I love this video!!! What is the 2.1 ratio for your lye water? I don’t understand that part 😅

Hello! Thanks for watching! When you put the recipe into a soap calculator, it will have a spot where it says water to lye ratio which I used to put 2:1 (2 parts water, 1 part lye). Always try to put recipes into a soap calculator because each oil has a different saponification value meaning it will take a certain amount of lye to turn into soap. I now use a 1.5:1 water lye ratio to have more of a water discount for a slightly shorter cure time 😊 it’s really personal preference though! I hope that helps! 💕

Hi there I love your videos ..I have a question and hopefully you can answer what fragrance brand do you recommend??

Thank you so much Gladys! Most of my fragrances are crafters choice from Wholesale Supplies Plus. They are great BUT Nature’s Garden also has amazing fragrance oils that are a better value. I’ve started to purchase from them more often. They are great quality for a much better price 😊
