In this video I will explain why I feel like the S.H. Figuarts TMNT figures are the best figures you might be sleeping on. If you own these figures, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.

These might be the best turtle figures out there
It's such a pain that bandai didn't continue the line and canceled the Shredder figure
Definitely a bummer they didn’t put that Shredder out. I would have loved do see them do a Casey as well.

I've always said that these are the best tmnt turtle figures. The only thing I would done to really sell these would have been three head sculpts, 1 a wacky portrait, 2 a battle ready portrait and finally a stoic portrait. I really would have loved of they had kept going with the line, really wanted the shredder they had showed.
I’m surprised they don’t have a 3rd honestly all my dragon ball figs have like 3-4 heads or face plates.
I told that other dude I didn’t even know about the shredder bummer they didn’t get him out. Maybe one day they’ll get it back…
@@noyougrowup69 he looked pretty cool I think they were getting hit with more affordable competition by super7 and neca. I bought them when they released and I believe they were like 65 bucks and at that time they were pretty pricey but the quality is unmatched by any other company until today. Cool channel bro keep up the awesome content.

that was a STEAL! this things are insanely expensive now, and there are knock offs you got to watch out for. I've been looking at these lately, thinking about getting one to see how I like them. good video. ps. you really keep it at 59 degrees in your house? thats pretty chill. and i thought i kept it low
@tobybubonic333 haha nah I really keep it around like 67-68. But yeah even at the time they were going for like 60 a pop so I was stoked. So glad that I got these guys though don' t know if I ever would have if I didn't right then and there.
they look beautiful, probably the best figures for the turtles, a shame they are no longer manufactured

I didn't even know s h figuarts had done TMNT figures. I like how expressive their faces are.
I feel like no one really talks about them and action figure TH-cam wasn’t as big when they came out.
Their head sculpts are prefect. I think they blow the original NECA molds out of the water and are still slightly better than the new ones as well.
@@noyougrowup69 Yeah, those original toon Neca heads were pretty lackluster. Not only did they all have the exact same head sculpt, but it barely represented their toon appearance.
They worked well for the video game figs, but didn’t have a great carry over to the toon figs.

It would have been so cool of they kept that line going. Apparently Shredder was in the works.
These guys are great. Neca dark green toon figures are the top cartoon representation, but for me the light green merchandise turtles are not as good as these. Very underrated figures. I've had the mondo brothers, cool but they got sold, these guys will always have a spot in my display.
I know the dark green are the accurate colors, but for whatever reason I like the bright green better. The S.H.F. are definitely underrated.
I think neca is a bit too dark. These shf ones are definitely superior figures. They have better head shapes and legs are bigger than neca version look more connected to the main body.
I've been on the fence about getting these. I saw them at a convention back in 2014, but my focus was on MegaMan X. I still want these Turtles regardless. I have to be careful since I've heard there were counterfeits of the turtles.
@3DSTakemaruEX yes there are bootlegs out there so if you get them loose I would be careful. But they are some damn good turtles.
Nice I been wanting to get some DBZ sh figuarts great vid.
The DBZ figures are cool I actually just got the Krilln and Frieza figures. They are not as solid or as heavy as the turtles figures though.

You really got them at a steal. They were at $40 at bbts when i got them. Too bad they never released their shredder

I own there’s tmnt figures they work very well with my third party
The one nice thing about them not having a full line they’re free to plug in anywhere.

there were multiple problems with figuarts, those turtles are one of the best articulated ever made (except 2012 revoltech those are absolute beasts) for first, figuarts are scaled as 6" and those turtles fits with neca or superseven because they are 7inch lines, so... everyone expected figuarts turtles to be properly sized for their 1/12 figure collection which turned out they are way to big, second problem was when the scale was pointed out it was ignored and said they are non-scale figures which is normal for japan collectors but for eu/us it's different on top of it, line was supposed to continue with shredder which got canceled but never officially announced cancelation people just gave up on it.. it's a shame for how good they are they could be best, neca beats it all the way because they design figures with proper scale in mind as well as producing characters beyond 4 most popular brothers
I’ve never actually seen the revoltech figures in person before I’ve always wondered how they were.
It’s a bummer they didn’t get to do more I’ve always had them by themselves so I guess I’ve never even really thought about how they were scaled.
NECA does have some issues with their scale here and there, April being the glaring example, she’s way too short. Everything else I’m pretty happy with though I like that they went with season 1 bebop and rock steady. They’re like the same height as the turtles in later seasons.
Got an Donatello on the way, been struggling to get the rest for a decent price tho 😵

do you think they are better than the NECA tmnt in disguise???
They're basically the same figures as the new style guide figures so I would say they are slightly better if we're just looking at aesthetics alone.
