Imagine transporting yourself to the mid/late 80s, driving into a McDonald’s drive thru in 1987-89 after Michael Jackson’s Bad came out and your just driving in your 1985 Toyota Corolla (Red edition) at night in a city filled with Neon lights (New York City) and your exposed to TV windows on the sidewalk of streets to see the news or music videos outside, then your driving to a Mall where there’s people wearing Gecko Clothing Appeal with Reeboks and windbreakers on walking in slow motion, showing off the classic mullet, shopping around the stores while listening to this. Also, imagine those gyms that do Aerobatics while wearing colorful spandex’ and 89’ Batman merch, what a trip to go down through memory lane. Visual representation is so spot on, you can almost vision what it was like back than before Social Media and Technology today. I’m an independent artist as well, and I can understand why it feels so great to listen to Vaporwave while also reminding yourself of the past experiences in previous generations of music and culture - Outstanding masterpiece by Saint Pepsi and Luxury Elite. Best, Fluorite Kids
Personally this sounds like a song right after you feel upset or get something done that was challenging, it slowly builds up and boosts your confidence that "Hey, you're still alive and standing"
its quite strange, but for me I think it was something like this - filmora evokes some imagery of the corporate 80s when companies like kodak, fujifilm did a lot of marketing. (Ironically Filmora itself isn't from the 80s). The fact that the word "trial version" appears also lends to this - back then Freemium wasn't a thing yet, and a lot of downloaded software featured trials. Thirdly, as you know a majority of vaporwave and synthwave is associated with particularly Tokyo and city nightlife. So the corporate imagery in the background certainly gives it that feel too - telling your brain "yup, this ticks off all the synthwave checkboxes"
This makes me feel nostalgic of when I was a kid and was going home from a long trip. I lived in north Mesquite so when I was coming home I would always pass by downtown Dallas and be amazed by the lights and towers. Even now the sight never gets old whenever I go through downtown.
Greatest feeling in the world just picked up my script of 110 Roxie 30mg MBoxes, I blasted off on 2-3 downtown Houston and I’m driving through all the streets looking up at all the towers and street lights with the windows down, cool air blowing through my hair, reminiscing on the early 90’s when I used to come to work with my dad. This song on loop. Ice cold Coca Cola aJust vibing p life no problems no worries, just vibes . Nostalgia. Tickling on that little warm space in time where, where life was brand new and the possibilities were endless the future was unwritten. My heart still whole and unbroken. The night belongs to me.

The city of Dallas. What a coincidence because I listen to this song riding through downtown at night all of the time. 👌🏾

Driving through Dallas is such a pain but looking at all the neon while listening to vaporwave is heavenly
I can imagine man. I played some Luxury Elite at a skyscraper in Leipzig yesterday, at night too. It was more than heavenly
@@teldaewick4747 How did you manage to play this music at a skyscraper, not doubting you, just curious.
@@AustinDallasPictures The City-Hochhaus is open to the public. I only had to pay 4 euros to get to the top XD.
