There are a couple things of interest. The scripture where Jesus speaks to the thief on the cross, some scholars say the coma was translated into the wrong place. "I TELL YOU, TODAY YOU WILL BE WITH ME IN PARADISE"......or "I TELL YOU TODAY, YOU WILL BE WITH ME IN PARADISE". The first quote with the coma AFTER "YOU" reads, the thief will be with Jesus that very same day. The second, with the coma with the coma AFTER "TODAY" implies, He's telling the thief, "listen because I'm telling you today" you will be with me in heaven. Small thing but interesting. Jesus was assuring him that because he he recognized Jesus as the Messiah the he would diffently be with Him there! Blessed assurance!! The thing about the 4 days Jesus waited to raise Lazarus from the grave had a purpose. The Jews believed that AFTER 3 days a person could NOT be raised from the dead! He should Himself as God by raising Lazarus on the 4th day instead of the 3rd day. And that also dispelled any assertions that Jesus Himself HAD to rise from the dead in 3 days. Because He had already proved He could cause the dead to be raised before or after being dead 3 or 4 days!

I tell you the truth, these are the things I wish they had taught in Sunday school and in sermons, instead of the Baptist rhetoric. I never even heard the Apostles Creed until I worked with a children’s choir in a United Methodist church, where they recited it. That was eyes opening for me!! Thank you so much! Rev 14-16 John describes Jesus. The description of the Word was missed where it says: out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, The idea of it coming out of His mouth is not that Jesus carries a sword in his teeth. The idea is that this sword is His Word. His weapon - and ours also -is the “Word of God”. Ephesians 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 🤗love His Word🙏🏼

I feel I’ve been called. I really have turned my life around. To be honest I thought death destruction and madness was the way to go. And then I saw the finger of god draw a picture on a dirty window one summer morning. He showed me that Satan is controlled at the hand of the Cross “like a dog”. I felt the calling and I have since changed my ways. My behavior is completely different. And I feel great not only in my heart but in my position in life and the people that I find myself around I feel comfortable and I feel they feel comfortable with me. Just following the Lord is a great feeling and truly accepting him *will* change your life.. for the better!

This verse sanitized out of the majority of bibles including the ESV. Notice the Holy Ghost was also removed by the ESV in the chapter. I guess the ESV doesn't believe in the Holy Ghost.
