How I Made My Death The Kid Wig - Talk through | JessIsAMess

The white stripes on my death the kid wig are a little drippy, if that happens to you and you want to fix it you can actually just use a little bit of black sharpie(or black glossy paint probably) just to clean up the edges. Use a very small amount tho. Also remember, there's no such thing as perfect, as long as you are happy with the outcome that's all that matters! Be proud of your creations!
EVERYTHING YOU NEED:
- Black wig. This is the one I used, the shortest black one- www.ebay.com/it...
- Tape
- white acrylic paint w/paint brush
- scissors
- hairspray and spiking gel
- a comb
Step 1- Cut and style your wig. (observing how hair dressers at salons cut hair is very helpful)
Step 2- Hairspray the crap out of it so it doesn't move while you are painting the lines
Step 3- Use the tape to shape 3 lines around the wig.(you will need 4 long strips of tape to create 3 lines) Make sure they are pressed down tight!
Step 4- Use white paint to color in the spaces between the tape.
Step 5- When the paint is dry and the right opacity, remove the tape.
step 6- HAIRSPRAY THAT SHIT AS IF YOU WERE IN THE 1980's FILM "HAIRSPRAY."
Step 7- Put on wig in full cosplay and PARTY HARD CAUSE YOU'RE DONE!

nuGGETS , find a character you like and or relate to. Buy or make a costume. Either is fine you're still a cosplayer! Wear it to a nearby Con.. Comic Con, Etc.. and be in character. Research your character. For me as gamora, I'm more serious and cunning. You're welcomed as a weirdo at a con bc we are all weirdos! 💖

With enough hairspray it won't move an inch! This wig in particular is a really good size too so it's a breeze to put on

Great video, I just love your videos! I made my Death the Kid wig few months ago and it was so.....ugh, so much stres about it it was probably the hardest thing for me I ever made for cosplay, my whole bedroom where I painted it was white and...ugh, but I think, that the result is not that bad :D

White NOIZ I don't know if you still need it, but I got mine at drugstore so you could try there....maybe I was just lucky
