Get on it dude! I’m so jealous of all the people who have this in their home park. My home park is carowinds so I get well over 200 rides on fury every year.
I traveled all the way from Australia to ride it and it didnt dissappoint. Easily my number 1 coaster. It was hot af Park was absolutely empty thing was hauling and i just lapped it all day long laughing every time into the brake run. What a masterpiece
That was fun! As a 40+year-old coaster enthusiast, I try to keep riding them to keep my body used to it, so we can keep riding til we're old old. I-305 was the only one that really fucked me up when I rode it in 2021, but I think I was also dehydrated and it was crazy hot (I always heard everyone like "I greyed out!" and I would call bullshit - UNTIL I rode it!). I'd try it again on a cooler day. Twisted Timbers was just awesome (and we rode later in the day). And not to make me sound old, but the first time I went to KD, half of Racer/Rebel Yell ran backwards and that backwards out-and-back woodie was the greatest sensation ever. I really wish parks would run their old woodies backwards cuz it's just awesome. (And also, having just been back to Hershey, I can't decide whether Wildcat or Twisted is better either.)
I honestly don't think anything has a chance of beating I305 for me. It is EXACTLY what I look for in a ride. It's just perfect. I passed out my first ride, like fully passed out. Insane.
@@BlueZirnitra Erm . . No . . That's called sleeping. Very different from passing out. You must never be sitting upright if you faint -- you have to get the blood back to the head or it can be very serious.
Rode I305 several times on our visit last July, including an awesome night ride. On one ride my son had a total G-LOC, that lasted from first turn to the 2nd airtime hill.
Getting this one in a few days... we'll see if it can unseat TT2 as my top coaster Update: nope, TT2 is still my top, followed by Fury 325 and then this. But they're all neck-and-neck. They're all top-tier coasters, and if 305 were a little longer, I'd have definitely put this as my number 2.
I have just rid dominator yesterday, removing most fear of my coasters, my 2 best friends have forced me to go on SOO many coasters and I thank them for getting rid of that fear, dominator was so fun to me, but we didn’t have any time to do intimidator after, I hear from them you black about sometimes and it gives you tunnel vision, but I know they lie a lot about things.
You do black out on it. The evidence is in this video. The guy filming the video completely loses consciousness several times and Josiah looks to lose it a bit too.

I went to kings dominion for the first time a few days ago and I rode i305 3 times in a row. I love that coaster so much it’s definitely my #1 in the park. But that turn after the drop makes me completely pass out lol. Also the airtime is crazy on that hill. I’m glad yall had fun!
You did blackout twice in the back seat of I 305 selfie vid; the 1st between between 13:25 and 13:27 and the second was a three second blackout you had between 13:54 and 3:57. I wish I could afford a third trip three timezones away in one year because Kings Dominion is the best Cedar Fair park I've not yet been to and I've already done that twice this spring from Surrey B.C. Canada in greater Vancouver; one to Carowinds and the other to Kings Island. I'll get a day or two at California's Great America for my 1st time during the 1st weekend of November if I'm lucky. Finally got my first ride (of 12 rides throughout the day) on Project 305 yesterday, and I was immediately addicted. It is now my #1 coaster, pushing Iron Gwazi out of that spot. I can't say enough about how unbelievably incredible Project 305 is. I go on and on about how much I love coasters that are relentless, aggressive, insane, intense -- well, Project 305 is the Grand Master of all those things. It's such a great ride no matter where you sit -- but ultimately, I did like it best in the front row. I agree with you about how people say there is no airtime on Project 305 -- I don't understand this since I got insane amounts of airtime on all the airtime hills -- and I even got plenty of floater airtime on the first drop. By the end of the day yesterday, I had to finally stop myself from jumping back on it, so that I wasn't continuing to delay getting on the road to my next destination. Now, I can't wait to go back to the Kings Dominion in the fall or spring. Yesterday certainly made up for my trip to the park in 2023 when I-305 was closed. And in general the park was a completely different experience this time around - so much to the point that it's now my favorite Cedar Fair Park. I loved Twisted Timbers before yesterday, but now I love it even more -- and it moved up in my rankings of RMC's and coasters in general. I really liked The Grizzly a lot (it was closed as well on my visit in 2023). I thought it was a lot of fun, with a good layout and incredibly smooth -- and I love how it is encompassed by woods. As much as I previously liked Dominator, I like it even more after yesterday's ride. I believe in the past I made a mistake in saying to others that I liked Rougarou a little more than Dominator -- I realized yesterday that I had that backwards. Anyway, I'm so glad that I finally got to experience Project 305 -- it had been my #1 bucket list coaster in the US for a while -- and now, it sits comfortably as my #1 coaster.
Jeez it's been forever since I have been to Kings Dominion. Last time I was there I rode Hypersonic XLC and Volcano. Really need to get back there and see if I get the grey or black out effects. I love to push the g force envelope. Maybe I will try next year. Great vlog as always Marc.
i live like 45 minutes away from kings dominion and they just renamed I305 to Project 305 cause their 10 year contract came to an end this year and also they renamed it to match the theme of the area where it’s at
Im susprised that people hate so much on i305. People say it is all turns and no airtime, but it probably has better airtime than any B&M hyper, and it has so many amazing forces. Its such a well rounded ride and I prefer it over SteVe.
I gotta say, you and your friends did go on the biggest and most intense coaster ever! I never ridden on it, but I'll doubt that I might give it a try!
I-305 seems like one of my soulmate roller coasters -- with my love for relentless, intense and aggressive roller coasters -- and it has the incredible height and insane speed too, which I love on a coaster as well. Unfortunately, on my first trip to Kings Dominion back in March, I-305 was closed all day (and until an undisclosed date), which certainly did have a strong negative impact on my day at the park since I-305 was the main reason I had gone to Kings Dominion. I still had a good enough time, with my rides on Twisted Timbers, Dominator and Flight of Fear -- but I admit that I was in a disappointed and aggravated state of mind throughout the entire day at the park. The park was empty, which was nice for getting in plenty of rides, but quite a few rides other than I-305 were closed all day as well (as were many places to eat). The park had a strong apathetic feeling to it about being open for business, which added to my negative frame of mind. It also didn't help that Pantheon was closed on the previous day -- both the coasters that were supposed to be the highlights of my trip being closed did suck. Ultimately, I had a better time at Busch Gardens on this trip, even with Pantheon being closed. I wish I didn't have the day that I did at Kings Dominion, and I had left the park feeling great (or even much better) about it. SO, I am planning to make another trip to Kings Dominion in the coming year -- certainly on a day when I-305 should be up and running. I would certainly like to make up for the disappointing day I had at Kings Dominion and hopefully change my impression that I've had about the park. Twisted Timbers certainly is a great coaster. I had a lot of fun riding it many times. Dominator is a damn good coaster. And do I dare say that I really didn't find Anaconda to be that bad. Yes, there is that whole area where it just slowly meanders about doing nothing (which is bad), but I found the rest of the ride to be pretty fun. I did like the first drop into the underwater tunnel a lot - and the inversions following it were fun. Also, I didn't find it to be that uncomfortable. While Anaconda is not a great coaster, I didn't find it to be the awful disaster that the majority of enthusiasts deem it to be. Flight of Fear was fun as hell. I rode it several times in a row, and all my rides were really good. There were a few uncomfortable transitions, but none of them were that bad. I especially enjoyed the corkscrew at the end. That was the best part of the ride for me. I love that you have I-305 as the 2nd best coaster in the world and the best in America. I trust your opinion on this. It won't surprise me if I-305 becomes my new #1 coaster when I finally ride it.
The mid course trim brakes were a huge let down last time I rode it, they might have been there for a while, but they caught me off guard as I did not remember them being there.

I went on the intimidator 305 I was so scared at the line but when I went on it the drop was insane and so fun I almost passed out it was so fast! And fun it was barely scary I was mostly scared of getting passed out
Rode it couple of weeks ago for the first time for now its mine nr 2 after zadra thats intimidator. I loved the park one of my favorites in the states. Especially during the week time nice and quite.
I hate roller coasters with a passion but love kings dominion with my heart! I always go to the water park and in the tide pool I like watching the anaconda or I 305 I can’t remember which. Anyway always have a season pass for this place. Went on the grizzly and screamed and cried. Edit: it is i305 that I see while I’m in the tide pool!

Try to maximize your room on the restraints for 305. The drop is next level if your restraints are roomy. They will tighten up on the pullout but the drop will be insane.
👀👀👀 I genuinely enjoy Twisted Timbers more than I305. Side note, Volcano was personally my main reason to go to KD... in early June 2018 😞 lol I got to see it with my own eyes .. but never rode that childhood bucketlist haha
My friend passed out on that ride and now she’s too scared to get n king da Ka this weekend but I tried explaining those g forces are totally different
Don't let G&G short you on sauce, or hummus! Sometimes they'll ask but not often enough. Also at Outpost, and the tartar sauce makes the fish at CK. I don't think I'd often pay it w/o dining plan except for something big enough to share though. Wildcat's ought to be better, started with better and added more to it. TT is great, but I think some of the high rankings for it are because it's usually easy to get plenty of rides on it!
To think I’ve only ridden I-305 once near the back and that scared heck out of me and the stomach dropping feeling was immense that first drop, and now my 9 year old cousin wants to ride it after just seeing a POV.

I went opening year for Tumbili and got 3 flips because I had an offset ride

Don't let G&G short you on sauce, or hummus! Sometimes they'll ask but not often enough. Also at Outpost, and the tartar sauce makes the fish at CK. I don't think I'd often pay it w/o dining plan except for something big enough to share though.
Wildcat's ought to be better, started with better and added more to it. TT is great, but I think some of the high rankings for it are because it's usually easy to get plenty of rides on it!

Outer limits (flight of fear) is always hit or miss... its my favorite ride every 4 years.. hate the seats tho... not for tall riders

I went to kings dominion for the first time a few days ago and I rode i305 3 times in a row. I love that coaster so much it’s definitely my #1 in the park. But that turn after the drop makes me completely pass out lol. I’m glad yall had fun!
