I would imagine its just there for noise reduction, oil that clutch up and I bet that rubber bushing doesn't slow the shoe down at all.

great info. I have a 15 T4, am I affected by this? If so how much effort is involved in pulling the clutch apart and taking these bushings off?

those little black things you left out are there for a reason left them on mine the hardware that hold the shoes on flew apart and damaged shoes

I just changed my oil in a 450 Grizzly. I took it out for a 1/4 mile ride. I then realized I used auto synthetic.
What should I do now? Can I just change the oil with Yamalube, or do I need to flush it.

@JBS PERFORMANCE So does the shoe on the kawi need to come in that far to release from the drum? Maybe they put the rubbers there so that it doesn’t have to travel so far to engage for a quicker/smoother engagement?
Also the softer springs would allow it to engage the drum quicker wouldn’t it?
It would flig the shoes out at a lower rpm which should help with engine braking as well.
Have you or has anyone tried the Kawi springs in the Rhino wet clutch?
And the Rhino shoes are 2 grams heavier but since the Terxy has no hole for the slugs maybe it has more weight at the tip of the shoe that may make some differences when it engages?

Would the rhino clutch interchange with the teryx clutch since they appear identical?

How about the shoes? Would you be able to use the Yamaha ones so you can put slugs in it?
