I was just reading the liner notes of the Giant Steps album ....and French jazz critic Gérard Bremond commented way back in the mid 60s that Coltrane's performance was "exuberant, passionate ,thundering " And I realised that applies exactly to this performance.....yo bro way to go !!!!!!!!!!!!!!😲😲😲😲😲😲
So did I....but thanks to You Tube ...I've discovered all these fantastic jazz pianists..Mikan Zlatkovich...John Ambrosini....and now Peter Beets....plus virtuoso sax players Joel Frahm...Ferdinand Povel ..Gijs Dijkhuisen ...love it !!!!!!!
I love Niels Orsted Pederson's bass solos.....but Marius Beets...has taken his crown...and much deserved 🙏🙏👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
