I'm not sure about that. It is a used item so it could be many different reasons for stripping out. I'm really excited about the new ones that I ordered, they are not stock and come highly recommended.
Thank you for the suggestion! I'd rather just wait on the parts. I have been planing more wood for future projects, burning the unusable scraps that are accumulating and tidying the shop. I've got plenty to do to keep me busy while I wait.
I am having a lot of newbie issues with turns. I will try and speed it up as you mentioned. Maybe it will help. Thus far just a train wreck of failures.
Fear is what stopped me from improving! Every time I tried a new technique or a suggested one, I would say to myself, what's the worst thing that could happen? Break a blade? Bad cut? And so on. None of which is a big deal realistically.
Thank you again for sharing your scrolling journey.

Thank you for watching! Very much appreciated! God Bless!
Always enjoy your videos. Looking forward to seeing the end results on the next one.
Yes, thank you! It's going to be interesting to see what happens next week! I'm actually very excited about the new parts coming in!
Wow, those threads are toast! I wonder if the metal the head is made out of is too soft?

If the treads are only stripped on one side then you could use loctite thread locker on the bad side as a temporary fix. :)

@@Amy_McFarland honestly, I don’t know how you do it.
