The Bible doesn't say how many wise men there were. Just because three gifts were recorded laid down, that doesn't mean there weren't more. You should change the title to just wise men without the 3.
Beautifully explained of the three wise kings & their gifts Also it was very interesting to listen to the usage of the three gifts & their significance when associated with Jesus Christ
Thank you for sharing your tender mercies of any sin I have committed. I love you and your beloved son The Lord Jesus Christ I will always keep you in my heart and soul Amen and amen.
Bible teaching, there weren't just three wise men, there could have been fifty, as they travelled in large groups. The didn't see baby Jesus at Bethlehem
Thanks for the excellent talk of Jesus birth & the 3 Magi' s visit to Jesus. Very enlightening. This proves that Jesus was king of Spirituality & this was wrongly misunderstood by many when he called himself ""KING,"" :: taking this to be king of materialistic world. This was their misconception. Even to this day, after 2000 years of Jesus birth, majority of christians dont the difference between spirituality & materialism.

I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction: and the curtains of the land of Midian did tremble (Habakkuk 3:7). The Maggi are Midianites from Cush funding the Lord with gifts.
Though known as the Three Wise Men, their gifts-gold, frankincense, and myrrh-hold deep meaning, symbolizing the kingship, divinity, and sacrifice of Jesus
These were Zoroastrian priests following the signs given in their Holly escriptures about christ's birth. You see what we are not taking in consideration is that all religions are conected at the source. What separates them is time and location of their manifestation. Zoroastrionism is a monotheistic religion manifested in Persia some 500 years before Christianity .This was the religion of the Cyrus the persian King responsible for reconstruction of the Temple, mentioned in Bible.
"The story of the Three Wise Men, or Magi, is a profound biblical account that highlights their journey to honor the newborn Jesus. Their gifts-gold, frankincense, and myrrh-hold deep symbolic meaning, representing Jesus' kingship, divinity, and eventual suffering. Understanding the significance of these gifts reveals the prophetic nature of their visit and the recognition of Jesus' role in human salvation."
It seems the Jews were grounded in carnal ways. They may worship God but saw the messiah as an earthly ruler, freeing them from earthly dictators. It may further suggest Jewish rituals actually interfered with seeing HIM as spiritual. GOD’S PLAN OF COURSE! HE was sending JESUS to spread the gospel to gentiles. ( when Jews denied his spiritual nature). We know many Jews did follow him in his ministry and became believers! Praise the Lord!
When the magi reached young Jesus..this family was in a HOUSE, not the stable that is falsely portrayed in nativity..the shepherds saw him in the stable.. it would take camels & their riders quite some time to travel such a distance..( also stopping to meet with Herod) ..Jesus was not a newborn but a toddler probably about 2 yrs old..that's why Herod has boys 2 yrs. & under killed to insure that Jesus would be in THAT age group.!
Sadly the account never states how many wise men there were, only that there were three gifts. Hence the Eastern orthodox think there were twelve. Also there was no census till 6CE ordered by Quininius , which is actually 1 year after the death of Herod. There names are also never mentioned in the bible only added as myth later. Luke clearly picked used the census, but did not know Herod was dead.
The Magi could be the other children of Abraham Genesis 25:6; Ephesians 2:12. They were not included in the blessing of the promised land for the promised Seed. God had brought Abraham out of his tent to look up and "tell the stars" Genesis15:5. This would have been passed down to all his children, and since they know the story of the promised Seed, this would have been passed down to their progenitors, until Matthew 2. Acknowledging and worshipping the promised Seed was the only way they could get access to their Fathers' inheritance. So, the gentiles were included in the gospel of salvation- which was a mystery that had been hidden from the beginning of time, but made manifest to the Apostle Paul. Deuteronomy 29:29; Romans 16:25-26; Colossians 1:26; Matthew 13:11 etc. That is the most plausible explanation for grown up, wise men, to bring specific presents and bow down to a "child"- knowing He was their Messiah, Savior and Daysman Genesis 37:9; Deuteronomy 4:19 made it possible for them, until they're included in the adoption of sons, by grace through their faith in the sacrificial death burial and resurrection of the promised Messiah, and they become sons of God, heirs and joint heirs with Him in His Kingdom. John 1:12; Romans 8:17; Matthew 8:11; Isaiah 11:10.
Brilliant! GOD IS amazing. Three wise men of various origins(gentiles). Three gifts signifying the future of a MESSIAH. BY LOOKING AT THE MEANINGS OF THE GIFTS, THE FUTURE EVENTS OF HIS LIFE CAN BE ASCERTAINED according to Jewish law and tradition. There is much speculation by religious officials as to why the JEWS FAILED TO SEE HIS SIGNIFICANCE. IN REALITY THEY WERE “BLINDED” by GOD SO THE GENTILES COULD BE GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO KNOW AND WORSHIP GOD!
Besides the bible does not say there were 3 wisemen, it does say there were 3 gifts given. They came from Persia. If one would read their whole bibles they would learn that Daniel was head of the maji in babylon, then Persia. These men knew that a king of the jews was to be born. They learned it thru Daniel. Daniel prophesied of the Messiah and no doubt made it possible for the gifts given to be provided to the Messiahs family just at the right time before Herrod would try to kill him.
This is all part of the gospellers' need to raise their mythic Jesus (not the real Jesus) to an acceptable social level. They even later destroy the statement of the angel announcing Mary's coming pregnancy that Jesus was the son of David when he claims to be superior to him. And when Peter replies to his question "whom do men say that I am" that he is he son of God, they elevate their Christ infinitely above that of a mere rabbi. Why is no Wise Man not a Jew? That is part of the gospellers' hatred for the Jews who refused to believe in the beautifully written (at times) story but not history, of their Jesus Christ. The gifts are not simply metaphors they would considerably enrich the family though they still buy the cheapest animals for sacrifice at the temple.
There's nowhere in the Scriptures where it mentioned three wise men 😂😂😂people are mislead because the Scriptures mentioned three gifts. Gold, Frankincense and myrrh, this doesn't mean that each of these were carried by three men, it could have been twelve wise maji aka astrologers.
The Wise Men were Kings : from Persia [Iran], Iraq, Ethiopia, & India - Pakistan of Indus Valley [Psalms 72] Shepherds [ Isaiah 60:1-9 & 19] : Shepherds were nomads from the Tribe of Ismael's sons' Bethlehem [Micah 5:2] The Star of Israel- Bethlehem is Christ[ Isaiah 9:6-7; 48:16 / 1st John 3:8; 5:20-21] Himself [ Numbers 24:16-17 / Matthew 2:1-12 /John 8:12; 12:44-46/ Isaiah 60:19; Acts 23:26; Revelation 21:23; 22:16].: The Light of the World ; King of kings and Lord of lords [ Zechariah 14:9 / 1st Timothy 6:14-16 / Revelation 17:14; 19:11-16 Tree of Life : Christmas Tree Chrismas Day : During Census 2 BC Midnight the 10th of October "Tishrei : The Feast of Tabernacles "Sukkot" "Emmanuel" : God With Us [ Amos 4:12; Isaiah 7:14 / Matthew 1: 18-25 ; 1st Timothy 3:16]
Indeed, if they only began their long journey when they saw the star, Mary and Joseph would not have remained in the stable, they would have gone home, the bible tells us they came to his HOUSE.
Your narrative seem not very clear about who is those three king/ wise man and where they come from. I know from the bible those three king just only come following the star that God have told them to come and handover a gift and worship the child witch haven being named . In the bible never mention where and whom was those three king. Till now its still unknown. There,s no nation that present to claim who is those three king. Those three figure also the first worshipper of Lord / king of universe Jesus christ Messaiah . For my openion those three king was not a odenary man but they ,re an angle because no one know the child was the heavenlly spirit of God king of universe except the angle of God know who Jesus is.
So these guys were led to the birth of a savior. Then they left and never checked back to see how such an important person as Jesus was doing for the rest of his life? Sounds like sound chapter might be missing.

Regarding your comment my friend, you are mistaken. The scripture never says there were three wise men! Check your Bible, my brother, and you will see there were more than one Wise Man. But we don't know how many wise men from the East actually came to worship the holy child.
The Bible does not say there were 3. It mentions 3 gifts but does not say these were the only gifts. There would have been a caravan. we have no way of knowing how many there were. They went to the king Herod first. If you read the scripture mentioned, you would realize that these visitors did not arrive at the birth. They did not come to the manger in the barn. Please let the Bible say what it says. Don't believe what some person tells you what it says.
