Man... i love your channel !!!! Polish guy here. Married to an american Filipina and having thai and Vietnamese in laws... i finally can cook good tasting asian culture cuisines.
I kept the shell on because I do not want the meat to dry out, if your oil is hot enough, the shell will be very crispy and some of my friends do eat them. I personally just like to “suck” on the shell for that extra sweetness.
Hi Ronald. Thanks for sharing the recipe. May I know what can I use to replace the wine? Im sure your answer will beneficial your Muslims followers. Thank you! 😉
Thank you for sharing the good receipe, very encouraging to start cooking from home. May I know any recommeded non stick wok? Currently, I am using a Tefal and there were many scratches and coating worn off 😔

No no no. Even Chinese don’t eat prawn shells unless they’re deep fried until really crispy and dry. 😜😜 remember I cut a slit at the back of the prawns? I bite in from there to retrieve the flesh.
Even my picky eater son likes this dish too! Thanks for sharing this simple yet delicious recipe. Will defo cook this again soon!

So...no need to season the prawn? Or peel them? Because he fried them with the shell on
Looks delicious!
Amazing!
Very nice 👌
Delicious!
How do you eat the prawns since they have their shell on? It seems like if you peel them you would lose the sauce. Do you eat them with the shell on?
May I know what brand of ketchup manis that you used? Would like to try out this dish.
Kelihatan enka sekali sir...

What can we substitute for cooking wine?
Yum. Wish I can get Shogun woks and pans here. Perhaps it's possible as an import from the US but the import duty is often a killer
I would think so too. It’s okay. Next time you come to Singapore, get one of them home. ❤️
I can’t find that soy anywhere. Is there something else I can use? Thank you!

What is the brand of Kecap manis that you are using?
Do you eat also the shell of the prawn? Don't you remove the shell of the prawn before eating it?
Thank you so much

Thanks for your reply my man. 🤩❤️🙏🏻❤️
Can u tell me what’s the difference between this Kecap manis and light soya source?
Kecap is a sweet thick soy. Also has a different flavour. A little stronger than light soy but not as strong as dark soy. Hope this helps
Yummmmmmmm
Best
May I know the brand of the sweet sauce? Cos there are many types available 😅
Bango is the best brand
Can I replace wine with something else ?
You can omit it if you do not have the Chinese wine.
Is it okay not to add the shaoxing huatiao wine?
Yes no problem.
Is sweet soy sauce 甜面酱?
Substitute for Chinese wine??
Hi Chef, can teach us how to cut and cook fish head? Thanks
😍👌👌👌👌👌👌
🙏🙏🙏🙏
Um, um, um, ummmm!!!
Oi or oil?
👍
ANY ALTERNATIVE THAT CAN BE USE INSTEAD OF "KECAP MANIS"??
Hmm sucking the sauce from the prawn shell, almost can hear your taste buds popping
Modal kecap doang??
Gimana rasanya😁
❤🙏🇲🇨🇸🇬
Very unfortunate I cannot eat shell fish like prawns.
:)
I’d take the shell off before cooking. Too messy to eat
