I think you miss one hehehe. Great job brother i really appreciate your passion for these cars they just bring back memories of my childhood with are 84 300D. It was such a great car especially traveling. We did a lot of traveling on vacation with that car. I was so excited when I got my license and I was able to drive that car. Those 300D and SD and SDL were the best built Mercedes ever period!

I always wonder why they didn’t put power front seats or at least maid it a option on that care. The SD it was standard.
Well they had to differentiate between the s-class and the regular 300D. That's just one of those creature comforts that they used to differentiate between their top-of-the-line models.

@@woodsandbarclay I was just wondering in your History of restoring these 300D's (especially the sedans) did maybe one stand out as the one you had to do the most work on? hehe
@@sonofprince4124no I don't think one stands out in particular. Some of the extremely low mileage cars only need ball joints and air conditioner work. Those are usually the easiest jobs.
Looks like you had to do a lot more work on this one compared to the 1983 Mercedes 300D 45,000 miles you have next to it on the website? This one only had 28000 more miles (73,000 miles) but required a lot more work seems like, Interesting...
Every car is different some cars have already had a lot of the work done some cars are 100% original and haven't had the work done yet. Some cars the mileage is from highway use and some cars from City use. Each car is totally different and unique.
