My pull rates have been decent with this set, but I haven’t pulled any of the cards I want. I haven’t pulled any SIR cards out of about 70 packs though.
It's always interesting listening to people talk about pull rates. Im in the same boat as you without an sir or gold in probably about 60 packs so far.
1 sir penny 3 full art alakazam 4 each paldean children and 3 pawmi and palafin. The doubles are just crazy
2 sir arvens out of 200+ packs 🙃. i am 96% complete with the set tho at least.

Been incredibly lucky with Paldean Fates - pulled the bubble Mew and the Charizard in the 48 packs I’ve opened. Fun set to open, but without those two lucky hits, would have been pretty rough in terms of “returns” in the cards I pulled.
Started collecting on a whim 2 weeks ago and hit the Charizard IR. I've been enjoying learning what I've just gotten myself into and wanted to say thanks for providing info into the economy of this. Never thought I'd be doing this lol

It's still weird to me how, statically, some products shouldn't have the odds they do. It really does seem like they may not "batch" but the errors only seem to happen in batches .

Most of my money for this set was spent on booster bundles so this week we'll see how true those pull rates are.
the batching in this set is actually insane. I hit 3 FA alakazam 3 Wigglet IR from 50 packs all from the same purchase from the same store. no SIR
Batching it something else! i opened 120 packs of paldean fates right now, no gold cards, 12 palafin, 0 pawmi but got the mew.

I pulled 2 Shiny Charizards in 2 days. One from the Meowscarada Premium Box and another from an ETB
Just as long as a TH-cam short so it counts in my book. Family, especially your kids, are more important than worrying about the “legitimacy” of your streak. You’re crushing so far this year. Keep it up!

So I have 12 of these coming in the mail, but so far my Paldean Fates hits have been terrible. 70ish packs no SIR and waaaayyy to many duplicates. Think I should just sell the booster bundles off (at msrp of course) and just start buying singles?

Highly doubtful. 151 has already proven to be a unique specialty set. Like Phanny said, this will be a lot like Crown Zenith and printed into oblivion. Crown Zenith booster bundles are pouring off the shelves in stores that aren't in urban areas.
151 Booster Bundles sat for like a week on both US and Canadian Walmart awhile back, and have been in and out of stock every week or two since lmao. They were also literally restocked yesterday and the day before on both Target and Best Buy for MSRP... There's a reason they've already dropped like 20% in market price. Just because you haven't seen them in person doesn't mean they're not readily available.
It will be nothing like 151 boosters lol I bet these will be pretty easy to find for like $20 soon
I had good luck with brilliant stars. I pulled 2 alt art charizard vs and 3 rainbow rare charizards. Ended up pulling 13 in all from that set. Then I had bad luck on the sets after. It took so many packs until I pulled the 151 zard. I did get the paldean fates zard in 27 packs. But I haven't hit the Obsidian flames sir zard yet. I've opened quite a few packs too.
Pulls have been brutal for me with this set. 59 packs opened and 21 hits and nothing significant.
I pulled 4 Special in 6, 5-pack tins. 1 gardevoir, 1 zard, 1 penny, and 1 iono.
That $1k would be 20 packs of Team Up for me to open. Lol. Thanks Danny.

This opening gives me HOPE that I will get CRAZY PULLS when the twelve booster bundles I preordered from The Pokemon Center website back in November arrive!! So far, I've gotten one special illustration rare (Arven) out of the first 15 packs I've opened up from the Paldean Fates tins featuring Charizard ex, Great Tusk ex, and Iron Treads ex.

That’s so cool of you! Hands down, as a lover of the overshadowed Raichu, I’d definitely be getting a shinning Raichu and alt Raichu tag team. I’m sure I’d find other raichu’s with the remainder haha but those are my personal grails
Lol phanny dont make me regret cancelling my booster bundle preorder! I went thru 79 packs and best I got was 3 full art shinies and not the mew!
50+ Packs in and the best I got was a single Charmeleon as best card. Also, all my pull have print lines. I'm done with this set forever.
Me and my 2 bro's opened tons of pack, so far no Zard but did get a few SIR and even those are hard to pull.
I love this set I hope it doesn't get the same amount of print as shining fates. Bought a case of 3 Pack blisters pulled the mew and the clive already.

SUPER excited for my booster bundles. Praying for the SIR Garde or something to trade to get it.
I'm not even sure what I'd spend that kind of money on, but I do know I was insane the other day, and made a list of every single Gardevoir in existence, so I guess I'd put it towards that. Most Garde cards are pretty reasonable but there's two I'd defiantly want help with.

Definitely quality over quantity there. I haven't bought anything from this set yet, to me the baby shinys are 'ehh', like half-hits, but if other collectors really like them, that's great.

Anyone notice the vibrancy difference between some of the Fates cards vs their Shiny EX counterparts? I have bubble mew in both and the Fares card looks terrible side by side with the shiny Treasures

Goodbye Bieber, hello Danny. I loaded up on minitins because even the regular tins, collection box and ETB were more overpriced here. 2 packs/1 minitin for 12, 6 for 36 in the booster bundle is potato potato for me.
I got enough packs due to the distribution of the Van Gogh Pikachu last week. So I will pass on the booster bundle. I do agree the whole case looks supreme in black and gold. And for me 2/3 min live still counts. 49 days and counting!

Temporal forces will probably be the worst set of this block thus far, judging from Japanese prices. Probably around scarlet Violet base prices for singles. I don’t expect anything to be over 30 bucks in the long run
