolutely pure, and all-seeing.
I think it might be interesting for you to listen to one of Dr. Zakir Naik's lectures for a different perspective.
Btw, this is no hate to Mr. Chang. I think it's pretty cool that he knows so much about religions, and he seems to be a very respectable and inspiring person.

1:09:00 Acts 16:31 - “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, along with everyone in your household." There's a misunderstanding that it is a promise that a believer's whole family will also be saved. In a first-century patriarchal society, respect for men and the head of the household would greatly influence everyone in the house. So when Paul preaches to the jailer's household (usually comprised of family and servants), they also believe and are baptized. But just as the jailer had to believe for himself, so must each member of the household. Salvation always depends upon the personal response of faith in Jesus as one's Savior (John 3:16; 5;24; 14:6; Acts 4:12). One person's faith is not efficacious for any other person. Jesus even taught that faith in Him will sometimes divide families (Matt. 10:34-36). Paul tells the jailer he will be saved if he believes, and those in his household will be saved if they also believe (this is the same promise for Cornelius's household in Acts 11:14). That is why Paul preaches the gospel to everyone in the household (v. Acts 16:32). The jailer quickly submits to baptism and then rejoices because he "believed in God with all his household" (vv. 33-34). Each person in his household also believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior and therefore was also baptized. Ref: www.gracelife.org/resources/gracenotes/?id=88&lang=eng#:~:text=Acts%2016%3A31%20is%20a,thing%20a%20person%20must%20do.

We’d never appreciate sweet if we hadn’t tasted bitter. We wouldn’t seek happiness if we hadn’t experienced sadness.
Darkness is where growth takes place. When a seed is planted, it’s in the ground, in darkness. Everything outside of that seeds has to die in order for life to begin, right? Life is on the inside of the seed, not the outside. Once “life” comes out of that seed, it goes towards the light, the sun or the Son.
So the darkness, as well as the light, is needed to bring and sustain life.
    Contrast brings clarity…

No one is ever ready for marriage. Even successful couples. The core to keeping a healthy relationship is God in center and both sides support and understand each other in truth. I got married at 23 years and now 35 with 3 beautiful kids.
We were never ready for Kingdom of God. That is why Jesus came down and died for our sins to have faith and believe that we are saved and be returned to him one day.

There’s a difference between being on fire for God & genuinely just wanting to talk about him all the time vs trying to preach his word down peoples throats & judging them & asking them “are you saved🤨”. Those kind of people actually push others away from God.
I agree with them on pushing God on to people..People need to remember that not even God, pushes himself onto people. 🤷🏻‍♀️

A conscious decision is made when cheating. If you commit to the action(s), then you commit to the consequence(s).
If the person you’re with makes more “withdrawals” than “deposits”, then walk away with dignity.
You’re choosing to momentarily or periodically be with someone else anyway, so why not just accept that the two of you are not in the same book, let along on the same page, and end the relationship.
Things can be forgivable, but not fixable 🤷🏾‍♀️

I see what you're saying but like he said it was all on her he was there to help her acknowledge her wrong and her and her husband ultimately decided to stay together. To each their own some people forgive and try to fix not just cause they still love each other still but also because they both knew they did some wrong. That doesn't mean it was necessarily her fault he cheated but she also chose to say the things and do the things she did to him to hurt him emotionally. Johnny was only telling her to apologize for what she did not him cheating.

I’m so mad at so many people abusing and taking advantage of children. So many kids grow up to be traumatized adults, that’s why our world is messed up. It pisses me off when I realize how many people actually went through childhood trauma. I feel really grateful that I’ve never been through deeply traumatic things at such a young age. Thank you God.

When they explained how they were gonna do the thumbnail, made it even more hilarious!! The guys are so goofy!!
As for Johnny, (and this sounds so bad in words. I’m so sorry but I don’t know how else to explain it.) When Johnny talked about his surgery & the state of mind he was in, I felt..I don’t wanna say relieved bc it’s horrible to feel that way & Johnny is such a beautiful spirit, so to hear that is heartbreaking…But I guess what I’m trying to say is, I had surgery too (for my gallbladder) and about the second week, I was in a dark place..I felt like I was going to lose control of my mind. And I was so confused bc my relationship with God has strengthened so much. I mean I have a long way to go, but He’s my Best Friend & my everything. So I didn’t understand why I was feeling that way. I did a lot of sleeping, some days I would stay in my room all day & not go talk to my family.
(Side note: All my life I’ve had to deal with the one’s closest to me, attempted..to leave this world..the must traumatizing one, was my kids dad who didn’t attempt, he followed all the way through, but God said no! So I’ve never even entertained a thought like that.) In the middle of the night, I went into the garage to get a water, and a thought came to my mind..and everyday the same thought would come, but with different ideas..I didn’t understand why I wasn’t getting the peace I was begging for, or the comfort from the fear I was having..
It’s been about a month or so & I feel like I’m coming out of it..but I’m going through a tough season, and of grateful hardship. In some aspects of my situation, is absolute impossible for me to take care of myself. Just one of the problems, is my car got stolen.,like serious things like that is what I’m going through. And I’m a single mom of 2 teenagers. I feel like I’m back at rock bottom. But I’m hanging on to The Lord. But to my point, to know how Faithful Johnny is to God & even he went back to a season of darkness.
I was listening to a sermon once & he said, a lot of Christians don’t last bc walking with God is hard. And it is. But the end result is worth it & that has to be the focus!
(I see that these guys are really searching for true change! I hope they realize how much of influence they have on their fans! They have a platform & the ability to plant seeds & win souls for the kingdom!
    Sorry for the lengthy comment!
May God’s blessings, His Peace, His Strength & Protection Be Upon You Always✞🕊🤍🙏🏼✨

I freaking love Johnny. I think he is the best Christian I have ever seen hell, he is even better than most who proclaim themselves muslim BUT. I am sorry, christianity just doesn't make sense minute 24:22 , why does an infinite being who obviously created everything including us make a book that isn't suited for us finite beings. Isn't guidance supposed to guide us, why can't we try to understand the bible. Let's say, it's god's plan and we finite beings can't try to understand it, isn't it at that point just blind faith. Islam is at least for now the only religion which when I try to understand it and research it my belief in it grows. Because it's the only one in which for now I don't find flaws. I am always open, and yes I have tried reading other scriptures and with everyone of them I learned good stuff and new things but I also saw fallacies and errors that I couldn't find any solution or context or part I was missing, on the other hand every controversy I heard, read or stumbled when was reading the Quran I found my answer to and it strengthened my belief aka faith coz yeah as jhonny says you can never 100% confirm god you can't see it with your eyes, but that doesn't mean you have to have blind faith. I am more than glad to be shown any error as it will force me to research and well if I am right my faith will strengthen and if you're right I will return to being an agnostic or go nihilistic I don't know .

Good points however faith itself is blind. By ourselves we are limited when it comes to understanding everything in the bible but the Holy Spirit he teaches us and gives us more understanding. Keep seeking and search when you seek and search with all your heart you will find the truth without bias. Btw, it is ok to accept salvation - God' love - without doing anything to earn it.

Hi friend! I’m not sure if I can answer this but I believe faith in Christianity can only be grown through starting a relationship with God. I once questioned God’s existence when I left the faith but when I seeked him humbly and recognized that I needed him (Praying and asking him for help), he provided me with what I needed and that was the evidence necessary to prove his existence, (but it wasn’t once or twice, God continues to provide and help me when I ask him for help and tell him that I need his help) It took time for the Holy Spirit to give understanding of the bible because I still needed to confess and repent from the sins of my past life, everything did not click until I joined bible study group and I learned more and experienced the love of God through my fellow brothers and sisters. They have shown me love from the very beginning even in my darkest moments (things I have never told my family) and I knew only God could have led me to meet them because our testimonies were so similar. I am constantly learning more but the scales from my eyes were removed the moment I believed in God & repented, before I believed I could never make sense of the bible no matter how hard I tried or how much I read, it requires faith and the Holy Spirit will reveal more and more when you seek and acknowledge your need for him. I love your honesty and openness, I hope all goes well for you friend! Take care

Proverbs 3 : 5 - 6 in the world standards doesn't make sense, but it really makes a difference. Everyone thinks they are independent thinkers, but something is always controlling your thoughts and decisions whether it's God, IG influencers, some quote you read etc.

Great video. Enjoy seeing individuals walk in the faith and the engagement with a spiritual mentor, especially Johnny Chang. A note on Acts 16:31, the household. Remember, we all have to give an account for our life at the end. Salvation is done individually, if someone is saved, the family's likelihood of salvation can increase. The hope is that all our family will believe in God and Jesus. John 3:16, it's belief. We who believe help set the example of who God is and what the Bible means. Live scripture and our family will see how real God is. Pray for family, to be able to speak truth that they may believe and be saved. Prayers to all in your spiritual walk.

The fact that she said " you guys are the smartest people I know" had me cracking up. Also, when a store agrees to put your product on the shelf, make sure they allow you to promote the product in the store (which would include being allowed to film) and get it in writing/email form. Lastly, if they don't have anything posted saying you cannot record in their store, then its not an actual rule and I would reach out to the owner of that location. You don't have to contact corporate necessarily because if its a franchise, each location has individual owner.

I’ve been Christian my whole life and to not trust your own thoughts/feelings is still so hard haha. But i’m thankful that in the Bible it says to “meditate on the word of God every day and night”. By doing so, it’s hard to even think of your own thoughts and feelings when you’re dwelling and pondering God’s word. God knew we’d need help to not trust our own thoughts. Love Him foreeallll 🫶🏽💖
