- I ride from Gohatsion to Addis. First I have to take a minibus to skip a small dangerous area, then I ride to Sululta, where I stay in a weird old Palace, before, the next day, reaching the now very modern Addis Ababa, after a funny breakfast in Sululta.

Yves! This was a great culmination episode especially for those of us that have been following you for a long time (since Egypt for me). As a kid who grew up in rural Ethiopia we often yell " you, you, you" or "where-you-go" to foreigners bc those were the only word's we knew in English despite not knowing what they actually meant.
I really appreciate how people of Ethopia has worked hard to develop the country towards progress and peace.👏🏾👏🏾

I am happy for you hitting the 10000km mark. I guess it means you're about halfway through the African series. 15:36 I'm glad you added that part in the video. You seem traumatized but at the same time hopeful for the future. I don't know what you go through on a daily basis, but facial expressions can speak alot. As a word of encouragement, you should also think of the people who you touch by sharing your experiences. The first video I watched was the Sudan pyramid video where you almost passed out. I have been watching each of your video every time you upload since then. The real reason I stuck around was the genuine interaction you have with people, also traveling by an open tricycle has a psychological effect on people as you are seen as open and ready for interaction unlike maybe if you traveled by a car which would most likely close you off from most of the people. I hope you never change your style of videos till south africa(you've mentioned that's your destination severally). I can imagine future generations watching your videos on historical archives feeling a nostalgic longing for real human interaction. As you are doing this trip since it's what you love, people like me marvel at the courage you have to pursue what fills you even when danger is associated with it (risk of running into rebels who might not share your sense of humanity). You will never know how much your videos fill me with a sense of freedom that I might be too scared to pursue, but I now hope you have a clue. I'll stick around just like thousands more. Can't wait for more!
