In more recent updates I’ve noticed the PC becoming a bit more expressive, especially in The Contract. Up til then I honestly didn’t feel any connection with my character besides the clothes he wears and cars he drives. But seeing him visibly happy, relaxed, or frustrated/awkward makes me kinda like him.

The only ones who really respect us are Pavel and Franklin, and only a few times does what we own and who we've robbed gets brought up. Besides Lester bringing them up, since he's helped us with a good majority of them. Something I think would be sick would be a cutscene like that one scene in Wrath of Man, where we get attacked and we show our faces and whoever's attacking us dips the fuck out. We're mute psychopaths who've robbed everything and everyone, killed thousands and have an arsenal at our fingertips. It doesn't make sense that we're still treated like errand boys.

Every gta online character has chronic Gordon Freeman syndrome where they trade the ability to talk with the ability to carry 50 billion sci-fi experimental weapons
Not to be the "🤓" kid but RDO characters do talk tho, or at least they give signals of actually having a fully functional voice box, unlike the emotionless, stoic psychopaths from GTA. They can scream, yell out in pain, laugh, imitate animals, and they even say small words and sentences like "go", "get!" "shoo", and "OH MY GOD!" when falling to their deaths. And in the cutscene where you meet Nazar they can be seen attempting to talk but they get cut off by her.
Imagine if we completed a GTAO campaign and our character suddenly said "Screw you guys, I'm out of this dive.." and the characters we work with are just "WTFTHEYACTUALLYSPEAK?!"

Something funny I found out about a long time ago is that when you get kicked out of a players nightclub your character grunts after being thrown outside. I'm kind of surprised that nobody ever mentions this because I can't be the only one who discovered this lol.

Rdo characters do talk, when you tell your horse to go they can yell "go" to it, at least on male characters.
Not to be the "🤓" kid but RDO characters do talk tho, or at least they give signals of actually having a fully functional voice box, unlike the emotionless, stoic psychopaths from GTA.
They can scream, yell out in pain, laugh, imitate animals, and they even say small words and sentences like "go", "get!" "shoo", and "OH MY GOD!" when falling to their deaths. And in the cutscene where you meet Nazar they can be seen attempting to talk but they get cut off by her.
