Oh gosh. Birds are so beautiful. I love them and the little woodpecker is so hilarious in this video. The looks from him/her to a totally uninterested dove is like a little cartoon story. I've never seen a Woodpecker or a mourning dove. In UK I often hear woodpeckers but they aren't easily seen.

The Downy woodpecker is like: "Can't you see I'm a woodpecker? Get off here!!" It seems that only a bigger woodpecker would be more important in the bird hierarchy at the time of feeding))

That is absolutely amazing! What an beautiful experience to hand feed them. I am used to hand feeding Hummingbirds but I never imagine feeding doves or other birds.
👌🏼😆 The woodpecker is hilarious, he is as curious as upset with the Dove! I have both in the backyard this winter but they don't interact. Woodpecker in his suet and Dove on the ground... Thought only chickadees could be handfed !
Don’t think I recall ever seeing hand feeding a wild mourning dove on yt before so this is pretty impressive to me even amongst all the other birds you’ve hand feed in other videos!
