Fantastic as always, love the addition of the telescope. Maybe now we need a second mountain peak complete with giant eagle's nest and accompanying giant eagle's egg hunters?
I was in my local hobby shop in Birmingham, UK the other day and there was a kid with his dad there asking if they had any American frontiersman kits. They were saying that they watch this TH-camr who makes imaginary Wild West dioramas with giant monsters. Obviously I had to go over and say hi to my fellow BHT fans! Unfortunately they didn't have anything like that at the store but I hope they/you managed to track something down!
i imagine the watchman goes to the town inn and tells stories of eagles carrying away hikers and how he sees shapes fly past the moon while looking in his telescope
@@genericuser984 oh yes! I bet not all the people living in town will think the watchman exaggerates too much... But then commission him to be a guide on a hike none the less (a offer he'll refuse due to knowing the dangers a little too well).
Okay, this makes it to one of my favorite Boylei builds. I love the detail, the colors, the new pipe pieces, the fun layout, etc. Really cool and inspiring addition
6:15 So cool that you were inspired by Devil’s Head Lookout as that is less than 11 miles from my house as the Imaginary Wild West semi-mechanical crow flies. The trail head is 24 miles because I have to wind through the mountains.
I love everything about this build, but for some reason the most satisfying part is the proportions. Something about the verticality and compactness of the whole thing is just awesome.
The bag with metal pieces is essential. I use those metal pieces all the time. They help repairing broken figures and models, they help reinforcing articulations or plastic long beams, and also they add detail to your projects. Thanks for the video.
I really really want to see you incorporate all your western sci fi builds into a huge world board/diorama. Love this world you’ve created and should be shown off together as it’s own world 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
This is probably my favorite Weird Wild West diorama so far. I love the precariousness of its location, the light dusting of summer snow (like you'd see up on the peaks in CO or AK), and the building looks like it's been in use for a long time. Excellent build, Boylei.
This rinds me of The Shambles in York England it's the way the building get larger the higher up it goes. I live near The Shambles and was surprised to find out the shops in it are 700 years old and the street is over a thousand years old! Damn that's amazing they are still standing and working shops 😯
I love all these builds - they're so imaginative and interesting, I can't get enough! One thing I'd love to see is some indication of the wilders using the parts from the huge beasts that they hunt to decorate or fix their machines and homes :)
I am so happy your continuing the wild west series, i’ve been waiting for your next video because i love these them. Please keep making these videos, they are amazing!!
Such a buzz when a new video pops up on my notifications, then it's over so quick. You make it look effortless and they all look amazing. Please keep it up.
Another brilliant WIW build - I want this series to run forever, so much more imaginative than the gaming and Star Wars related builds that everyone does. Congrats on 500K subscribers - well deserved!
I've been following your wild west series since the beginning and I am always blown away and inspired to pick up model making again. Thanks for sharing your craft and ideas!
loving the subtle details that show growth, the new ingredients in the terrain paste INTERACTING WITH THEIR PHYSICAL COUNTERPARTS, I've tinkered with premiere for a long time and the amount of work that sounds like makes my head hurt. so either our boy boylei has surpassed me, or is immensely committed to making quality content. both are fairly likely. keep up the great work :)
It looks really great. From the thumbnail and the early stages I wasn't sure it would work but it really came together. Fun to see the patron submissions.
The outpost is a great addition to the Wild imaginary West. In addition, I'm also glad that you mentioned that the outpost keeper bird-watches with giant eagles because I've been thinking about how awesome it'd be to have some kind of giant bird added to this universe since we've only had ground-specific and water-specific creatures so far. I think making a giant eagle or hawk would be a nice video idea for the future!
My thoughts exactly! There needs to be a fairly large predatory bird in the WIW to justify the Pinkertons using those weaponized balloons. Also, something has to be carrying off all those hikers and small animals that keep disappearing...🤔
THIS IS SO COOL!! The first thing I thought of when I looked at the thumbnail for this video was of the devils head look out! I cheered when he said it was the inspiration for this build! 10/10
Gorgeous build, I love the way the guitar strings worked. A little suggestion, if you want the black base area smoother, paint the wood, especially the end grain, with a few layers of PVA (can sand after it dries) to seal up the grain, and sand up to 150-180 before painting it
Your videos are always so chill, I could watch them all day (I have, multiple times) and that tower looks like it’s had multiple owners, each of them building on the previous bit until it became a massive watchtower held together by glue, duct tape, and the occasional welded part.
Yet another breathtaking and inspiring build, bravo! I'd love to see some sort of survival raft build, as I am a huge fan of your resin builds! Definitely my #1 channel for ideas when it comes to dioramas and wargame terrain.
I subscribe to so many other makers and channels like this. You are the ONE person that posts like clockwork, weekly and I enjoy my sunday morning coffee watching you create magic. So inspired, such imagination. Please keep your work coming! I wish I had the vision to transform bits that would otherwise be trash, into other worlds.
I always get super excited when I open TH-cam and and a new Boylei Hobby Time video is out. Also congrats on 500k subscriber, I'm super happy to see this channel grow. Also you have a great sense of humor.
Congrats on hitting 500K! before you know it you'll be celebrating 1 mil! Loving this weird wild west you're creating and looking forward to the next project :)
You absolutely deserve it! Congrats, and I’m pleased to be a part of this corner of TH-cam. I’m so excited to see what you do with your universe. I’m hoping some actual play role playing…? Love what you do. Please keep it up.
The telescope was a nice add on, but it also. To me looked like a gun cannon, that could also be used in your wild west diorama to fight monsters. Just a thought! Great video!⭐👍💕
So cool 👍 i had about 6 scrap boxes when I was doing model cars and trucks and helicopters. Dug into em every build to make them unique. Awesome models at the end.
Genuinely look forward to these videos every week. The quality and consistency is amazing. I'm just starting to make videos of my own and damn it's harder than I looks
Another great addition to your imaginary wild west series, but I want to take a moment to compliment you on the other great aspects of your videos. Your editing and voiceovers are always perfectly done and I enjoy your humor that you inject here and there. But one of the coolest things about your videos are the little bits of story and personal experiences that you share along the way, like the fire watch tower sidebar today or when you built the mill with the water wheel and you told us about the one that you had visited in your area. These conversations really add a lot to your videos and help tie them to the real world, and I appreciate you including them.
Congrats on 500k subs!! Now just need another 500k to get to the 1M that you certainly deserve! I really love this mountaintop outpost, the colors used, the amazing details, as well as the awesome level of storytelling that this conveys. Thank you for now making giant eagles a real thing in the WIW, the builds have been severely lacking in large predatory flying creatures so far. I can't wait for the next build/video, somehow you have outdone yourself with each new addition. Thanks very much for the inspiration and instruction, keep on keeping on!!
As an architect, I absolutely love it! But I'm pretty damn sure that any structural engineer would probably be infuriated by this...but what the heck, as long as it's pretty!
I love those dental tools you mentioned! I work in micro/mini electronics and those things are my bread and butter. Who would’ve thought they had so much practical application outside of dentistry?
Your Wild West setting is legit my favorite part of your channel, don't get me wrong I love you sci fi stuff too and the blaster effects are awesome, but since this stuff is coming just from you it has a nice energy to it.
You’re imagination and creativity never cease to amaze me. Really enjoy your builds and use of different materials and mediums. Keep up the great work!!
500k is amazing. Also it's very deserved and well earned. Aside from your extremely creative dioramas and well made videos, your personality and charm really come through. So thank you it's my pleasure to be among your growing masses. P.S. Hey Patrons!! Nice work, good looking outposts.
It was a very quick joke that was a minuscule part of the video, but I swear on my life that I immediately ordered shawarma after watching. Congrats on 500k!! You deserve every bit of recognition for these amazing projects.
The tiny telescope is extremely cute
Yes, I am tiny and cute -///-
Hey Studs
Hi studson
i think its average
Oh hey! Nice seeing you here! Boylei and you are my inspiration!!!
Fantastic as always, love the addition of the telescope. Maybe now we need a second mountain peak complete with giant eagle's nest and accompanying giant eagle's egg hunters?

Unfortunately they didn't have anything like that at the store but I hope they/you managed to track something down!
I'm so sorry for you that you have to live in Birmingham of all places, hope you can escape soon
I like the recent theme of a sci-fi, wild west, and kind of post apocalyptical models. I think they're really unique
The Imaginary Wild West is my favorite. I love watching the world grow. It's the main reason I subscribed I never want to miss one.
My imagination goes wild thinking of the stories the people who've occupied the outpost will have to tell😲
Thank you for the great video!🤩
i imagine the watchman goes to the town inn and tells stories of eagles carrying away hikers and how he sees shapes fly past the moon while looking in his telescope
@@genericuser984 and how windy and cold it is 😆🥶
@@genericuser984 oh yes! I bet not all the people living in town will think the watchman exaggerates too much...
But then commission him to be a guide on a hike none the less (a offer he'll refuse due to knowing the dangers a little too well).
You mean, The Haunted Outpost?
Congrats on the 500k! and heres to when you reach 1 million!
I love the little stories you tell while building! In that context, the gold mesh isn't wasted, it contributed to the story you've came up with
I’ve have Covid and the last few days I’ve been watching your videos and your videos give me a smile
That little telescope is on point! Love it.
Okay, this makes it to one of my favorite Boylei builds. I love the detail, the colors, the new pipe pieces, the fun layout, etc. Really cool and inspiring addition

This is one of my favorite videos of yours. I really liked all the western ones and how there was a theme going across several projects
This was cool. I loved how he went into detail and showed us the process of the painting
I love everything about this build, but for some reason the most satisfying part is the proportions. Something about the verticality and compactness of the whole thing is just awesome.
This looks amazing! Love the different weather biomes you've been creating recently and how different the architecture ends up
The bag with metal pieces is essential. I use those metal pieces all the time. They help repairing broken figures and models, they help reinforcing articulations or plastic long beams, and also they add detail to your projects. Thanks for the video.
I love the precarious yet sturdy look of this outpost! Imaginary Wild West just keeps getting better.
Love the patrons builds too.
This is great work. Glad I took the opportunity to check this out this video!
I really really want to see you incorporate all your western sci fi builds into a huge world board/diorama. Love this world you’ve created and should be shown off together as it’s own world 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Excellent build, Boylei.
Great Stuff. I think you should try doing something tropical. Maybe a hunter being hunted by a tiger.
My grandpa used to use dental tools for his hobbies and crafting. Thanks for reminding me of the nice memories of him tinkering.
happy to see more videos, keep it up man!
Brilliant bird watching tower...That tiny telescope made the build real....This is a great edition to your wild west town....
Great to see you have reached 500k. You deserve it man.
This looks so cool. The colors really work with it. Also the melting snow just fits with it. Keep doing what you are doing.
A massive congratulations to you man. Superb build as always!
Still working my way through the series, but my favorite suggestion so far, is the redwoods/owl idea. I'd love to see more California scenery.
Beautiful
Love it from Thailand 🇹🇭
Love the illusion that the building is high up in the mountains. I call it fantastic!!! You Sir are a genius.
Boylie hobby time, you deserve all of the subscribers you have gotten. Thank you for inspiring me and having a nice relaxed community.
This rinds me of The Shambles in York England it's the way the building get larger the higher up it goes. I live near The Shambles and was surprised to find out the shops in it are 700 years old and the street is over a thousand years old! Damn that's amazing they are still standing and working shops 😯
Excellent build Boylei!
Congratulations! Your vid’s are great!
I love all these builds - they're so imaginative and interesting, I can't get enough! One thing I'd love to see is some indication of the wilders using the parts from the huge beasts that they hunt to decorate or fix their machines and homes :)
I love how you make it so realistic!
And congrats on 500k!!!
You don’t need to thank us
Your skill needs recognition, and my only wish is that more people will see this.
fantastic build. Love the sense of weight and gravity the cables lend to the structure.
Fantastic build as always and thank you for the opportunity to Participate in this challenge
Love the addition of the text to give the bird watcher more personality. I'm interested in seeing the eagles he is willing to risk his life to see.
I am so happy your continuing the wild west series, i’ve been waiting for your next video because i love these them. Please keep making these videos, they are amazing!!
This channel is a safe haven for me in this turbulent times.. thank you!

Great build, with the ending music during the final reveal, I couldn't help but notice that it would be right at home in a Borderlands game.
That's the most precarious building I've ever seen. I would love to live there.
I've been following your wild west series since the beginning and I am always blown away and inspired to pick up model making again. Thanks for sharing your craft and ideas!
Didn't know about the "snow" product you used. This would be great for WW2 Dioramas! Thanks for the great work.
Seeing these videos is the highlight of my week and I am blown away with the scale and technique for every single one

That kept getting taller and taller! Yet another great build!
Congrats Boylei! Well deserved. All the builds are awesome as always.
These sci-fi old west town pieces are amazing
It looks really great. From the thumbnail and the early stages I wasn't sure it would work but it really came together.
Fun to see the patron submissions.
I love your videos, they calm my anxiety and spark my creativity. Congratulations on 500k.

Delightful ,absolutely gorgeous model .I love the gravity-defying aspect of the construction. thanks for sharing ! Wales UK.😍😍
Congratulations on 500K!! Your videos are awesome and inspiring!! You deserve all that comes your way!! Well done as always with this new video!!
Your videos are always so chill, I could watch them all day (I have, multiple times) and that tower looks like it’s had multiple owners, each of them building on the previous bit until it became a massive watchtower held together by glue, duct tape, and the occasional welded part.
I think this is my favourite Video because it inspired me to start building my own Dioramas
This by far is my favorite building you have made. Really like.
Thank you, so much, for entertaining over half a million people.
Another lovely, relaxing video; fully of atmosphere and cool scratch-building.
Ok, that telescope is the most adorable thing I've ever seen! Great build!
I like this one. Very nicely balanced. Your Patreons did some really cool outpost too.
Congrats again for reaching 500 Thousand!

So cool 👍 i had about 6 scrap boxes when I was doing model cars and trucks and helicopters. Dug into em every build to make them unique. Awesome models at the end.
You should make a Mando V.S. Mud-horn diorama with baby Grogu.🙏 Also I like your dioramas ( especially the Star Wars ones).
Genuinely look forward to these videos every week. The quality and consistency is amazing. I'm just starting to make videos of my own and damn it's harder than I looks
Looks GREAT...love the content and attentional to detail. The aesthetic of the buildings and locations if Fantastic!
congrats on 500K!!!
Devil's Head is a fantastic hike!

P.S. Hey Patrons!! Nice work, good looking outposts.
We definitely need to see one of these giant birds!
