- The young man from Liberia who may have Ebola starts vomiting blood everywhere without control and Lauren goes straight away to help him. However, when the patient is stabilised, Dr. Max Eggold realises that Lauren's globe has been punctured; she's been exposed.

This is probably the 3rd time i've seen this, its so scary and horrific to see how many people suffer from deadly viruses and how doctors and nurses will always be there for us when we are fighting to stay alive.

I would want a doctor like that to protect me if I went to the hospital with something broken or if I was extremely ill.
The thing is Ebola is very contagious and you have to be very cautious to not get infected. The people that are in risk the most are the people that take care of those patients. You can have a little hole in your suit, you won't realize that the hole is there. You'll eat something or touch your eyes and you're sentenced to death most likely. At least that's what it used to be in 2014. 90% people that were infected died from it. Now it's about 50% which is still horrible but it's much better. Much respect to those that were taking care of people infected with Ebola. Imagine taking care of a person that is sick with a virus that kills 90% of infected and you do one little mistake and you're most likely already sentenced to death.

I read a book about how this virus came out of Africa some years ago & it was absolutely terrifying. Thank God for Oxford University who continue to create vaccines.

I can what she was trying to do and all but still she shouldn’t have gone in there without complete protection. There is no guarantee that the patient is gonna live anyway even if they got to him on time with full protection . Now she has exposed herself to the virus and ultimately ended her life for no reason.

I get your point, but with how she was infected with Ebola, I'm pretty sure it wasn't due to the lack of protection. She scraped her hand as well as the gloves.
I know that it doesn't matter anyways since secure and proper protection is still important, but keep in mind that even those equipments can't 100% guarantee her safety.
