Today I learned of the unfortunate passing of Akira Toriyama, artist for the Dragon Quest series at the age of 68. Akira Toriyama is the single largest influence in my art career and the person to put me on the path to become a professional artist. I owe a great debt to Mr. Toriyama that he will never know. May he rest in peace.
Yeah, it's a little stressful. But the way this base is designed, aside from the "exploding wind bubbles", only the corner blocks by the doors can be destroyed so long as the enemies don't make it through the doors. And I made the one side where if an enemy did follow me through the doorway, the fire-breathing statues will burn them up while they're trapped by the paralysis weeds. It's not a perfect design, but it worked out pretty well. Maybe I can make a 100% secure base in my next playthrough. :)
