    Hoek Design - a very well known name in yacht architecture -, combines ageless lines with present comfort. Their designs will never be outdated, just like classical music that will not fade away.

      Andre Hoek is an amazing designer and a very nice person, but this was designed by Dykstra Naval Architects, launched in Zaandam in 2003 under the name Christoffel’s Lighthouse. One of my favorites for sure..

    @ Rene318 Volkomen correct. Ik werd misleid door de naam 'Hoek' - maar Hoek is de makelaar. Gerard Dijkstra is van een heel ander platform dan Hoek. Op het gebied van zeilschepen kan Dijkstra e Partners vrijwel alles. Ik ken Dijkstra vanaf mijn jonge jaren, heb hem altijd gevolgd, zou graag een boot van zijn hand gehad willen hebben, maar die lagen toen buiten mijn budget. In Dijkstra's ontwerpen zie ik toch vaak zaken die meer zijn dan de gebruikelijke jachtarchitect aanbrengt, zowel esthetisch als technisch vindt hij een perfecte balans tussen wat mogelijk is en wat niet.

      It's indecent to ask the price of such a unit... That's between your accountant and the seller....

      As orientation in super yacht builing a brand new one costs around 100,000.00 Euro per foot boat lenght. As she is 20 years old, and by sure has fully maintenance and refits, you can calculate on the 2nd hand market roughly 10,000.00 per foot, as Dutch boat building is top notch. As she is a 106 footer, the estimared price will be around 1.05-1.1 million bucks. In leasure yachting of serial boat building the prices are much lower, in Europe for now around 1000 bucks second hand. So a 15 year old 37 footer is between 35-40,000 Euro as a realistic pruce for a well maintained boat. If you go in the bigger boat classes and take a top maintenanced boat designed by a world class naval architect, around 40 years old, equipped for world cruising/live on board, its around 1500-2000 bucks per foot. So a 50 footer you might get already for 80-100,000 bucks. For such smaller boats we are in a buyers market, you easily can get price drops of 10-20,000 and more if negotiating well. Superyacht bizz is a different market as mainly very wealthy individuals look for single built, unique floating homes. Another category is the Mega Yacht segment up to 200 meters boat lenght as you can see it with Jeff Bezo's new super yacht. There one foot boat length is around one million bucks for a newly built one. In this segment money doesnt matter anymore. Remember that the puchase prize is the smallest part, annual running costs and maintenance are generally independent from boat size around 10% of the ship value. In other words: buying Nyime + 10 years ownership = 2x saes price, roughly 2.2 million you should have in reserve as total investment.
