@@hanjjaze I know someone else already gave you a brief explanation but I'll go more in depth so you can get a better grasp on it like how i wished people would do when i was a new fan. if you have any more questions feel free to ask anything I would like to say I know quite a bit about Fire Emblem. So fire emblem's first game "Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light(FE1)" released in 1990 for the NES. for a Japanese only NES game it did really well and fire emblem continued to do relatively well throughout FE1-FE8 on NES, SNES, and GBA through 1990-2004 until "Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance"(FE9)was released on the GameCube and it did awfully due to how slow it was it was and how awful the advertisements was(FE9 is an absolutely banger game despite how slow it is. please play it). the less than stellar sales of the GameCube didn't help either. Fire Emblem continued to do absolutely horrendously especially in America from FE9-FE12 due to multiple different reasons for each game. until 2012 when "Fire Emblem: Awakening"(FE13) was released. this game basically saved the whole series due to it doubling down on anime tropes and the advertising was amazing. since then and with the help of "Fire Emblem Heroes"(a gacha mobile game that has made Intelligent Systems over a billion dollars) Fire Emblem has been incredibly successful with great titles. So if you enjoyed Three houses you have Awakening to thank for it. also if you're a new fan I strongly encourage you to play older FE games especially the ones that sold like garbage they're all absolute hidden gems tho you might need to use piracy to play the rarer ones and you'll need to pirate fan translated versions of 1-6&12 unless you can read Japanese due to them never getting official English translation(except fe1 but that one doesn't count cuz it only be sold on the Nintendo Eshop for a limited amount of time). but yeah that's why Awakening is so important now go play some non Three Houses fire emblem(Path of Radiance is the best best fire emblem to ever ever exist and I will die on this hill)
Thank you and you are welcome. Nintendo has already taken down (or banned them from all countries) four of these videos (two japanese and two english). I believe or hope that they don't do that anymore as first ones gained about 30000 views per video in couple of days and second ones were banned within a week with even less views than this and this has survived over two months. Thanks for the warning, but here's hoping they don't do that anymore (or that they don't notice this video).
I knew this would hit more than the Eng version. The Eng version sound like a yt anime op Eng cover😭I mean that’s what it is but it’s not supposed to sound like it
@@crossdaboss8914 yeah the Japanese here does not sound correct because it seems they made the song for the english first. In anime openings they make the Japanese the original and then the english tries to match the rhythm so it songs like Your Name in english sounds bad. Here it's originally in English, the Japanese is trying to fit the English beat
Usually I agree but nah not this time. Something about the english one just sounds right. Hell the JP version made me appreciate the ENG version even more
Well, considering that it's supposed to be a sad song, I'm not sure strong passion is the right thing to be hearing, I think the Japanese version has more pain in her voice which fits better, like I didn't need to know the lyrics to feel like crying from the shaking in her voice. Naturally that doesn't mean the English version isn't nice as well, it's just different, it's got a different tone and the lyrics kinda lean more towards the sad tone in the Japanese version as being more appropriate
I like this one in English too, but it is better in Japanese. The Engage opening is really bad in English though. They really shouldn't have translated them. The inner game dub is good, but keep the music Japanese. (The outlier being Fates' Lost in Thoughts All Alone, I highly enjoyed that in English more)
It's crazy to think, if Awakening didn't explode like it did, we would had never gotten this game.
I am new to this fanbase, can you explain pls
@@hanjjaze basically fire emblem was about to cease to exist as a thing if it wasn't for the success of awakening

Fire Emblem allways has epic music, damn
I like the little echos they used in the Japanese op
Now we know what Edge of Dawn is all about for the viewpoint.
This never gets old! I love this

This FE is unbeateable
Path of Radiance is better
Wonder if these footage is using Suikodsn 3 as background music will be how?
Don't as much as I like suikoden 3, I found its music so damn calming it put me to sleep
エーデルガルド ディミトリ クロード
After hearing this, I actually prefer the english version which is surprising
It' beutifull

Toda la vida
I concur
Japanese > English
The English isn't even that bad
ENG sounds better imo. This one sounds so "quiet" compared to the
ENG one who has more passion in her voice.

@@Burns_RED agree to disagree, but it's nice to have two versions so people can choose what they like.
Sorry but english>>>>>>>>>>>japanese
True
This is one viewpoint but I think japan is slightly better than english .
no, never, only in your dreams
How do I trigger the opening? I tried waiting for it in the beginning of the game but it didnt work
Just wait when the screen reads Press Any Button or you can just watch it from the Extras menu.
