    Steps look very difficult. Great job figuring all that out.

    How do you cover your pool, and secure it under the deck? I have to use clamps to keep my cover from blowing away.

      @@alisown71 I got a winter cover with the cable to secure it. I’m able to get under the deck to secure behind it.

    We live in Michigan and are considering the style of pool you have. Do you take your pool down every year? What size is it? How many pads did you buy?
    Thanks😊

      No, I leave it up in the winter. 22’. 24 mats

      @@backyardproblemsolver thank you so much, my husband said no because we thought we would have to take it up and down.
      It would be so helpful if you made a video about how you winterized in MI, how long you have had your pool, issues and would you do anything different.
      We really enjoyed your videos and found them very helpful.

      @@joannnehra1100 Thank you! I have moved so I don’t have this pool anymore. I might see if I can make a video on it somehow though.

    Have you found a solution for the solar cover yet?! I have a super easy and cheap DIY system to share with you! I don’t have a link to share yet, but could take a quick video!

    Also can you elaborate a bit on the solar panels that you are using? How many degrees can the panels increase the pool temperature on average? What brand are they and were you pleased with them?

    • @backyardproblemsolver
      @backyardproblemsolver  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I liked them and I think they helped. I got them at my local pool supply store, not sure on the brand. Best bet would be to check with your local store for specific advice for your situation.

    I noticed the only way into the pool, you have locked. Is your city okay with just that? We supposedly need a fence

    Although you said its been a few years...how much roughly did you spend on materials for your deck?

    What kind of pump did you use

    • @backyardproblemsolver
      @backyardproblemsolver  ปีที่แล้ว

      It was a Hayward pump and sand filter I had found used. I don't remember the specs on it, but it was definitely more than needed for this pool, which made it very easy to keep the pool clean, cycling the water much faster than a standard pump would.
