This will work only on integrated GPU's. It will not work on dedicated GPU's. It's basically creates a virtual vram for integrated cards by taking ip space from your DDR ram. It's basically doing the same thing that we used to do with DDR Ram on old computers that allowed for Ram expansion by taking space from your hard drive and using it as Ram, but the performance of that virtual Ram was inferior in comparison with the real Ram memory card. So, in other words, if you have an Intel or AMD CPU with integrated GPU, you can do this trick, and you will have more VRam but at much lower performance. If you have a dedicated Nvidia or Radeon graphics card, then you can not expand the VRam. There is a Brasilian genius that expanded the VRam of an Nvidia card by upgrading the memory chip from 8 GB to 16GB but that requires for you to know what you're doing and it can't be done by someone that watched just 2 or 3 videos on TH-cam
Heyy i presses f2 but it opened MyASUS with UEFI not bios i tried looking for the vram option in uefi tho but didn't found nothing
my notebook intel card have 128 is that normal? my 3060 have 6000 but overall is 8 so intel shoud use 2000?
the old method you taught doesn't work anymore?
I have 8gb ram.. and intel R Graphic 4000gb but shared memory is 1792 ... why ?
I dont see the Advenced\NB configuration option
Did you manage to find it?
mine is an amd ryzen pro 5 with intagrated vega graphics 11 2gb
but in bios there is only 256 and 512mb video size options
Integrated graphics dont really have vram, its only there to fool the rest of pc in letting you download programs and video games, changing vram on those graphics has no difference
Because if you put it an higher the graphics usage will fill up your system ram and it will freeze or crash. If you only have like 8GB of system ram and 2GB of it has been set to be used by the GPU you know only have 6GB of system ram for system usage. If you put it any high you'll have less memory for the system. More for Graphics but less for the system and it'll cause performance issues.
Good day , it wasnt working for me and I dont know what to do . please help
I have asus tuf gaming and idk I can't see any buffer settings
What he said^
Hi! That option is unable to locate on my end. Any help plsssss board is onda a68v+
I have no option for UMA Frame buffer size. I have an ASUS ROG STRIX G15. Any idea why I don’t have this option?
i have uhd 620 its max is 128mb how to increase it plz reply
You cannot increase dedicated memory. Thats impossible. The vram is what it physically is. That can't be changed with code and magically increase the vram. You can only change how much system ram is shared with the gpu.
Ouch!...confirmed kill!
Then is this useless?
Also, can you shed some light on about System Video Memory?
Thanks!
@@Tko_Seven i tried it but seems no performance boost
Can you teach me how to do it? I really need it.
@@joelespiritosanto You can't, there is no way. Upgrading GPU is the only way
I'm actually thinking of buying a Dell Latitude E6540 laptop with an I5 4th gen cpu and an Intel HD Graphics 4600 with 4gb ram.
So the question is. Can it at least play games like GTA4 and Batman Arkham Origins?
Bro i am not getting any advanced option in bios setting please help
If u did not found the UEFI Menu or ur Bios is legacy just follow these steps
1-start your pc
2-while starting keep pressing on your bios key and it depends on your motherboard
3-if this did not worked keep taping on it repeatadly
My pc says higher mb without changing anything but get low memory still
is this strictly only for dedicated memory or can this be used for integrated as well
Can be used for integrated as well. In hp laptop it's called video memory size.
@@yassinegh1502 Are you using a laptop or a desktop?
@@yassinegh1502thank you bro
@@ishizaki_takana laptop but i don't see big difference after doing that maybe because i m using integrated hp graphiccard which is not for gaming but using nvidia or others might see big difference
@@yassinegh1502 yes
it actually worked thanks for the video man 🥰🥰🥰🥰❤❤❤❤
I don't have this options in my mother board, why??
This doesn't increase your system memory. This just allows the system to send chunks of data up to 4GB in size to the gpu where it is usually about 256-512MB at a time. What you did was manually turn on 4G decoding. If you have the $G Decoder option on all you have to do is click that and it's the same thing.
You're right 👍
then doing this improve any performance??
@@parthbadgujar4913 only will speed up texture loading, less stuttering and some other stuff
thannk you bro keep it up
Will it work if your original vram was 0

does it really affect gaming performance. and does it also have any side effects?
It does affect gaming performance in a positive way, but the side effects are really unforgiving. Don't try increasing it if you value your device
my bios is very different. My laptop is dell inspiron 5570, it does not have options like these. Please advise
vids like these are mostly meant for desktops
is your microsoft updates up to date ?

Hey i tried changing the video memory size on my hp laptop but after I restarted it my laptop it doesn’t turn on anymore.
Lol
How much bytes did you add? It'll surely fry your gpu if you put it above the recommended
i did this but it says that i only can use 2gb but i have 32gb of ram
he isn't asus XD
bro my pc is hp i don t find it
If you guys are so desperate on increasing your VRAM don't even think about trying what was shown in the video, just buy another better laptop or graphics card for your pc.
if it is that easy send me a $100 I will just buy a better GPU

Not a lot of people are in an appropriate age to get a job or are blessed enough to get one. Lots of these people often resort to increasing such statistics which even if it works may damage the hardware component itself. They don't care, they just want to do it because they don't have the money to buy it or don't want to.

No
Still not upgrading. Still at 128mb
Same to me but when i tried GPU-Z and played games i saw 512mb VRAM used instead of 128mb. I think the system is broken.
That depends on your ram, if using 16gb then set it only to 3g = 3gb, if 32gb ram then select 4gb, don't jump instantly to the maximum, that may vary depends on MOBO you are using

@@lazyblitzkrieg6040pretty sure u just gotta update ur drivers man....
You likely already tried that like 5 times... But try clicking "let me pick from drivers on my pc" then use the generic pnp one or generic w.e...
After that update by checking for recommended like usual...
Hopefully thatll fix it.
If not, instead of doing that automatic update, click uninstall driver after u "update" to the generic.
Then hopefully all is well

Trying to enhance your computer performance through bios is risky business. HP advised against it because it reduces the life span of your computer
where are these RAM s taken from? from your SDD, actual ram??
To your ram 16gb of 2x8gb dual channel = 3g or 3gb, if using 32gb 2x16 dual channel then you can set it to 4g or 4gb inside UMA frame buffer
@@aight111mine is 16gb dual 8gb i just recently upgraded it from 8gb dual 4gb and my vram hasn't increased from 1gb in bios why?

because ur gpu sucks

Bro advanced option is not showing in HP laptop
Same problem i have hp pavillion
Yeah I have a hp laptop and I don’t have many options in the bios
Im sorry but HP will sometimes lock the advanced BIOS if they feel that anymore adjustments would do your system harm. Most times you cannot change it- you will not have advanced settings. To Access Advanced BIOS Settings in HP
Restart your Computer. Stop whatever you are doing.
Enter BIOS Settings. Press the Esc key repeatedly until the Startup menu opens.
Power Off/ Restart your Computer. Power off or restart your computer again, and this time press F9.
Press F10 and Get the Advanced Tab.
If this still does not work then your Advanced BIOS is locked and according an HP forum, there’s no way yo unlock it.
Is this Microsoft support?
No

Bruh, you just broke my computer
No offence but😂🙂 to tell you the truth there is no way you can increase your vram(buy a graphic card with more vram)see vrams are chips that are attached on the mother board of the graphic card it's a hardware limitations
you can increase dedicated vram, not total
Its dedicated vram mate not your total
