I discovered John Mayer when “No such thing” came on the radio. But when I heard some of his live blues I didn’t know what hit me! I have loved his music ever since and I’m a drummer and my one wish in life would be to jam with John Mayer.
I saw him live during his tour for this album and it was one of the most musically talented shows i have ever seen. Everyone on the stage with him was wonderful!
john mayers rhtyhmic breaks during his solos, and his tones are what gives his playing such a unique character.
I hate to talk people up, but this boy is GOOD. One of the best on the guitar we will ever witness in this life time.

Guessing he didn’t mean to hit that note but played it off pretty well. Didn’t sound really off since I think he goes into that scale later in the song. Major scale then minor at the end to give the bluesy sounds.
