These are perfect! Finally a fresh approachable design, that uses a domestic machine, is practical and beautiful! Thank you for making these tutorials and for creating fresh new designs! And Not the same old same old I see everywhere.
Oh my days! This is brilliant! Thank you so much for a clear tutorial! Every step easy to follow..I wish more content makers were like you?! I am going to make this..I am a beginner in sewing bags etc but I’m looking to learn more technically challenging projects and I’ve just found it..have immediately subscribed 😍
I love this idea… I have some ideas of how we could make use of the snaps, and not just as a way to keep the wallet folded. If I was a belt wearer, I could see this as something to attach to a belt with jeans… maybe a rope type belt over an oversized shirt. But, I’m a bag maker, so I have an idea for adding a strap to the inside of a handbag or tote and keeping it in place with the snaps, up off the bottom of the bag and easily accessible. Nicely done!
These are such great ideas for using the snaps! I'm not much of a belt wearer myself, but that would be so handy for carrying stuff at craft markets and other events. I may give it a go for holiday markets! Thank you so much for sharing☺️
What a great video project thank you. Could you put the snaps on the other side so your cards are enclosed for extra safety? Just wondering as im not sure if it might be a bit thick to fold the other way. Thank you for the instructional video😊
Thank you☺️ I actually tried one with snaps on the other side and I found that because of the zipper and bulk from the seam allowance, it creates a little bit of a strange bend on the corners where it folds. The corners flare up a bit. It still works just fine, the thickness doesn't interfere at all, so you definitely could put snaps on the other side!
I love the way you explain everything. I made this with leather and love the way it turned out. But I would love a slightly larger version, with more useful space. Like if the bulk in the center could hold more cards or money. I tried to make my own Pattern based on yours and it was an absolute fail. lol. If you feel so inclined to create such a pattern, I would be very happy!😊
I’m so glad it was helpful:) The rulers I use are by the brand Creative Grids. The one I use is a 4-1/2” x 18-1/2” ruler but they have both larger and smaller ones.
Thank you so much for really good and clear tutorials. These little wallets will make great gifts! What sewing machine do you use? I'm looking to purchase a new one.
The suede and faux leathers I was using were thick enough, but if you want to reinforce the snaps for use over time you can add some interfacing beneath them:)
Hello! I've added the links to what I used in the description of this video and I'll continue to do so in future videos. Some of the items are sold out because I bought them awhile ago, but I hope it helps:)

Thank you very much! I only have domestic/household machines so I try my best to create different projects that work on them😊
I love your aesthetic. This is my new go-to pattern. ❤
Excellent tutorial. Thank you for sharing.

I'm so happy you liked the project! I'm not sure if I'll be able to, but I'll see what I can come up with for a larger version☺️
I liked it. Thanks
Such a helpful tutorial, thank you. I wanted to know where you got the ruler from and whether it has a specific name please?

What sewing machine do you use? I'm looking to purchase a new one.
Happy to share☺️ I use the Baby Lock Accomplish, I've found that it's great for sewing through layers and thicker materials
If you are using faux suede, would you need to use interfacing for the snaps or is the suede thick enough on its own?
The suede and faux leathers I was using were thick enough, but if you want to reinforce the snaps for use over time you can add some interfacing beneath them:)
Can you share or link where you get your supplies?
