Bre Geeez I made the mistake by not mentioning that in the video. It can get pretty slippery (and annoying lol), but I find it stays in place a little better when you place the fabric front facing in and placing some type of weighted object on top (when cutting your patterns out). When sewing it's best to pin as much as you need and hold the fabric taught/tightly if you need. I hope that made sense and I hope it's helpful. I can still make that tutorial as soon as I'm done with my next few projects. Happy sewing! ❤
Thanks it does makes but I’m a newbie at sewing and I’m having a really hard time with the hems on a sleeve because it keeps getting crooked 🙄...but thanks and hopefully I get it😬
Bre Geeez I forgot about hemming tape! It's so easy to use and very helpful for beginners. It's a quick way to hem without sewing that still give a clean finish. You should be able to find it at Joannes or any crafting store. There are tutorials on how to use it too! Hopefully that's more helpful lol.
Thanks for responding and thanks for the video... I was inspired to create my own to wear from prom...my idea dress was velvet with a chocker and this has to be the most informative video I’ve found....please continue to make more videos
