    I AM SOOOOOOOO GLAD you did a review on this little polisher!!!
    And I feel a little better about it now also😁
    I've had mine for over a year now and not a hiccup one!!
    Now when it comes to the pads, the 1" wool kong hair pad and 1" blue microfiber pad will not last that long, just putting that out there for anyone wanting to know.
    The rest of the pads are medium grade at best. But there are plenty of companies that produce 3" pads and smaller if you want to upgrade them.
    I mainly use mine for high gloss interior peices. And I have found that, just like the paintwork on the outside you can treat trim peices the same way. I start with the 1" green pad and use griot's garage complete compound as a starter and finish with the 1" blue pad and griot's garage complete polish. And let me tell ya, trim work comes out looking fantastic.

    Excellent video Bryan as always! I took a punt on this machine a few months back when it was discounted on Amazon at 50% and was not dissapointed especially considering the substantial kit that comes with it. Good tip on changing the grease out, that is something I overlooked and will definitely do. Love your content👍

    Thanks Brian for doing a review on a budget machine for those of us who are on very limited budgets. It's nice to see someone who isn't afraid to test and rate fairly a non-premium brand, as some people are worried about their image of having and using only the most premium and named brands on the market. Well done, a very good video.

My first pick was the flex 3 inch polisher however I saw this one and all of the accessories that comes with it. Well, your video have me confidence to purchase this puppy. One question I have is,, what do you think of the on and off switch. Many folks suggested the switch was crappy and that it will probably break. What's your thoughts?. hi, I am looking for a 75mm polisher to make slightly angular bodies, I thought of this SPTA but I admit that the lack of quick button bothers me a bit
    the ideal would be a combined polisher like the nano from spta (the quick button is missing, too bad)
    so have both: orbital, and rotary
    my question is will you recommend this mini polisher?
    it looks almost identical to the mini rupes.

    I bought this and it's decent, but none of the extension bars would screw into the backing plates. The female end has m14 threads (which is what the polisher uses), but the male end was just "off" somehow. It wasn't 5/8" or m14, so who knows. I had a heck of a time finding a set of m14 extension bars in the US, so beware if you really need them.

    How’s SPTA DA compare to Maxshine?

  • @Piglet6256
    @Piglet6256 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Yup, it has to come apart all the way as always :), I got not much to add, you covered it all. I just wonder how the quality of the pads and polishes is, i guess its average? Tried a 7" backing plate and can it cope?
    For the pro's, I think it's better to get a more powerful Maxshine rotary so you got 7" to 1" pads covered if you get the kit without the SPTA machine, so you got your rotary part all complete :)
    Well you may need to get a 7", 6' or 5' backing plate and pads of course. But for people that just start and don't plan to use it daily, this SPTA kit is as good as it gets though.
    Loved the video :)

    • @apexdetail85
      @apexdetail85  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven’t but stick to what works. Many love buff and shine, and lake country pads

      The pads are average at best. The foam pads anyway.

    I ordered a polisher from company in China a few months ago. 45 days later they messaged me they got it back from the post office, twice. Problem is, that their tracking number never worked from day one. It was a complete waste of time but at least I got a refund.
