I just hope that when he comes, they will continue his development. Build on what Zack did, because his look in those last scenes was awesome, not the crap that Smallville did with him. Highfather was the brother or brother in law of Darkseid, so he should be on the list. Not a fan of the Snyder cut. Darkseid did the most in the Knightmare future, which may no longer come to pass.

Darkseid is responsible for Dessad's disfigured face. Darkseid constantly punishes Dessad with the Omega Sanction, but never destroys him, due to Dessad actually having favor with Darkseid and Dessard maybe the ONLY person that Darkseid "might" care for.

Marvel and DC storylines have not evolved with the times. By the time DC generates a film the Superhero genre will have passed and the interest will be less. I predict there will be NO Billion dollar blockbuster Superhero movies. (I hope I am wrong) but the smaller comics like Invincible will continue to grow due to its mature content. Unfortunately, mature content is not scalable enough to warrant spending millions of dollars for a featured film.
