You could also wear it to dinner with your husband, or any evening out for a stroll or how about a fun lunch with friends? I love African prints, but I don't wear them, as I am afraid that it would be seen as misappropriating the fabric as I am Caucasian. Your thoughts? Also, how did the brand name get chosen? I was just wondering as neither name belongs to you or George. Thanks so much. Again, the dress is AMAZING!
I agree on how versatile the dress. Jorge thought the same when I showed him the finished dress. It’s easy to dress up or down 👌 I personally don’t mind non-Africans wearing Ankara & other African textiles. It’s lovely to see others celebrate the beauty of Africa. Knowing the history behind the fabrics is always nice and appreciated. The name Kim Dave is a combination of my other English name Kimberly and my dad’s name Dave ☺️

You do have to add ease and darts to the sewing patterns. And the collar will be a slightly different shape as well
