Whoa! Haven’t been to your channel in a while( summer time). Totally threw me off with the beard lol. Glad to see you’re still kicking ass with these old Polaris sleds. Not a triple guy but I love watching your videos. Keep up the great content
Those bearings on the PTO side of crankshafts of snowmobiles are under a lot more strain than the rest of them. The old Yamaha srx used to eat them up and they didn't have oil injection. The hood looks awesome!👍🍺
Someone call the cops! You fellas are absolutely killin it! Omg that purple is something special. I think the purple windshield should go on the black hood and a nice flared tinted one for parts sled. 🍻🍻
Awesome job guys! Todd I’m thinking old guy windshield lol that’s the first thing I do is put a taller shield on,all the colors look great and looking forward to hearing those fire. Have a good one
holy moly Todd, they look amazing! Didn't notice at first that the XLT is in the Gen II body. Have you mocked-up the pipes yet for the Ultra, presumably they will be the stock SPX pipes from the Aggressive? Reason I'm asking, is I've been building an Ultra Wedge with an XCR 8 engine and my roadblock is the pipes, HTG Gen II pipes are too high to close the hood and are wicked tight to the bellypan. Have heard that '99 Aggressive pipes my fit in the Wedge, need to find a set to try, as I'm dead in the water for pipes.
Hey Clyne boys! Great looking sleds as usual! Can’t believe what a nice job you guys do 👍Especially the motors, they look like show pieces! Can’t wait to see them on snow! Cheers 🍻
Bad ass father son triple team, been watchin your stuff and subscribed years ago and yall hit me back on a few. I'm a triple freak to. We race twins on the ice bit I drag race a 91 650 pumpkin that's slammed and do well on it. My ditch banger is a 500 twin evo chassy with a 600 mono block stuffed in with SLP trips I got a video of on my channel that's alot of fun. Just ordered new carb boots and exhaust flange gaskets and a fresh stud pack im lookin to get it all on this coming weekend and pray for some snow to do a hit or two on camera. Anyways another shout out to the Clyne boys you guys are solid gold in the polaris triple world and I to run into yall somewhere someday and line em up for winner buys the beer!!! Keep it up fellas!
How many triples do you have now? I miss riding sleds. Those were my era of machines. I joined the Army in 1993 and have been living in North Carolina ever since. Don’t get enough snow to ever ride here. I’m originally from Michigan. Loved to ride.
50 degrees this week....I wonder if this will be the opposite winter of how last year was? Sleds are looking good though, I've always loved the XLT's since I saw them new in the early 90s.
I say leave the shield. It really looks good like that…. As long as you can put up with the cold. 🥶 😂 it does look better without the bumper on but man that would make me nervous. 😬 . everything looks great. Good work boys! 😃
Todd looks sweet brother, now my only thing is how come you didn't do the Polaris on the nose cone mine has like pinkish purple colors on the lettering on the nose cone, other than that looks awesome Todd 🥰
honestly if you could find one I think a flared chrome cobra windshield would be the ticket on parts sled! Been trying to find one for my XLT for quite awhile now tho, must be somewhat rare. Also I think the no bumper looks great but for peace of mind just incase you happen to run into something I would put a bumper on it, because I know without one the potential damage to the sled would be much worse.
I would have put the XCR 800 engine from your 99 in this chassis. The bottom end is the same, it will bolt right in. HTG made pipes for the wedge Indy's that worked with the XCR 800 engine. The XCR 800 rack carbs will fit in a wedge use the XCR lower air box with the ultra upper and the XCR Coil brackets and intake boots. This is actually my dream sled... a little porting on the XCR 800 engine and your in the 180hp range on pump gas and they are still reliable like this and sip fuel on the trails.
wow that hood looks so good!😍 i love those gold Nuts on the engine nice Accent, goes so good with the purple! i love the purple windshield. I'd say put a bumper but all up to you!
I like the idea of your drilled bumper. As we both know when they hit they fold. The sled looks absolutely minty. I was thinking about your windshield on the spx and looked at your skis. The pink and purple looks 🔥. I dont know if they were factory, however i think '94 indy sport had a pink windshield. I know the hood was like pink magenta. I think that would pair great with your pink suspension on the purple sled
what you two guys are doin is what i've always dreamed about, and you guys are doin it to top notch preservation, much respect comming from a canuck that owned all polaris twins,ISO xcr 800 ves gen 2 BTW lol
🔥Hawk ya guyzz… hood looks tits.. run the bumper, drill it out and install, got to much time and money into that hood and belly pan. Skies on the parts sleds are beautiful eh.. def makes sense for that crank bearing pre mature failure. Great work Trent 🔥👊🔥🏍⚙️🔨⚠️and flare windshield will be fine, I’m same way I run Pepe shield on all my sleds too
My honest opinion the purple windshield looks out of place and I think you should definitely do the bumper to match the back just my opinion but looking awesome either way guys 👌
sorry i dont like the purple windshield, it doesnt match. I'd go a cobra low black if you can find one. I absolutely love the purple color with the metallic flake though...looks killer!
Whoa! Haven’t been to your channel in a while( summer time). Totally threw me off with the beard lol. Glad to see you’re still kicking ass with these old Polaris sleds. Not a triple guy but I love watching your videos. Keep up the great content
Thanks for catching back up with us

Yes they are. Thanks

The wedge windshield will not fit on the gen 2 hood. I wish though 😂
@@toddclyne3493 dang it! I completely forgot that was a gen 2 hood. Wishful thinkin
That wedge spx looks killer can’t wait to see the final product. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Thanks
Amazing work guys! Love the colour schemes and all the details, I wouldn’t change a thing 👌🏻
Thanks
Those graphics are killer! She did a great unbelievable job.
Absolutely
All the love and labor we put into these old girls really give them a value all their own 🤘🏼
Exactly
You guys do beautiful work.
We appreciate that
Everything looks good Todd. Two stroke for life
😂 absolutely
Awesome job guys! Todd I’m thinking old guy windshield lol that’s the first thing I do is put a taller shield on,all the colors look great and looking forward to hearing those fire. Have a good one
Right on!
Looking great !
Thanks
That Ultra looks absolutely awesome. 🔥 🔥
Thanks man cheers
Love the windshield. I would run a bumper just in case…but that’s me. Great work you guys!
I agree
badass like the purple put it needs the bumper they look better with and it helps protect that badass hood.
I agree
Looking good todd. That looks so sweet
Thanks
Love love love it keep that windshield!
Also the oil line .. its there for a reason right . So cool you learned me somthin !
I hope it helps
keep the purple windshield !!!!! wow awesome look
Thanks
Looks awesome with original style windshield. This sled would look sweet sitting in the snow.
Thanks
Yes bumper or it looks like when the indy sports came out with no bumpers! Plus they protect paint ect when little sticks hit!
Good point
I like the look (Only) of a low windshield. I'm 63. Give me a tall wind block every day of the week. Sleds are looking awesome!
I'm with you on that😂
holy moly Todd, they look amazing! Didn't notice at first that the XLT is in the Gen II body. I'm running a set of LRM pipes in the SPX
Looks great!! Cobra at least works and looks good. That window looks good but you will freeze. I use round backers. Never a problem.
I have never tried the rounds
Actually Todd I use Plastic round backers. And you can get them in different colors too.@@toddclyne3493
Love the motor and the gold nuts! Killing it..
New zinc nuts. Bling
That Ultra looks awesome! Do the SPX pipes fit under a wedge hood?
I'm using the LRM wedge pipes
I always used the flared windshield looks good and gives nice wind protection. When you get cold the fun starts to drain away. Just saying
I totally agree
Trenton is kicking ass
He sure is!!
Looks awesome wish I had more time do stuff like this but it's a truck driver life
I don't always have the time either 😁
We love triples
Hell yeah brother

Sitting at 14 mid 90s and 4 from the 70s ,,😂. Thanks for your service
Keep the windshield
Looks awesome
😶🌫️😁
For the cold hands get some motocross handle bar brush guards I do it for most of my
Sleds and they work rad as hell
Not really windshield friendly though 😁
The graphics and windshield look awesome on parts sled.
Thanks
That oil line was specifically put there cause over time they go bad due to not getting enough oil.
Yepper
Lookin sweet man 😎❄️
Thanks
50 degrees this week....I wonder if this will be the opposite winter of how last year was? Sleds are looking good though, I've always loved the XLT's since I saw them new in the early 90s.
Snow on the ground this morning 😂

Definitely get cold 😂

Great ideas for my next build 😁
Then you put an Indy 500 hood and nosecone on it and watch people scratch their heads all day after you wax them on the lake.@@toddclyne3493
Looks sick
😁
Have to go purple, go with a bumper, you could aways swap the high windshield o. A cold fay if needed
Right on
Bought a set polaris handle bar muffs for my 60yr hands on my ultra work great !
😂😂 I run them and chopper mits
Hats off guys nice work trent! You guys build some great lookn machines.
Thanks man
They both look awesome
Thanks
🍺🍺🍻🍻 they both look great Todd can't wait to hear them.
🍻🍻🍻
Bad Ass. Great job
Thank you
Looks amazing! Where do you get your ultra decals from?
Custom made locally
I think a flared black windshield would look better. The purple doesn’t match the other purples. But it’s your sled. If you like it run it!
I'm with you
Bumper and cobra..😊
Gotcha
wow that hood looks so good!😍 i love those gold Nuts on the engine nice Accent, goes so good with the purple! i love the purple windshield. I'd say put a bumper but all up to you!
New zinc coated nuts
Comfort is key. Have your decal lady fix up the flared windshield.
There you go
I like the idea of your drilled bumper. As we both know when they hit they fold. The sled looks absolutely minty.

very nice awesome work
Thanks
Bumper and a tow Hitch 😂🤣🇺🇸👍🦅
😂😂
I believe I might have the wiring harness for you
I found one from Mohawk Salvage. He got ahold of me last night. Thanks though
Beautiful sled. Coming along. I'd prefer flared windshield and with bumper.
I'm definitely with yeah on the windshield
No it’s good specially if you run it hard
The older I got, I gotta use a tall windshield..
I'm to the point of two on top of each other would be better 😂
what you two guys are doin is what i've always dreamed about, and you guys are doin it to top notch preservation, much respect comming from a canuck that owned all polaris twins,ISO xcr 800 ves gen 2 BTW lol
Thanks so much
Looking great! Couple Adel clamps maybe one from the chain case bolt and one off the fuel pump bolt would hold those hoses nicely. 😁
Exactly the spots I was thinking
Здравствуйте а есть у вас видео про rotax 552 ?
wow 👍👍👌👌🍺

My honest opinion the purple windshield looks out of place and I think you should definitely do the bumper to match the back just my opinion but looking awesome either way guys 👌
Sounds good
Everything looks great. In my honesty opinion, i would of left out the purple decal out of the flag. I would go with flared windshield.
I kind of left it all up to her
Like the way you are using the polaris graphics. Would never buy a sled with a wrap.
Never
Does someone make a engine nut and bolt kit? Id like to redo mine
Nope I just mine from the auto store
Needs the bumper.
I agree
Do you live in minnesota???
I like the purple, but white would be better, reflect the purple
Right on
Bumper and keep the windshield
The bumper went on.
@@toddclyne3493 that sled is beautiful!
Stick with the purple windshield. And add the bumper
Will do
sorry i dont like the purple windshield, it doesnt match. I'd go a cobra low black if you can find one. I absolutely love the purple color with the metallic flake though...looks killer!
I found a new windshield. You'll see it soon
I have 2 polaris triples I want them to go to good home. Let me know if youe interested.
No bumper for sure!!
Risky
