I'm with you on the carpet issue. It's gross and I'm SO glad I no longer own a vacuum! I'm hard wood or solid surface all the way! But as a female I would NEED a working toilet. You guys have it easy where you can just go outside! 😂I think that the greatest thing of all in camper living is NO RENT!! Plus you can go wherever you want whenever you want! That's the life of a true free-spirit! Love it! Thanks for sharing Jonathan!
It’s an amazing camper. Cool as well given you are 6’4” that you can fully stand in the main area with no issues. Appreciate the tour. 🥰
It's beautiful Johnny. I loved that you are so organized, and that it has a shower!!! :)
Thanks for watching! It definitely makes life on the road a lot easier!
If I ever gave up my tiny home built camper, I would want a truck camper. I think yours is pretty perfect for one person.
Can you please make a video about your camper? God bless!
Looks like a perfect setup for a single guy. I have Tahoe that I currently don't " live " in . But suits me quite well for now. I do like the idea of of the Lancer 650 for a 1500 size truck! Very cool !!!!
Thanks for watching! It is a great option for a single person!
Love your truck camper. Rented one in Alaska for 2 months last summer. It took us everywhere we wanted to go and was perfect for seeing Alaska off the beaten path. Would love to get rid of my Airstream to have a truck camper.
If you don’t use that TV in the bedroom, I would take it out and build Cabinet space. Good job on the tour. I usually don’t like watching those but I like yours.
Thanks for sharing, Johnny. I really like your setup. Travel while you're young. Be safe. Stay well. Conway
Thanks for watching! I’m glad you liked it.
Johnny!! You have have improved your video presentation So Much!! And you have a great sense of humor!! We enjoy your content!
I really love your setup. Beautiful Camper.
Thank you!
Really enjoyed the tour and you did a nice job of explaining everything. I didn't realize there were so many amenities in a truck camper. I love camping too and have a little teardrop, the Little Guy. There's nothing like waking up in the woods. Take care.
Nice set up! Lance has been making great campers for a long time. Can't wait to see your next offering!
Nice to see you again Johnny ❤ your videos 👍✌️
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it!
It's cozy inside
Yes it is!
Love your camper wish I had one like it on my old 1/2 ton ford f150 4x4. Be careful and stay safe ENJOY YOUR VIDEOS ALOT😂❤
Very nice Johny. Thank you for the excellent tour.
Thanks for watching!
Great looking camper. Love your composting toilet idea. Love the thorough tour. It was great.
Wow!!!! It's really cool!!!! I am going to binge on your videos.
Hey…Jonathon, glad to see you coming back. Nice truck camper and all. Missed seeing y’all on here. Enjoy all you’re doing.
Great rig. Thanks for the tour. I’m a tall guy too so this looks more realistic than a van conversion. P.S. Love your channel!
That’s pretty cool, Johnathon. I’ve got a Lance travel trailer (2016-2295) and I think the build quality is great.
Lance makes a solid product!
Glad you found something that works for you!
Hey man I’m glad you showed it in its entirety. I like it man
Can't go wrong with a truck camper! I love mine! Sorry I missed you this year when we were down over the holidays but we drove back north through Nevada. When I come down in Sept. to Flagstaff hopefully we can meet up for coffee. Enjoy your TC! ~M
You can get a cookie rack for your oven. I did it and you have more room in your over.
I love your setup. be careful with your stove back of your box oven will melt your blinds Johnny that happen in my camper
Thanks for the tip! I’ll be sure to keep that in mind!
@@johnnywhild I seen Kellie fix some good food in it. I never thought about it either be careful.
Thanks for the thorough tour of your camper. Very informative
So cool!!
I know….
Nice setup
I am only concerned about you using the stove top oven over your counter inside the camper, I am afraid it will catch your counter on fire, I use one exactly like that when we go camping but I use it on my colman stove outside, I don't think your stove top is far enough off the counter to do it inside. Just please be careful I know you camp all the time and that Kellie uses an oven like that too, Loved the tour!
Thanks for watching! I will definitely be more careful with the stove!
@ please do! Have a wonderful week!!!!!
Your a soulmate !! I just bought a used Doge RAM diesel 2500 and an Apache Carry on camper about like yours, it's light so I didn't have to do anything to the truck. It's my weekend toy.
I have no interest in full time, I love my toys. But it's the cats meow on the weekends.
You might consider a portable solar panel.
Perfection!
I appreciate it!
Excellent tour.
Thanks for watching!
No, a 4x4 Expedition Max is the perfect substitute of a Van. I've had the truck camper. Getting it on and off the truck is a pain in the neck. They are slow and bulky. Thank you for the good video though. It reminded me why I should treasure my Expedition.
I’m happy you found an option that works for you!
I enjoyed this in-depth look at your camper! Nice looking for being used!!
Loving the color of the new wood cabinet!
So we have looked into vans, the Ekko, and I agree with them being too expensive for my liking.
Do you think 2 people, 2 cats and a dog could make this 650 work?
We’ve lived in RVs for years, from a 36 foot to a 18 foot…but never a truck camper.
Another question, where does one discard their poo with the folding toilet? 🚽
That would be great not to deal with the black tank!!
We will be traveling come summer. Appreciate your feedback! 💙🩵🩶
Safe travels!!
Definitely 2 people could live out of the Lance 650. The pets could be a little tight depending on the size of them. I dispose of waste in the garbage in a bag.
@ I appreciate you sharing 🫶
Please don't use that coleman stove inside your camper. They are meant to be used on a campfire or on an OUTDOOR STOVE, that is why the counter got burnt. It is a fire hazard. Look into toaster oven. Something that won't go over the edge of the counter. And some space away from the wall.
‘Slammable drawers’😂
Yeah, I have a shower in my van. I use the boxio toilet, Im seriously thinking about taking the toilet that came with it out so I have more room to shower.
Nice truck camper!👍🏻
Thanks!
miss you bean - your friend Tot
Im convinced that the SUV life is better than van and truck camping. I have a full bed, desk, toilet and cat kennel all in a crv
To each their own!
@@johnnywhild I was thinking about doing a truck with a camper in the back but then I realized what if somebody comes to mess with me in the middle of the night and I'm in the back you would have to go outside to get into the driver seat. An SUV is essentially a truck but the bed is a part of the interior. Wink wink
Ya the up grades cost maybe 3000 or 4000 on the truck
If that tv drains your battery, you may want to check that out, your battery must not be too good
nice
Nice job JW! Always enjoy your show keep it up. We have a free spot for you if you get here to Idaho. Tell me, how long is the bed of your truck? Want to try one 650 on my crew max tundra..
What a great rig! I love it and it looks so cozy too. Congratulations on your first rig! God bless you 🙏♥️ Are you a park ranger now? Also, I see your Sasquatch doll. Do u believe, just curious because I do.
I work for the Forest Service as a recreation technician. There very well could be a Sasquatch out there!
I want one like this to drive to alaska in one day. Nice set up 👍 just add a 2000 watt generator and can run a microwave or air friter 😅 what is your fuel mileage.
What are the ingredients in Magic Mind? Thanks for the tour of your Lance. They are nice campers. I lived in Flagstaff for 19 years.
Why does one cabinet door not match?
You do know that linens or winter clothes store neatly in pillow shams.
We have the 825 on a 3/4 ton and when loaded up we are over the maximum allowable by 500 Lbs, how much are you overweight? There is no way you are not overweight because the two models are basically the same dry weight.
Looks like all the upgrades he did that it’s easily as strong as a 3/4 ton. JW also seems smart enough to be conservative and know his rigs limits. Looks great enjoy your rig, it’s perfect..
Why not take the tv out for more space
It’s a great idea!
I hope you're well. As a TH-cam thumbnail designer, I focus on making designs that enhance your brand and attract more visitors. I'd love to offer a sample thumbnail for you to evaluate. If it aligns with your vision, we can talk about future projects. Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you!
I appreciate the offer! I’ll reach out if I need some help.
Like your setup 👍 I have the same truck and just wonder what tire psi you run with the extra weight?
I wonder if you could get a ceramic coating o the windows to help with scratches like you can with cars.
I haven’t tried that yet, but I’ll check it out!
Do you use the campground shower house if they have one. I love a shower house on the campground my shower is very small I like to move around when showing.
I do sometimes, depends how clean they are! I am use to my shower in the camper and use that most of the time!

Which engine do you have in your F-150?

Not stealth.
Good job John you only used "cool" 4 times.

Do you have a tattoo on you.
Yes
@johnnywhild I didn't think you had any
