Some interesting info about psychology, but a lot of "facts" about Google are just wrong. The brain teaser questions were banned years ago, the "150 feet rule" is confirmed as a myth, and the spa water is for cafeterias not offices.
@@Orophile_303 More like it exploits human eating pattern to make addictive, easy and fast way of eating. It making people fat is just a byproduct really due to people being predisposed to liking foods that are dense in calories. This has biological basis and it causes a positive feedback loop where consuming more leads to desire to consume more of the junk food. This then leads to getting accustomed to bland flavors and soft texture that does not require any chewing. This means that any "normal" food feels to have weird taste as you are not used to those flavors which makes you sensitive to those flavors Also your jaws have used to not having to chew food which makes especially fresh vegetables laborious to eat as your jaws get tired more easily due to not using those muscles that often. It is easy to sell and cheap to produce so it is easy money. The profit is enough to drive this trend and no nefarious agenda behind is necessary. Occam's razor is friend.
when I go to grade Advanced Placement exams for Educational Testing Service for a week every year, we get three buffet meals per day and two snack breaks, and there are always vegetarian options at each meal and fruit at each break- and its a good thing, because most of the regular meals are very calorie-dense and the snacks are mostly cookies, brownies, cakes, ice cream, etc. The first year I went I gained six pounds, but the next year I switched to the veggie options and fruit for snacks and have done much better.
@@Really_Roby So far, everything that Kiana has shown in this video doesn't look like what I would call gourmet. Candy and donuts? Really? I expected better from you Google. It's fine to give your employees free food but if you're going to open 35 cafes and put vending machines everywhere, at least go for something more high quality than what you'd find in the local mall.
At my last job, I asked management to replace all the junk food with healthy snacks. I pointed out how their most dedicated employees (ie, 12 hour days) went from healthy to obese within a year. To their credit, they took immediate action and got rid of all the chocolate and chips. They even hired personal trainers. I was not very popular after that :)
lol i wish my old high school did this but it was cheaper for them to stuff the vending machines full of poptarts and chips than heathy snacks. Especially when as a teeneager it feels like your always starving and 630 am breakfast/12pm lunch is a big stretch. And then they would sell candy bars/soda after the last bell. they teach us to eat right in heath class and then funnel junk into the school
@@jessfrisk3585 Even worse than the cost, dedicated coders who work 70 hour weeks don't want fruit and vegetables. They want something to release chemicals in their brain quickly to feel temperately good. That's what we all want. I must confess, I take Ritalin. Besides being able to concentrate, it is fantastic not to have to think about food all day. To be honest, I have no idea how people get through their day without it. Evolution did not anticipate a McDonalds on every corner I also have a treadmill desk, no food in my house that takes less than 10 minutes to cook, souse vide fish or chicken every night, and a whole lot of vanity care of my mother :) My strategy works well, but only if you live alone. In a relationship, I'm toast :)
Jewy McHoser Oh i know, try telling teens not to fill up on red bull and snickers. Even though i hated the easy access to junk it was nice to get a candy bar after a long day, or a soda to get a second wind. I have adhd and the lack of dopamine makes it easy for me to have a horrible diet of high carbs and sugar. I drink a good amount of coffee now that helps stave off the constant cravings and meal prep so i dont defult to an easy lunch of chips(i live with too many people to keep junk food out of the house). Quarantine did a number on me but its getting better.
Best part about my ADHD is hiding snacks from myself. Put the chocolate away in a drawer and I can go weeks without remembering to eat it lol. Just need to sort out my habit of boredom eating, but meds will hopefully help
Exactly, I had issues with healthy snacking until I implemented these tactics 1 year ago. Obv I got rid of all junk food and implemented healthy snacks like nuts and stuff, so what I would do is I would place the snacks in the very back of the cupboard and put my breakfast foods in front, so when I was a bit hungry I would have to manually think of the snack and go get it, therefore decreasing the times I was hungry if that makes any sense?
blue_jay96 oh mate definitely, my meds don’t really help with memory but I use my forgetfulness to my advantage lmao, say if my parents buy chips for my younger brothers, I’ll place the chips somewhere really hard to get to and in a bizarre place, the entire family forgets about the chips entirely. That’s how I got my fam to quit junk food lmao
@Laura Rosa exactly. Think about it, would the big Mac have three chemicals known to cause cancer if they didn't force your brain to love the burger more? No. Junk food is almost always chemically designed by scientists, not chefs or cooks, to addict you.
@@billjamal4764 chemicals don't cause cancer. Simply having DNA is enough to cause cancer. In fact, I can guarantee that you have cancer right now. It's not killing you because your immune system is capable of keeping it in control. Literally everyone that's alive has cancer. Your body keeps it under control so it doesn't turn into tumors. There's whole systems of your body designed to kill cells that have turned cancerous. So instead of painting scientists as the bad guys, why don't you try learning some science yourself.
@@Unmannedair OK. I'm not painting scientists as bad guys at all. I'm painting companies who don't care about the dangers of what they're putting in their food as the bad guys. Well we are human and making people feel deprived doesn't make them flourish it makes them stressed. Losing weight doesn't mean eliminating ALL treats but just cutting back so you can be healthy and still enjoy life!
What would you expect from a company who literally studies every internet decision by almost every single person on the planet? They know how the brain works, and they test it on me and you on this very app.
Google employees "Googlers" should see the stark difference in how they are pampered vs. how their contractor employees are treated like prisoners. Worked at a call center owned by xerox during a Google contract and all we had was two vending machines, FAR AWAY from the phone/dual screen chrome-brick computer cubicles. Oh, and one of the vending machines had a card skimmer that led to me having to replace my debit card... That was fun. Just another experience to affirm how cash will never die, because it can't be easily hacked.
Not really. Completely eliminating certain foods implies a black and white distinction between good and bad foods. Often what makes something bad is the degree of consumption (which can be reduced by the hacks mentioned) not the food itself. Plus it would be dictatorial for one group of people to decide what another can choose. There must be free will in everything. The best that can be done is build smart structures and policies that makes "default" options more or less the best and healthy option (cause troublemakers gonna make trouble no matter what, if I'm craving a blueberry cheesecake, i will hunt it down even if it's just one small piece hidden at the very back 😅)
They're doing the same thing at my University, especially on the Masters classes floor. Eerily went from donuts, cookies, coffee, and cupcakes to lemon, strawberry, and mint water from a dispenser and tons of fruit and veggies. Some people complained that they missed all the junk, and their answer to that was to add in single wrapped dark chocolate. 😂🤣
I would LOVE that. I don't know about you, but unless you live in or near a grower state like California, fruit is expensive as shit. Buying candy anywhere is not. Especially if they put out berries... 👁️👄👁️
We have the same thing at my university, but there's so many options of what you can eat that you have something for everyone. I personally like having easy access to healthy options.
@@xchasingthefallx the sad thing is that my uni was exactly like that. @ThatOne being Muslim, which involves eating ethically prepared food, while avoiding pork, has led me to have a much healthier lifestyle had I otherwise not been a Muslim. Obviously, I didn’t choose to be healthy, I just followed what my family ate and they ate only halal food. Imagine not being able to eat at any fast food restaraunt because of systemic racism (purposely don’t have halal options). The only halal option most of the time is salad or fries. Sometimes not even that because they use pork oil for fries or pork oil in salad dressing. Also being poor and not affording eating out, even fast food, meant less calories. While on the subject we had to walk everywhere because we weren’t legally allowed to get a car. No quick trips to buy candy. Then factor in immigrant parents who hate outside food and only eating your own cultures cuisine, meaning “THERES FOOD AT HOME.” Damn it feels good to be a poor minority. Soooo moral of the story is go where the food sucks or people hate you so you have no options left for yourself. Sorry it struck a nerve that people have to do this to not gain weight when others are left with no options due to hate.

Environment being key is so true. When I moved back in with my parents after college I gained 15 pounds. They keep junk food of some sort consistently. Accepting an office job made me gain another 15 pounds!! I’m working on losing it
True. My parents always kept candy, chocolate, chips, sodas in abundance at home. I was never restricted to anything. So I never felt the urge to over eat it. But when the neighbour's kids came over to play, only having sweets on saturday, all of the bowls in sight was empty in seconds.
I believe this works the same way with grocery stores. They tacticly place certain products near each other. You're buying a Sixpack beer for the weekend? Turn around and there's the shelf full of bags of chips.
Well, that _and_ it's kind of food and kitchen 101 to have things that go together next to each other. You don't put a seafood utensil next to a dessert utensil, and you wouldn't buy a bag a chips sitting right next to cleaning supplies. Last time they put a food product next to a cleaning product there was a momentary "THE GOVERNMENT IS TRYING TO CULL OFF THE CHILDREN OF PARENTS WHO DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT THEY'RE BUYING!!!" internet freak-out hoax
Ha! My husband keeps all the cookies, chocolate and other candy in our gun safe. He doles out the dark chocolate Hershey Kisses to me 2 at a time when he gets something for himself. They seem to last FOREVER!
Hahahah oh my god this is what I told my bf what we had to do. I'm a low-key binger but he loves sweets and has the metabolism to eat them. Told him we need to get a safe for his sweets so I don't get into it.
When I moved to uni I was warned about the "freshman 15" (first years tend to gain weight), however I used a similar strategy to this to avoid that: I wouldn't buy any junk or sweets or snacks with my shopping, if I really wanted some I'd have to go and shop for it (I live across the street from a supermarket), I didn't limit what I ate just how hard it was to get
I had somewhat of a similar type of thing 😅 I studied electrical engineering so didn't really have time to eat and if I wanted food I'd have to buy on campus food. Since it was a commuter school all the food was extremely expensive...so in my major it was all a joke that we were all a little too skinny 😆 I went in a 125 freshman and then stabilized around 110 within school.
Idk, I did gain some weight at first (but I was already overweight quite a bit, even on home food and not eating excessively - I ate less than a lot of my classmates who were thinner). In the third year I somehow managed to lose a lot of weight by going on a diet - but nowadays, as a working adult, I definitely can't do that. I literally almost never cook because I don't have time or energy for that. And that makes it really hard to stay in the same weight
For me, I lose weight due to the culture shock of the HUGE campus, I have to go to class through what we called 'Batu Caves Stairs' (google Batu Caves, the stairs are hellishly long) then walk long distances to get to the lecture hall/tutorial rooms. If the elevator is broken or too many people are queuing, we took the stairs to go to the tutorial rooms (the room is usually 5th floor and above). There are tons of assignments to be done, quizzes, tests so little time to eat I'd rather sleep. Over time, I managed to have a healthy weight again and have more appetite. I hope we can all be healthy no matter what age we are 🤗

This happened to me when I worked at Uber. They literally stuffed us with food at every single turn in that office. We had food in the kitchen, food at computer, snacks everywhere, restaurant menu and deliver service (Uber Eats). Needless to say I left that job twice the size I entered and completely burned out (we were working weekends too). Deeply regret it not seeing it from first, after I struggled Soo much
I always wondered about Uber Eats causing overweight in employees. I've never worked there but I do order Uber Eats sometimes, and I've often thought, "If I worked delivering food, I know I'd be eating more!"

fr the food at google is insane. My dad's campus has chinese, mongolian, italian, american, vegan, smoothie bars, and it used to have a hot pot place. There's also desert, everywhere.
I just wanna take a minute to say your content is so so good. You research and put on a full presentation every time. Can confirm about free food. Its available to contractors as well (I worked security there in the bay area). That food ain't "gourmet" though. It's free, but it's.... disappointing. The food has almost no flavor..... that'll keep you from eating too much of the hot breakfast, lunches and dinners. The snacks though, in the microkitchens? On point.
It depends on where you eat. The reservation only Indian restaurant on the MTV campus was excellent. The Korean restaurant had good breakfast, the food trucks were bomb and the healthy restaurant in the waterfront SF office was soooooo good.
If you have sweets in your house/apartment, put them as far away as possible, like the back of the top of a closet (This works even better when you are too short to get to the location without getting something to stand on to get to said bag or box of evil). If you must have sweets, make them as hard to get to as you can.

Before retiring, my father worked as a boss for GE Healthcare in Norway, and he found it very amusing whenever he recieved the "health guidelines" from the US (advice on how to offer the employees a healthier lifestyle and diet at work). Keep in mind this is a healthcare company. One of GE's top diet ideas was to switch out brownies with muffins. This sounds crazy to Scandinavians because we offer neither in the first place. Junk foods aren't available at work. Well, I guess it was easy for him to comply with the recommended guidelines 😂😂

I started at a tech company and gained 30lbs over the span of two years. The meals and snacks were actually mostly healthy. Cafes were staffed with up to 15 small restaurants with chefs making fancy food. But overeating is overeating regardless of if it includes kale. Coupled with sitting all day most people gain way more than 15lbs when they begin their career in tech. It's more like upwards of 25-50lbs. It took a year for me to lose all the weight and all my coworkers have admitted to losing a ton of weight when they switched to working from home.
Kiana, thank you so much for this! Too bad I can't change my environment at a grocery store job! At the same time, it makes me think of how much better I could be doing dealing with temptations if I didn't feel prompted to buy candy and chips every work day of the week...
One brain trick you can do is to donate equal amounts to a charity. So if you want some candy for $1.00, then you must also donate $1.00 to a charity. This keeps it cheap enough for you to still get it if you want it, but spending double quickly adds up so you have to keep an eye on it (hopefully discouraging you from spending more)
Get a new job. You are worth it!!!! Another thing you can try is eating a big breakfast and a good lunch so when you get off work you aren't so hungry...

Another thing that works: use smaller plates and try to eat slower. While the smaller plates trick your mind into thinking you already ate a full serving, by eating slower you're more likely to actually stop eating when you're full. You mean it’s not genetics and fat stigma making them fat? Or being poor? Get outta here!!! You mean calories matter?! Better call the Fat Acceptance people!
Well, let's not rule out genetics or socioeconomic reasons, either! There's plenty of data out there that suggests that they're both major contributing factors to weight gain and obesity. Fat stigma making people fat... yea, that part, I will agree, makes no sense to me. It takes a mental and emotional toll on someone who's struggling to lose weight, sure, but if someone wants it badly enough, they will shift their mentality and make the necessary changes to better their lifestyle and lose the weight.
All of these factors interplay and interconnect to determine weight. There are no absolutes, no one answer or quick fix. Socioeconomic factors play a big role in determining accessibility (which is what Kiana talked about), junk foods and processed foods tend to be subsidised and therefore cheaper making them more readily available than healthier foods. Our convenience culture doesn't help either. Genetics also play a role in fat storage, metabolism and therefore caloric requirements. It's all connected.

I miss having that job overall but I’ll definitely use these tips to get back on track for my weight loss!
Such a great video! Oh to be offered healthy food at work. Yesterday I forgot my healthy food at home, so there was the automat. It had trailmix which is calorie dense, but at least not processed, but alas, the machine would not spit it out. So there I was consuming a small bag of crisps and a nut bar with some chocolate. Calorie dense, processed and low volume, so of course I ate a bit more of my home cooked food than strictly necessary. Before that I had been eating fairly healthy for two weeks and my tastebuds are beginning to appreciate it. But still, I’d walk considerably more for free healthy food than the 150 yards (?) stipulated by Brin.
I've never had my workplace offer any food except for special occasions. But I did notice that I eat more since working from home. This was a good video, now I know what I need to do to improve on that.
I went to a Google office in my country with my brother and my friend and I completely forgot we were in an office. Like the staff there gave us pointers on how to win the video games and they were like: "Oh I normally use this car to race because of (some 3 reasons)" The office honestly looked so freaking fun

Some interesting info about psychology, but a lot of "facts" about Google are just wrong. The brain teaser questions were banned years ago, the "150 feet rule" is confirmed as a myth, and the spa water is for cafeterias not offices.

More companies should be adopting these tactics. For way too long has junk food been the standard for corporate affairs.
Lmfao, they want people to be hooked on junk food and distracted from reality.

Lol
I would love you, lol you would help me with my weight loss less temptation.
lol i wish my old high school did this but it was cheaper for them to stuff the vending machines full of poptarts and chips than heathy snacks.
Evolution did not anticipate a McDonalds on every corner
I also have a treadmill desk, no food in my house that takes less than 10 minutes to cook, souse vide fish or chicken every night, and a whole lot of vanity care of my mother :) My strategy works well, but only if you live alone. In a relationship, I'm toast :)

Oh i know, try telling teens not to fill up on red bull and snickers.
I have no object permanence, if I can see the snack it's gone within an hour but if it's in a cupboard... wait... what was I talking about?
Exactly!!! Damn my ADD lol
Human beings get so much credit for object permanence, but we fail so much with out of sight out of mind.
TLDR: Don't make it about will power or choices, instead optimize your environment to encourage the direction you want to go.
Yeap people have limited willpower so we should dow what we can to conserve it
@Laura Rosa exactly. Think about it, would the big Mac have three chemicals known to cause cancer if they didn't force your brain to love the burger more? No. Junk food is almost always chemically designed by scientists, not chefs or cooks, to addict you.
Yeah, because if we never ask people to use their own willpower they'll never want to think for themselves...
Like bro what was the point of your comment. Obviously chemicals don't ~cause~ cancer, but it's ignorant to think there aren't chemicals that enhance likelihood of cancer becoming a problem.
To me it’s incredible that they didn’t even remove the terrible food to get people to eat healthy, that’s smart psychology right there!
Their spoiled employees would riot if they removed it lol.
(And I mean "spoiled" just to be honest, in the least insulting way possible - I was one of those spoiled programmers until recently XD Although not at Google specifically. But I do have a handful of friends who work there)
Well we are human and making people feel deprived doesn't make them flourish it makes them stressed.
either you eat at university, or university eats you 👀
I really love those fruit waters though...
I would LOVE that. I don't know about you, but unless you live in or near a grower state like California, fruit is expensive as shit. Buying candy anywhere is not. Especially if they put out berries... 👁️👄👁️

@@ber1779 Sure, one could move to a place where they're hated or they could watch what they put into their bodies, not over eat, and move their bodies more. Most people in the States are lazy and lack self control. 73% of the U.S adult population is overweight with 42% being obese.

I actually lost weight in my first year because I was miserable 🙃 I would eat the saddest meals lol

I remember when I started eating healthier I started working on habits that would make me excited over eating something that will benefit my health. Also I remember that I focused really hard on the feeling of lightness after eating a healthy and light meal. It really does work and I feel great (especially because of the fact that I dont feel that bloated anymore)
Wanna lose weight / get fit ? Go load UPS trucks
Or load pallets at FedEx like I did a few months back. Never carried heavy packages there, but the repetitive nature of the task really gets ya.
my stepdad used to work at ups but quit to become a real estate agent ... the man looks like he’s gained about 50 pounds or more
I actually lost 50lbs doing exactly that. Then I quit to go to a different job and that job proceeded to "thank" us almost every week with fast food and treats. Gained back everything. 😔😔
yup
My so works at ups loading and unloading trucks. He’s fit as a fiddle!
I just love the fact that literally a few hours ago I was thinking when you were gonna post a new video and I'm so happy it's already up! 😍 Living for your professionally edited vids! Well done girl! 💖🌟
google: you'll gain 15 pounds working here
me, who has always struggled to gain weight and can fit into kid's clothes at 28: yeah, whatever
"15 pounds you say 👁️👄👁️"
weird flex
*Google:* You'll gain weig-
*Us:* Yes.
it’s a struggle for us 😔
Do you guys just have a good metabolism
Lmao the who video I’m like “well I wouldn’t be that gullible” when in reality, I’ve been snacking on Easter candy the last few weeks.
I still remember when your subs were only 1.5k and I was so glad to find your content, I was into watching Alr and Chantal.
You deserve the subs, srsly your content is one of the most put together I've seen when it comes addressing these problems 💕
I love that you have a reference list. So many people don't bother to make one
Imagine if you had a minifridge with baby carrots and salad next to your couch. Youd eat it all the time even if ur not a fan of veg
You put out not just content but value to the world. I applaud you 👏🏼
"how many golf balls fit in a school bus?"
*sir I applied for janitor, not for ultra specialized software developer*
“Frictionless” I can’t help but thinking of cody ko every time I hear that word now lol
Can we appreciate how professional her videos are? So addictive too :3
Nothing like watching one of my favorite youtubers after my first day of work!!
I was thinking to myself "well *I* wouldn't pick pop even if it was the easier option", as if I'm special, before remembering that I don't even like fizzy drinks. 🙄
this is why i leave my yoga mat out on my floor, rolled up. reminds me to keep the space tidy and to stretch to reduce my back pain.
I cannot believe how high quality your videos are. Your channel is rapidly growing and it's quite impressive I usually don't see this rapid growth but yours has not staggered. ever since you made the video about that monster mukbang eater you've used that steady stream and not let it go to waste. You know what works.
I found your channel 8 months late but it is so informative and you talk a lot on the psychology behind these things and it's amazing I love each of your videos. I hope you stay happy and healthy for as long as possible ❤
Love the point about abusing our lack of object permanence to reduce snacking. Great vid! 👍🏻
Your videos are so well made!! It inspires me to spend more time on scripting and editing :)
Great video, the transition at 7:20 would have been better if you hadn’t done a volume transition with your voice as well, but it was a cool concept. The production quality of this video overall was top notch!
Honestly I've noticed this with my grocery shopping. I used to eat only premade meals because I couldn't be bothered to look up recipes. I've recently downloaded an app that gives you recipes and then makes your drive-in order at the closest grocery shop. I've lost so much weight since I've started using this app. All because it allowed me not to do the groceries and recipe thinking process anymore lol
What's the name of the app? I struggle with buying things that don't end up wasted because I didn't cook or use them up :(
@@SaffariRose No ide what the app is but my mother had a similar problem. I eventually had to force her to sit down every Sunday and take the day to do long-term things like bills and etc. but I also made her plan the weeks meals in that one day. She near immediately stopped leaving shit to rot because, if you know what you need for the specific meals you planned, your weekly shopping list is practically done for you in the recipes you Google.
@@-VoDkAsVengeance- Thank you for the reply! I've actually started doing this for a couple of months now. I meal prep and try to find seasonal recipes so I can shop locally/farmers market too! I've cut down wastage by alot but I can still do better 😅
@A wild Rose what's the name of the app?
@@xciimani7513 no app, just regular scheduling. Some places might sell sheets for meal prepping or you might find free guides online but I just use a journal with calender reference.
This video was amazingly planned out/written/edited. Can't wait to see what's next for your channel because I am such a huge fan already!!!
Another thing that works: use smaller plates and try to eat slower.
While the smaller plates trick your mind into thinking you already ate a full serving, by eating slower you're more likely to actually stop eating when you're full. If you can, give your body a little time and you'll realize that you might not need the amount of food you normally eat to feel satiated :)
Thank you for this! As someone who’s working on her own weight loss, you’ve given me some really useful tips on how to curb my own snacking! Much appreciated! You most certainly have a new subscriber!
my dad works at Google and when I was younger we would occasionally go to Google for fun
it's literally crazy they've got whole game rooms. they had one room with a stash of nerf guns and rock climbing walls.
I used this tactic years ago. I don't keep Doritos in my house. It's a weakness. I said, "If I really MUST have some I can drive to the corner store & get a lil bag." 99.9% of the time I am too lazy to do that. I depend on my laziness daily for success. Lol
I felt like I knew the vibe to this type of video with how it started and how the narrator sounded until a heard that **but** at 0:43 😂👀
So well researched and cut. Give us more, queen
Another great video, you should get yourself a Patreon!
Love these videos! Nice video production and research. Thanks!
Loving all of your content. Great info in an easily digestible fashion.
Something I'd be interested I hearing about, why are people so interested in watching all the different binge eating content on youtube? Whether it be crazy challenges done by fit or fat people or your standard issue mukbang these videos get millions of views and I dont get it
I watch some of the healthy ones to make my healthy food taste better, or have me crave it. I don't like the gross ones due to making me crave junk. I don't understand why my mind works like that, but I've always paired certain foods with certain entertainment.
I also like the cringy compilations for weight loss motivation.
15-30 seconds for a glass of water? how big is that glass or how slow is that tap
You're being real thick aren't ya
I came to the comment section to see if anyone would bring this topic up 😂😂
or a broken leg from 7 years ago.. or a wrist injury.. or the trauma from when their hamster died as a kid.. wtf!!! i didn’t know that just reducing calories and moving around for even 10 minutes a day makes you lose weight!!! i am absolutely outraged
I learnt somewhere in my programming journey, that if a thing needs more than 3 steps to get going a user will almost always abandon it to go do something else.
Only in the US people will choose sodas over water.
Bullshit.
It's been scientifically proven that sugar activates reward pathways in the brain. If you're human, you're subject to that. Period.
sandpiperr not me. I would never choose sodas over water.
@@NoOne-sd3sx Well aren't you special.
Your anecdotal evidence is, indeed, more convincing than an emprical study, because YOU are just that important!
How wonderful to be you!
@@sandpiperr if you are used to only drinking water, you probably won't like sugary drinks a lot, I think it mostly comes down to your sugar habbits and how addicted you are to it
I used to only drink really sugary drinks and hate water my whole childhood and the majority of my teenage years (thanks parents for introduzing me to crappy sugar filled stuff right away!), until I cut out all sugery drinks at once and switched to only water as a teenager, the first few days were very tough, I missed all my usual drinks a lot, felt very tempted to quit and water tasted really really bad, but suddenly I started liking water and I didn't consume any sugary drinks for over a year (I was scared to get addicted to that crap again), now I don't like the taste of any sugary drinks anymore and I often can't even get myself to drink them when there is nothing else available, they just taste so bad now...
sandpiperr imagine being so gluttony to the point where you have to search for scientific studies to back your addiction to sugars and then go around to insult people because they choose water over sodas and telling them their point is invalid just because it’s against the scientific research you’re using to condone your gluttonous
The production quality on your videos is crazy.
Jokes on you, I always carry my water bottle and use the fridge tap 😉
I love how your editing increases each upload!
Google employees: **Gain weight**
Google: Oh no, anyw- *OH NO*
This is so helpful not only for weight loss but for influencing positive behaviors in general
Your content is always so high quality and really interesting! Thanks for the work you do 🙏🏻😍 Glad I subbed, I’m sure you’ll blow up soon!!
This was actually super informative! Like probably the best advice I've ever received on how to change eating habits! Amazing
Oh yess finally new video ❤
@@KianaDocherty Can't wait, your videos really inspire me to stay on track with healthy habits ❤
I look forward to every one of your uploads, they are so helpful on my journey. Thank you!
I lost a good 10-15 pounds at my last job because they had no vending machines (the only one “healthy hub” located in a three floor campus was filled with healthy snacks, no chocolate or soda), junk food at the cafeteria and I couldn’t drive to get soda or chocolate cause I didn’t (and still don’t ) have a car. I also took transit and walked an extra 30 mins a day effortlessly on top of using the campus gyms. I miss having that job overall but I’ll definitely use these tips to get back on track for my weight loss!
Just discovered you a few days ago, so a new video is super exciting. Keep up the great work!
Google has lots of good food
Didn’t expect to find you here Ray Mak
I'm, willing to walk two hours to get my favourite binge food hahahah I think I'd have to move to the middle of the dessert to stop overeating
"Oi Jeff, you like chocolates yeah? We don't have bars anymore"
"Oh c'mon"
"WE HAVE FOUNTAINS"
*_"POP!!"_* _goes the Midwestern_
I'm guessing that you're from Minnesota.
