In honor of Classic Game Room being back I must declare the sheer awesomeness of Truxton makes Toaplan a must buy for any sized screen.
You are basically my go-to for finding out what's able and what isn't for the Super Pocket I got yesterday. I hope when the Duke Nukem collections drop, guys like you do that check and make sure those cartridges are Super Pocket approved.
Awesome thanks, I'll be making a point of checking every release going forward. Plan to maybe do separate videos for the pocket. Sometimes it's necessary to check compatibility, suitability etc

Bought a super pocket yesterday and got the delphine collection. All games work great.

Delphine editions 'Another world' is a 90's classic that made a huge difference in those days on Atari ST / Amiga. I'll be happy to play this game again. That's one of the reasons I plan to buy the pocket Evercade console.
The Toaplan arcade 1 cart is worth buying for Snow Bros alone IMO, it's an amazing game and should display on the super pocket without issues
welp. these were all at the bottom of my list, so thats perfect! demons world looks fun but not worth prioritizing. already knew about the cathedral issue, so this was pretty good news overall 😂 delphine collection still worth it

I'm hoping that surely they'll do an update.. Despite being a tough game it's still an excellent title.
Future Wars works fine on my super pocket.
Your game is behaving like a modified file. When I edit carts and make a compatibility error that is what happens. Something may have corrupted at some point (maybe removing carts while running lol)
Pretty sure replacing the file would be the only fix sadly. Hopefully still works on your other consoles.
I wonder if Duke Nukem 1 and 2 will work on this, since they seem to be natively running re-designs.

Haha, guess what cart i ordered with taito edition back in july. I do have VS so Cathedral doesn't go completely waste.
Arghhh. Lol. Such a great couple of games. I can confirm Cathedral will be updated at some point.
I cant believe Cathedral doesnt work, especially considering just how many times Evercade official has claimed every game works, especially on their facebook group page. How disappointing.
Yep it's crap.. Still it's 1 game out of 500. I'm sure there will be an update soon for it.
Atari Collection 1 & 2 could be a better alternative to the Atari Arcade 1, those low def Atari 2600 games should look better on the smaller screen and some like 2600 Centipede are just as fun to play.
Yeah Atari 1 and 2 are totally fine. Work great actually.
@@CrazyBurger As luck would have it my special edition Super Pockets have just arrived (in the UK), very cold and damp though so will leave um out of the box for a number of hours before trying one. I don't have the gear to make a worthy vid of the Taito one but I'm sure others will get them today and do something!

Lol playing worms and armageddon on a handheld in pixel perfect mode is horrendous lol.
I am very indifferent with the super pocket. The capcom one I have no interest in due to having the EXP. The Taito one is a must have though. Just sucks it's not on a cartridge. I guess Taito support in some form is better than none. I will be getting the Taito edition soon though.

The screen looks sharp. I must ask, how does California Games play? The usual 10/10 or slighly less as a smaller screen?
It's very sharp.. California Games is a still terrible 1/10 lol

Yeah I noticed that it works on some.. it doesn't work on Taito either.. must be a bug.
Both handhelds work with it for me , but Cathedral works on neither also

Intellivision: "Hey lads I've had an idea, y'know how people like hard games like Ghosts 'n' Goblins right? Well, bare with me, what if we make the game select screen require pixel perfect skills and eyesight like a hawk? Then, and you'll like this one, mix the control scheme with Twister?" The Worms one is just the usual Team 17 lazy flogging their dead horse again, Worms is Worms you only need one version of the game. I'm sure they'll sort the non-working games out, I have a feeling it's an LCD compatibility issue caused by the smaller screen with a different pixel count because the old ROMs seem to work fine. The old ROMs are running through emulators which allow for setting resolutions to the device the emulator runs on. If it becomes a persistent issue, if the pocket just can't run these games due to maybe having a less powerful chip then cart makers will have to print a little "Runs Great on Super Pocket" logo on the case sleeve, that would be fine because it's still got plenty enough stuff on it for a little device sold for a bullseye.
I get the not loading problem with super foxy land from indie hero's 1 on my exp and don't understand why as all the others on the cart load perfectly? It's very frustrating.

Yes it works absolutely fine.
Every cart works. Only officially one game that doesn't currently work is Cathedral. As per the vid.. some carts are better suited than others.
Yeah i bought the same Super Pocket, Capcom version not super impressed. Great advertising but most games r a nightmare on The Super Pocket
