- Our full and HONEST review of Cabana Bay Beach Resort at Universal Orlando Resort. We cover everything from the benefits of staying on site at this resort, to transportation, dining options, recreation and amenities as well as a full tour and honest review of two of the different room types available at Cabana Bay: A standard room with a Volcano Bay view and a Family Suite. There are so many booking options at Cabana Bay to consider. For example, do you want a room with a view? Would you prefer an interior or exterior entry room? Standard vs Family Suite? Do you need a room close to Volcano Bay or will you be going to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure? Terrific, informative video. The only thing that needs to be fixed is the closing times. You say they close at 12pm when they should be 12am (midnight)

Is CB close to hard rock resort? Can you use hard rock amenities?
Yes you can use the amenities at any Universal Resort but CB is a pretty far walk to Hard Rock- you’d have to walk all the way through City Walk and on the other side of Universal Studios where Hard Rock and Portofino Bay are. You’d be better off using the amenities at the hotels closest to you: in order they’re Aventura and Sapphire Falls and Royal Pacific is also down your walking path a bit further down.

What is the deposit hold fee at check in ?
That’s a great question… I’m not sure. I want to say it’s $100/ day but I would give the hotel a call and get a more accurate answer.
Is margarita Vill close walking distance
Nothing is really “close” walking distance but it is the closest because it’s the first restaurant once you go through security at city walk from the walking path.
Is it close to hard rock? Can you use the amenities from hard rock?
Dont stay there during spring break with all the sports teams

Only thing i dont like is that you spend so much to stay at this resort. And nothing is included. I just made reservation for 1200$ for 2nights and no food, bowling, arcade, nothing is included. U pay for 1200 or more just for the room. Amd everything else is extra charge.
